We were in town for a soccer tournament and after the game, we decided to eat as a team. We all decided to eat here this was my first time trying Dairi-O. The menu wasn't overwhelming, and the staff were extremely friendly. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. One of my daughters had their grilled cheese sandwich and another one had their hot dog. The girls really enjoyed their food. However, my chicken sandwich was dry and needed some flavored. Prices were reasonable. It was clean and spacious inside and they also sell ice cream. I noticed that they offer a lot of ice cream flavors however we did not have the opportunity to taste any.

First time here and it was really good! I hate the ordering tho. It's like chick fil a. As a first timer this was insanely stressful. But the chicken wrap I got was really good. Chilli cheese fries were great although next time I may just do cheese fries. The onion rings were tasty and the shakes were delicious!!

OMG so the food is still great the establishment is always SO clean !! Can we talk about the drive thru ... They have it going on do not let the long lines scare you cause they are moving people thru fast ! My order is always hot and made just as requested. I have yet to try anything here that was not pleased with or wouldn't order again. Now for the most IMPORTANT information that will be in this updated review... DID YOU KNOW THEY OFFER FREE PUP CUPS ??!! My Jupee Girl gets sooo excited when we make that turn into Dari O's as a matter of fact she is now convinced the bank and pharmacy are just basic establishments ( they only give milk bones ) and this girl is sooo much better than a basic milk bone. It's not often you will see me without my girl so I fully appreciate anywhere that welcomes my sweet very well behaved girl. Dari-O you are Jupee Approved . If this review isn't enough for you to load up your fur fam and run them down to the Dari-O to get a pup cup please see the attached Super Cute Photos of Jupee and her pup cup!

I found this location during a couple of years ago and immediately chose to be a reoccurring customer. My personal favorite is their hot dog combo. Although, I don't visit Dairi-O very often, I do treat myself when I go. The hot dogs have toasted buns, all beef hot dogs and an array of topping options. The fries are always hot and crisp. I've never been disappointed here. The ambience of the location is very casual and the staff is always friendly. I highly recommend trying Dairi-O the next time you see one of the locations in NC.

Dairi-O was a welcomed sight amidst the sea of big name fast food chains on this strip. We were driving through Sunday around lunch time and pulled right in. I noticed the majority of fast food restaurants in this area were slammed at this time and Dairi-O was no exception. They had two drive-thru lines going. The line I was in had two employees (with masks and gloves on) taking orders in the parking lot. They also allowed guests to swipe their own credit card which I thought was a good process. After you order you pull up to the second tent where an employees asks your name and you wait for your food. All in all for how long the lines were the process was pretty speedy. They were good about having people pull off to parking spots and not blocking the whole line if orders were taking longer than expected. I went with a cheeseburger, onion rings, tea, and milkshake. I had a two hour drive ahead of me so I went for it. I thought the burger was tasty and just the type of diner style burger I enjoy. The onion rings were hot and tea was tasty too. I went with the chocolate milk shake, I went with soft serve instead of hand dipped. While it was tasty, I'd go with hand dipped next time to get a richer chocolate flavor. My husband got a pineapple milkshake and it was awesome. So tasty! Give it a try next time and see for yourself. Next time I'm in this area I will certainly be stopping into Dairi-O again!

Because my parents ingrained in me to never pay theme park or public attraction prices for subpar food .. I ended up here after a day at the zoo. My husband and I were searching for something quick and convenient as we had a sleepy baby in the car. Luckily, Dairi-o checked both of those boxes. No line at the drive-thru. A bit of an awkward ordering process for first timers.. apparently when you order a burger you tell them what you want on it otherwise it just comes plain. We were luckily that the drive thru attendant explained this to us. I had a burger and fries. It tasted like everything was cooked fresh. The burger patty was large and season nicely. The crinkle cut fries were hot out of the fryer: it took a little while to get our food, maybe an extra 5 minutes, so we had to pull up out of the drive thru line- but I would happily do that to get "fresh" fast food. The burger meal came to $10 and change,

I had already chosen my "carved turkey Reuben sandwich", yum, when I first went at around 12:30-the line was out the door, so went to my appointment, hoping I could get back by the 230 close time. Returned at about 215 yay, and happily walked right up to the counter to order my lunch, when I was told they were out of carved turkey (the way the server explained it sounded like an ingredient in the Reuben was out, not the actual turkey. I asked if the "simple turkey sandwich" had carved turkey, and I was told no, it was deli meat-deli meat is so processed and unhealthy. I was super disappointed. So I opted for a Smashburger after asking how they liked it and she said it was "delicious". Well, it's not a Smashburger. It's a double burger on a nothing special bun. I was going to take the bun off and eat it with a knife and fork, and I was looking for those yummy crispy edges on a authentic Smashburger. They didn't exist. This was a double cheeseburger with very thick patties. I think they were grass fed so kudos to them for that,, but it was incredibly dry sadly, and when I saw that the bun had been toasted with butter, I put it back on and had a couple more bites, but was super disappointed-and trust me nobody loves a great cheeseburger more than I but now I love smash burgers as well!. I also ordered the Orzo cucumber and feta salad (as well as the french fries) on the side and while it was OK, it was nothing special. French fries were just meh. After all the stellar reviews I had I was very surprised that they would make a double cheeseburger and call it a Smash-burger-I wish these restaurants would stop doing that, it's misleading, other restaurants do this too. And for the money I spent, I should've just gone to Shake shack! I DO think it's worth a second chance, and I will say everybody there was very kind on the Service level and it's an adorable, really beautiful spot and vibe ! I strolled around and looked at the merchandise afterwards. So hopefully I'll be back but just super disappointed I didn't have a nice meal and left hungry.

