I go here all the time. Cheap prices, and good sized portions. Definitely one of the better things about asheboro

I had the BBQ plate (chopped, slaw, fries, & hush puppies) and I was feeling pretty good after cleaning the plate.

It reminded me of one of those awkward family meals you have to go to as a kid with your friends parents and their friends. The food was really, really good. The jerk chicken had awesome texture and fantastic sweet kick! Mac n cheese was whoa so good. Overall definitely worth the trip as a foodie. Just plan for the wait.

It's definitely in an older house; parking is easy and you seat yourself. The house is definitely older and needs some work. We felt like we were eating in a quiet living room as there was no music or background noise other than other tables. There were definitely only two people working the day we went-one front of house and one back. There are several signs stating food takes time to prepare and it will come out as it's ready. They're not kidding. We ordered jerk chicken which was pretty spicy. The Mac was incredible as were the cheesy jalapeño hush puppies. It took about 50 mins for it to come out. The spicy roll was definitely spicy, and the baked roll had a nice flavor. We waited on those for a little over an hour. Definitely not a kid friendly place due to the wait times. Also no changing stations. It's a really nice concept and diverse menu!

Despite living in asheboro, we've only visited this gem once. It's 100% a mistake on our part. Each…read moremeal comes with smashed potatoes and slaw--I don't try the slaw (I don't like it...picky eater problems) but my husband said it was fantastic! It had crunch instead of being too wet or too mushy. The smashed potatoes were very good! Potatoes served like that aren't usually my thing but they were delicious and well seasoned. I ordered the shrimp and corn while my husband got the crab cakes. Some places are mostly filling with hints of crab, Full Moon was the opposite--maximum amount of crab with the right amount of "cake". The shrimp was great and perfectly steamed. The corn came out piping hot! The service was fantastic. The seating is mostly bar tops which is cool and allows for the service to be seamless. Honestly it felt like a beach vacation on a Tuesday. Our next visit will be on a Tuesday so I can try the all you can eat crab legs.

Was given their house potatoes and Cole slaw with the Fish n Chips and everything was delicious. Very generous portions, food comes out hot and cooked perfectly. My second visit was just as delightful. Had the Shrimp Boil platter with corn, sausage and garlic toast. It was super yummy! Highly recommend!

Our order was taken and food prepared as we moved down the line towards the cashier. The food was absolutely delicious! The jumbo smoked wings were the BEST wings I've had in a long time. So good that we ordered wings to go as well. The turkey sandwich with slaw and pickles was really good! I usually don't eat slaw but it was good. The thick slices of turkey were juicy! We were surprised to see a bologna sandwich on the menu and had to order it.. and WOW.. it was delicious! A bologna sandwich with mustard, slaw, chili and onions.. The gouda Mac n cheese..DELISH! They offer an array of delicious sauces. This establishment is pretty big, it was nice and clean, including the bathroom. They also have a bar.

The restaurant looks new and it's very clean and organized. The staff are super helpful and friendly. You can actually smell the smokers from outside when you pull up and that's a great sign to me that the meats will have that delicious Smokey flavor. I have tried their Brisket, Jalapeño Smoked Sausage, Pulled Pork and Smoked Turkey. All of their meats are delicious and have great flavor, and I highly recommend the Brisket. Their sides aren't bad either. I've tried the Mac n Cheese, Baked Beans, Greens and Coleslaw. I enjoyed them all but I think the Baked Beans need more meat and BBQ sauce in them IMO. Their sauces are especially yummy. Try all of them and pick your favorite. I would recommend this restaurant to any visitors in town who are wanting good BBQ.

I had already chosen my "carved turkey Reuben sandwich", yum, when I first went at around 12:30-the line was out the door, so went to my appointment, hoping I could get back by the 230 close time. Returned at about 215 yay, and happily walked right up to the counter to order my lunch, when I was told they were out of carved turkey (the way the server explained it sounded like an ingredient in the Reuben was out, not the actual turkey. I asked if the "simple turkey sandwich" had carved turkey, and I was told no, it was deli meat-deli meat is so processed and unhealthy. I was super disappointed. So I opted for a Smashburger after asking how they liked it and she said it was "delicious". Well, it's not a Smashburger. It's a double burger on a nothing special bun. I was going to take the bun off and eat it with a knife and fork, and I was looking for those yummy crispy edges on a authentic Smashburger. They didn't exist. This was a double cheeseburger with very thick patties. I think they were grass fed so kudos to them for that,, but it was incredibly dry sadly, and when I saw that the bun had been toasted with butter, I put it back on and had a couple more bites, but was super disappointed-and trust me nobody loves a great cheeseburger more than I but now I love smash burgers as well!. I also ordered the Orzo cucumber and feta salad (as well as the french fries) on the side and while it was OK, it was nothing special. French fries were just meh. After all the stellar reviews I had I was very surprised that they would make a double cheeseburger and call it a Smash-burger-I wish these restaurants would stop doing that, it's misleading, other restaurants do this too. And for the money I spent, I should've just gone to Shake shack! I DO think it's worth a second chance, and I will say everybody there was very kind on the Service level and it's an adorable, really beautiful spot and vibe ! I strolled around and looked at the merchandise afterwards. So hopefully I'll be back but just super disappointed I didn't have a nice meal and left hungry.
