Dairio is my favorite fast food and this location is definitely my favorite one. It's super spacious - we usually roll in 7 deep and we always find a table to sit at. Even when it's crowded it doesn't feel cramped. The staff is also super friendly and efficient. As far as the menu goes, I love having options that other fast food restaurants don't have. They have the good ranch which is unheard of for a fast food chain and the jalapeno ranch is on another level. My go to when visiting is always a burger add cheese, hot dogs, and chicken tenders. I love that they have sweet potato fries as a side item which I also always get. This order has never let me down. I was in the area last week on an errand and I decided to stop in here, and I'm certainly glad I did. They are again offering a seasonal item, Chili Bean Soup - 12 ounces for $5.99, and includes sour cream and crackers! I added shredded cheese which was 50 cents additional. The chili has ground beef, black beans, pinto beans, chopped white onion, chili powder, other spices, and a touch of garlic. The chili is thick, and very flavorful , much more a stew than a soup, and I'll most certainly have it often as the temperatures turn colder. The shredded cheese added a lot to this dish, I'll double it on my next order, and ask for double the 4 saltines I received. The Chili Bean Soup, while flavorful, is mild. I added the contents of a packet of Texas Pete at various times as I ate. Between this soup and the Brunswick Stew at Honky Tonk, this is setting up to be a toasty fall and winter! read more

We love Dairi-O, just in general. Have not been to a location where the food wasn't great, and the service was well above board by fast food standards. I would go so far as to say that DairiO is the Chick-Fil-A of burgers. If they wanted to, they could absolutely take this franchise to the moon and go national, at least that is my opinion. I'll just count us lucky that we have this awesome regional chain in the Triad, and that it is based here. Like all the other locations, I think the burgers and hot dogs are the star. I hear other people talk about this and that, but consistently you are going to get some of the best hot dogs you'll find. Buttered and grilled buns, tasty franks, good recipe for the chili and slaw, and any other number of toppings. I like mine all the way, add jalapenos. Fries here are the crinkle kind, but since they stay busy, you always get a hot batch... and that's the key for all fries, right? We stopped in this location as we really wanted ice cream after a zoo trip. We usually get hand spun milkshakes, but the banana split was calling to us this time. Looks great, tastes even better. We were in town for a soccer tournament and after the game, we decided to eat as a team. We all decided to eat here this was my first time trying Dairi-O. The menu wasn't overwhelming, and the staff were extremely friendly. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. One of my daughters had their grilled cheese sandwich and another one had their hot dog. The girls really enjoyed their food. However, my chicken sandwich was dry and needed some flavored. Prices were reasonable. It was clean and spacious inside and they also sell ice cream. It's good food but one time and more I think about it really makes me upset. We went thru drive thru during covid thing and whom ever cooking the onion rings decided to clean out its hairbrush and add it to my order of onion rings. When I went to complain said they could fix more but could not give my money back. I gave them the onion rings and left didn't want any food from them after that. Since then we go inside to get our food but they lost our business as a go to. Food is great tastes a lot like my parents restaurant when I was growing up as a kid. But after that hair ball I wished I'd asked for manager and had that kid removed. Or either they picked up an onion ring that fell to the ground and picked it up and they don't sweep. My experiences at Dairi-O both inside and drive thru have always been positive. The portion sizes for French fries are ginormous! I typically get a kids meal as my meal because the adult meal is a lot of food. They have homemade ranch which is a bonus--if you like spicy stuff, they also have a jalapeño ranch! They have it going on do not let the long lines scare you cause they are moving people thru fast ! My order is always hot and made just as requested. My Jupee Girl gets sooo excited when we make that turn into Dari O's as a matter of fact she is now convinced the bank and pharmacy are just basic establishments ( they only give milk bones ) and this girl is sooo much better than a basic milk bone. I found this location during a couple of years ago and immediately chose to be a reoccurring customer. My personal favorite is their hot dog combo. Although, I don't visit Dairi-O very often, I do treat myself when I go. The hot dogs have toasted buns, all beef hot dogs and an array of topping options. The fries are always hot and crisp. I've never been disappointed here. The ambience of the location is very casual and the staff is always friendly. I visited this Dairi-o's on a Thursday for lunch. I ordered the hotdog (all the way) combo that came with fries and a drink. I love Dairi-o's, and I'll stop at one anytime I get the chance! I also been to the one in King, and Kernersville. I love all the choices!!! I particularly like that they allow you order double toppings. I order my hotdog with: mustard, double slaw, double chili, and double onions... It is delicious! The serving of fries is large enough for two people. I was waited on quickly. They offer good food, fast service... and keep the lines moving. Their restaurants are always clean, and I don't have to worry about sitting a a table that hasn't been wiped down. We are in from NY for vacation, and we're looking for someplace to eat after the zoo. This place was great. We had 12 people and all of us had food on table in less than 15 minutes. Dairi-O was a welcomed sight amidst the sea of big name fast food chains on this strip. We were driving through Sunday around lunch time and pulled right in. I noticed the majority of fast food restaurants in this area were slammed at this time and Dairi-O was no exception. They had two drive-thru lines going. The line I was in had two employees (with masks and gloves on) taking orders in the parking lot. They also allowed guests to swipe their own credit card which I thought was a good process. After you order you pull up to the second tent where an employees asks your name and you wait for your food. All in all for how long the lines were the process was pretty speedy. They were good about having people pull off to parking spots and not blocking the whole line if orders were taking longer than expected. I went with a cheeseburger, onion rings, tea, and milkshake. I had a two hour drive ahead of me so I went for it. I thought the burger was tasty and just the type of diner style burger I enjoy. The onion rings were hot and tea was tasty too. I went with the chocolate milk shake, I went with soft serve instead of hand dipped. While it was tasty, I'd go with hand dipped next time to get a richer chocolate flavor. My husband got a pineapple milkshake and it was awesome. So tasty! Give it a try next time and see for yourself. Next time I'm in this area I will certainly be stopping into Dairi-O again! read more