I always order the fluffy on GF with no cheese, and he always orders the Italian on GF with no cheese. There is cross contamination, so if you are celiac, you can ask them to change gloves, use a clean knife, and keep your sandwich away from the others. We have almost never received the correct order without cheese the first time, but they don't make a fuss when asked to remake the sandwiches, and they are very apologetic. These sandwiches are generous with the meat and other fillings, and the pizza-crust-as-bread works so well. We also get their delicious potato salad with our sandwiches. The seating area is not huge, maybe ten tables, but we've never had to wait for one, and we often take our order to go. The restaurant is clean, and parking is fairly convenient. Even with the issue of having to remake sandwiches, I still rate Blake's a solid five star. It's consistently delicious, and I like supporting a small business in my home community.

You cannot find a better place for a meal, or more kind folks running the place from top to bottom. And if your plate is too big to finish, feel free to take it home, because you'll want to save room for dessert. Magnolia 23 is a staple in our household. So long as we've lived within a 30 minute drive, it has been a great place for a Sunday lunch, or any other meal within the hours they are open. They treat you like family from the very start with the way that they take names for the line. It's natural to start a conversation with the people around you, because everyone has the same end game - a great meal. Once you're seated, it's never long before a waitress comes and takes your drink order. The menu for the day is posted on Facebook and written on the board on the wall, along with the sides and dessert options. There's no menus because it's a meat and two sides, plus a bread of either roll or cornbread. The seating is tables and chairs, although some areas have couches for seating, which is a nice change of pace. Today I got stewed beef with sides of mac and cheese, yams, and bread choice was cornbread. My other half got the country style steak, with sides of cabbage and rice with gravy, and bread of cornbread. The littles shared a fried chicken plate with side of mashed potatoes with gravy. They divided and conquered their food so fast I forgot to snag a picture of it. The stewed beef was perfection. So tender, and the juices went well with the cornbread. The yams were expertly spiced, and prepared with so much love. The mac and cheese was delicious, so I offered some to my youngest who promptly stole the rest of it. I did sample the country style steak, and it was so delicious that none was spared. I cannot wait to eat my leftover stewed beef later this week, as I knew I wanted to save room for dessert. We ordered two fried apple pies, and a slice of Hershey bar cake. Be careful with the fried pies - the filling turns into molten lava when heated, so despite the fact that you'll want to take the largest first bite, please be patient and spare your taste buds from their imminent demise by letting it cool a minute. The spices on the apple filling on the fried pies were perfect, and I savored every bite that I stole from my husband. My dessert was the Hershey bar cake, which I split with one of my littles. It didn't have a thick layer of icing, which was great. The cake had a nice crumb, and was sweet without being overly sweet. If you haven't been here yet, make sure to take note of their hours and then take a trip to Asheboro. Once you've finished your meal, feel free to take a stroll around downtown and know that you've just had the best meal around. Magnolia 23 is worth the price and worth the wait, because you will be blessed by the whole experience.

I told the waitress that I wanted a Voodoo ranger and she didn't ask for a pint or large, just took off and brought back a pint. Then we order a classic Caesar salad $5.69 add Salmon $4.30 and add shrimp $4.30 with the dressing on the side and no croutons. I had a Cuban sandwich and that was the order. When they brought the Caesar salad they said they were out of Parmesan cheese. So the salad was just Romaine lettuce and salad dressing, which wasn't that good. The bill came to nearly $50 and when I looked, they charged me $16.99 for a salmon Caesar salad that was nowhere on the menu and then add a $7.99 shrimp skewer that was listed under the steak menu. I asked the waitress what was she doing, and where did she come up with the prices that weren't on the menu. I asked for a manager and this was also a nightmare. I first asked her to show me on the menu where the Salmon Caesar salad was listed and why they also changed me $7.99 for shrimp when you specifically state it's$4.30? They also stated that we couldn't double up the add on's. There was NO statement on that and NO salmon Caesar Salad on the menu. The difference from what I ordered and what they changed was $10.00. The 20+ year old manager couldn't see the difference and first offered only a $4 discount and then agreed to another $4.50 discount which still doesn't get to the $10 difference. This place was a joke, and the waitress should have stated that what I pointed out on the menu was not what she had entered in. We will NEVER visit this place again, and it was my fault for not looking at the 2.5 stars
