Drive through service was great! I went yesterday and at the end of a lunch rush. When I first drove by line was long but moving. When I came back, line was smaller and still moving. Staff was friendly and food was super hot and fresh. I got the 4.99 plate with the Charbroiled Chicken Cheesy style (bacon and fried onions). It came with a corn dog and fries ( you can choose other sides). I loved it, first time coming to any Cookout Location and I will definitely be back. Would post a picture but the food went so fast it would be a picture of nothing but an empty box. Oh, the only drawback was actually getting TO the place. Food... blah, milkshake... blah, service... blah. So 3 blahs equal 3 stars. From start to finish the entire transaction took about 15 minutes. Most of that time was spent waiting to get to the intercom then once at the intercom 3 additional minute wait. Mind you the line isn't long at all. I went around 3:30. only 1 car ahead of me at the intercom and 1 at the window for a very long time. Okay no biggie. I order from the cookout tray menu a big double burger, double fry and a chocolate chip cherry milkshake. Once I arrived to the window I wasn't greeted by the representative instead he continued to talk to other employees and take orders without recognizing/greeting me to even say one moment (the window was wide open) so therefore when I got there and seen that I spoke. No answer strike 1. After taking 2 additional orders he finally recognizes me and still doesn't greet me instead he just tells me my total. Hmm... so I give him my card and pay for the food. He hands me my bag then says "Hold on wait I have to make the shake!" Okkkkk so I wait about a minute or 2 before the employee he was talking to hands me my shake. She then ask "did he give you your spoon and straw?" I informed her he did in which she responds "Aight bet". Excuse me?!?! Strike 2. Sitting in the drive thru I decided to take a quick peak at my order the burger was wrapped but the fries were laid out in the container. I order a double fry what I received was 1 side of fries. I then move out of the line to examine the rest of my food and attempt to drink my shake. The straw provided was not wide enough for the thick shake to fit through. No problem for me I like mines thick and not runny good thing there really was a spoon in the bag. So I get my spoon out as I'm eyeing my shake. I dig in and taste! BLAND WHAT A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! Terrible customer service. Every time I go here the service gets worse and worse. They tried to charge me $10 for a cookout tray and a small vanilla milkshake. I have loved Cook Out for a long time, and was excited to have one close by! Unfortunately, this location doesn't seem to care about the quality of their product. Three visits now, each one worse than the last. That's what I get for optimism. What happened tonight finally inspired me to get a Yelp account, though. Here's what went down: I ordered a Cook Out tray (entree, two sides, and a drink). They gave me two (small...) onion rings for one of my sides. They put the styrofoam container of Cole Slaw in my bag unsealed, so the juice spilled out all over everything else (including the seat of my car as it soaked through the bag). Good thing they put those napkins in there too, they soaked up a little bit of it in the bag. And to top it off - my burger was cold when I unwrapped it in the car. Not even sure how that's possible if it were actually cooked fresh. The bottle of water was good, so...silver lining. Don't know who this manager is, but...they've got some serious problems at this location. I'm annoyed that Yelp even made me give them one star. AVOID. read more

Our family loves Cook Out but this location needs work. We had to clean our table when we walked in (table and booth was very dirty). I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and it was dirty and needed to be serviced. The trash cans were overflowing. We ordered our food and then I went to the train station and when I went to get my drink I noticed there was black mold all over both drink machines. So I opted not to get a drink. I then went to get our condiments and napkins and when I grabbed a couple catchup packets they were covered in some yellow slimy stuff. Gross! Two of the teenagers we were with enjoyed their food which is why I gave it a two star but I was very disappointed in the food. I ordered a cheeseburger and they put a nacho cheese sauce on it! Ok, let's begin with the bad. The order taker was taking my order and trying to help me navigate the most confusing menu I have ever seen. No "order by number" here. Then she stopped mid order to turn around and flirt with the cook for a minute before taking the rest of my order. She never asked me if it was for here or to go, I guess they just assumed it was and bagged it when I was eating in. Then the cook came out with the bag and called my number and I got up and walked to the counter 20 feet away and claimed it but there was no drink. The cook then went back in and I stood there for like 2 minutes waiting on my shake. Then I open the bag and there are NO napkins and NO ketchup! And, to my shock, none in the restaurant either! So you gotta go back up and wait in line again for napkins. Then I notice I am served Bible verses with my fries. Except the verses are wrong. It doesn't say "God Bless America" anywhere in the Bible. The Bible was wrote before America was ever heard of. If the business is that religious, why are they open on Sundays?? At least Chick Fill A keeps to their religious beliefs and is closed on Sundays. Then I go to drink the vanilla shake and I can't drink it. It is so hard that all I can do is eat it. This is a great place to get a healthy portion picnic type food. The hamburger was grilled to smokey perfection. They have these shakes that are to die for. I had the peach cobbler shake and I kid you not, it had the top and bottom crust in it. I had to use a spoon because it is pretty hard to slurp a peach up the straw. All and all it was a filling meal that makes you wish that you had room for more. My hamburger had condiments I didn't ask for and I was given the wrong milk shake. Hubby ate his sandwich and rings then went back to get my order corrected. He returned home with my original order still in the Styrofoam takeout box and my "corrected" burger in a small paper sack and my "double rings" order in an additional paper sack. My double order of rings was FOUR onion rings. My chocolate shake must have had 1 cup of Hershey's syrup added to it and was so bad I just poured it down the drain. I had a burger with cajun fries and onion rings which was better than other fast food restaurants by a landslide. My husband had a burger with fries and chili and my son a hotdog. At the end of the meal we ordered a milkshake which while delicious, was so thick it took a long time to get to a consistency to go through the straw. Good food, fast service, and friendly staff. Restaurant and bathrooms appeared clean. The kids liked all the milkshake choices, though if you have several in your order it is easy for the staff to get them mixed up. This happened to us, but wasn't the end of the world. Maybe we need to know when you start "getting ready to close" because apparently that's when you're actually closed? And aren't you open til 4:00?
