I've been to this cookout three times and all three times they've SUCKED. Not only do they consistently get your order wrong, the drinks are watered down, and the attitudes are at an all time high. Just throw the whole place away. read more

Though I really like the food and environment at Cook Out fast-food restaurants; this particular location the staff working the drive-thru has no personable skills when taking orders over the loud speaker and at the window. You feel rushed in trying place your order and get no personality at the window to pick up your food and pay. read more

Ignored in the drive through for ten minutes. Then ignored at the drive through window for another 10 when I pulled up for an explanation. The crew claimed they were closed when the posted hours clearly stated they should be be open. 3 cars behind me were honking horns as if I was the problem. If you want a long wait for a tiny, burnt burger, this is your place! We've been to several Cookout locations, and they have always been consistent - fresh, juicy, perfectly cooked burgers - not here. We waited 25 minutes for small, overbooked burgers, which were not edible. Not sure what's going on with this location, but we won't be back to find out. read more

By far the worst cook out I've been to. Went there last week with my husband. We wanted fast food because we were short on time (well this was anything but fast!). Girl at the counter was clearly short handed, yet she still managed to be rude not only to me, but every other customer she encountered - I get it. I've worked in fast food before, but still. We ordered and sat down to wait. 35 minutes before we got our food. It was pretty good but I was so annoyed by the time we got our "fast food" that I couldn't even enjoy it. I was very irritated. However, I decided to give it a second chance today. Bad idea! Once again, took over 30 minutes to get my food. Once again, I was so irritated I decided to just take it to go. I get home and check my food. Wrong! I ordered the 3 chicken strip meal. When I opened my box, It had ONE teeny little chicken strip in it. Shame on me for not checking before I left. Anyways, don't waste your time here. The food is decent, but definitely not fast. Very disappointed. read more

I just left there. Hadn't eaten all day blood sugar low (hangry lol) originally my order was messed up (wanted low carb burger) but I was confused in how to order it. I came in side and asked for a manager an amazing young man by the name of Daniel Hill, greeted me with a smile I explain the situation. He responded with a "yes ma'am" I will take of everything. Which he did. Thank you for Daniel for turning around an initial bad moment. I hope that the upper management there recognizes Daniel Hill for his talent. Great Job!! read more

Love their burger trays and go once a week. Everytime i ask for no mayo and no ketchup. They have not gotten it right a single time. They need to put a little more emphasis on order taking and less on speed of service. read more

Food was fine but not worth almost an hour wait and a ridiculous amount of frustration. We stopped in last night after the Atlanta United soccer game. The Braves game had also ended around the same time, so the restaurant was probably not expecting a high volume of people at 10pm. With that being said, the service was still completely unacceptable. Waited 32 mins for our food only to discover that the order was wrong, then ended up waiting another 20 mins to get the new order, which was even more messed up (ordered a burger, onion rings and a corn dog, and we were given a burger, chicken wrap and quesadilla????). We asked to speak to a manager, but they refused to come out and talk to any of the upset customers (and there were a lot). Instead they made their poor employees take all the heat - extremely unprofessional. The only positive is that we were given a refund, but only after asking for it. read more

This is a glorified Hardee's but not as good. (Or not good at all) CO now feels like a major chain with chain food and chain service. They (Cook Out's across the south) didn't used to: When my NOW senior Bulldog (UGA student for out of staters) was visiting Athens as a recruit (he smart), we hit CO on our way out of town for milkshakes and burgers for the ride home. Repeat after each semester and familial visit. While not the original restaurant (we been there too in NC) it was as good. The Mayretta franchise outlet is what happens when a company looses its focus and slaps up "units" faster than politics in America make you go "what?" CO in Mayretta is yuck. Do better or fade out. Last/first visit we literally could not drink our milk shakes after 45 minutes of letting them cool down (forget thick and creamy) and our burgers were so leathery, gritty and over sauced (mustard), I literally felt sick after 3 bites. Go to a nearby Hardee's. Do yourself a favor if in the mood for fast food other than chicken, the king, bell or clown. SHD read more

My husband and I tried Cook Out for the first time and we will never go back. First of all, and I realize this is just a personal preference, there aren't any "spicy" burger options. They don't serve jalapeños or pepper jack cheese. Second, my burger looked like it was assembled by a child. The toppings were falling off and incredibly messy. It was so sloppy. Both my husband and I were very disappointed with the taste and quality of the burger and the fries tasted like they were over cooked and had been sitting under a heating lamp for hours. To make things worse, we barely made it home in time to make it to the bathroom. Not sure what was on the food, but it was not kind to the digestive system. We could have gotten better quality at Wendy's. I do not recommend this place. Poor quality for the price. read more

My daughter and I wanted to grab lunch before shopping today. We just wanted something quick and thought we would try this place for the first time. We got there a few before 11 am and there were only 6 other people in the place and no orders ahead of us. It took about 20 minutes to get an Oreo shake, fries that tasted and had the texture of the ones you bring home then put in the frig thinking they will magically be ok to eat as a leftover the next day (but never are), this icky cheddar burger that I obviously did not read the fine print that cheddar here is that processed stuff you can get from the gas station with a package of stale corn chips, and last a plain hamburger. My daughter pointed out how bland the burger was and that there was so little meat compared to the bun. Only reason I am giving this place 3 stars is because the Oreo milk shake was good. read more

This is one of the faster cookouts I've ever been to. Efficient double drive thru and double walk up window. It's perfect for a post Wolfpack win or a late night snack that's close to campus. read more

When they first opened, the food was good. And it seemed to be a good value. But i would say that within the last year it has just taken a downward dive in not only the quality of the food, but also in customer service. Staff makes me feel as if they are above me when i go there. They rush you when u order, and then again after they hand you your food. The time before last, they left out an entire corn dog, and the chicken wrap had a tiny piece of soggy lettuce and the wrong sauce, and dry chicken that my toddler had trouble chewing. And the last time we went, our burgers were so dry, they tasted as if they were made 2 days ago, and had soggy lettuce and mushy buns. Not even my toddler wanted more than one bite, and i doubt it was coincidence that my stomach has been messed up since i ate the food yesterday. I will never go there again. Its not worth it. Only God knows why they were even allowed to build that place there. Marietta used to be something that its just not anymore bc of places like that coming in and pooping all over.