Because my parents ingrained in me to never pay theme park or public attraction prices for subpar food .. I ended up here after a day at the zoo. My husband and I were searching for something quick and convenient as we had a sleepy baby in the car. Luckily, Dairi-o checked both of those boxes. No line at the drive-thru. A bit of an awkward ordering process for first timers.. apparently when you order a burger you tell them what you want on it otherwise it just comes plain. We were luckily that the drive thru attendant explained this to us. I had a burger and fries. It tasted like everything was cooked fresh. The burger patty was large and season nicely. Wow, where has this place been all my life? I am a Chick-Fil-A fan, and when I saw tents by the drive thru window, it was a sign that I need to check them out. I love that they offer your classic fast food grub - think burgers, hot dogs and fries - yet also have salads, wraps and souvlaki! The last item is what I got, and I was happy. The hubs got some dogs and let me tell you that this may have turned into his favorite hot dog joint. They grill the buns without overdoing it, and he never gets his buns grilled! This was alright. I consider myself a burger connoisseur, so I was a bit let down by the burger itself. However, I was thrilled that they have some staple items like crinkle cut fries and crushed ice. :) I was also thrilled they have wheat buns and side salads! The chicken tenders are yummy, as is the honey mustard. :) Our food was ready quickly. This is basically elevated fast food. The ice cream/dessert menu looked great, which I also consider myself a connoisseur of! So, I'll make sure to try some ice cream next time. They have decent salads. Their fries are pretty good. Both are gluten free. I like the jalapeño ranch on the salads. I think the salads are more iceberg than mixed greens and to me that's not worth the price. But if it's fresh the rest of the salad is tasty (I've had the occasional not so fresh salad, very disappointing) their tea is usually pretty good, but occasionally someone must make it that really likes tea syrup. And a time or two the sweet tea was just brown water. It's fast food. It's definitely one of the better options for fast food in my opinion, but it's still just fast food. The people are nice. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the drive thru staff (teenagers) frequently leave something out of the bag/order. Missing items in the last few ...fries without ranch, fish sandwich without tarter, unsweetened tea instead of sweet tea and in general drinks without straws... They hand you the bag and run back to the window and when something is caught it is very hard to get them to come back and bring it. If you can find a parking space and have time to go in, you will mostly have a better experience. read more

I'm first visit to a Dairi-O. This restaurant is taking pre-caution and only allowing drive-thru take out. The food was a mess in the bag and wrapper. Two lanes with four employees outside. This experience is the worst experience I've had visiting a fast food restaurant. Once you pay at the first window you pull up to the second. An employee will hand you your food and drink. The lane to the right (second lane) has two employees standing five feet from the employee in the first lane. The second employee handing orders to the customer in the second lane walks in front of the first lane vehicle without looking, he was dancing and goofing off the entire time. Food was great, and service was good. We enjoyed our meal on the patio area which was really nice and spacious for our family of 6.

I went through the drive thru and ordered a cheeseburger with everything except mustard and pickles... I get my burger, and it had mustard and pickles on it. I took it inside, and had them make a new one, and Marlene working the counter had asked if I'd like her to throw my burger away (which keep in mind I had it fully opened, and touched every layer of that burger) and I handed it to her, then proceeded to watch her wrap it back up, place it on a tray under warmers instead of the trashcan. And then I got my 2nd burger, and there was no cheese, which would have been fine if I wasn't charged for it. So I had to go back inside, and she came back to the counter (she being Marlene) and handed me a hotdog box with 1 single slice of cheese inside.
