This is a small restaurant located in Marietta Marketplace alongside many other different style restaurants. I've been to many of the restaurants here but hands down if you want a hamburger this is the place. I was craving a chili burger with mustard and onions and they made it perfect. The young lady at the counter was friendly, professional and accommodating. Excellent customer service! Came to Marietta Square Market on a Sunday evening and we were surprised by how packed it was. Not a bad thing at all. It's very family friendly and even great for meeting with friends or a date so long as you can find seating. This Lucky's location sits inside of Marietta Square Market and is prime location inside in the large dining hall. There are a couple other Lucky's around the city in Brookhaven and Roswell, but this is their only food hall spot, as the others are full service Lucky's. I have chowed down on a few burgers from Lucky's Brookhaven, so naturally when I noticed they were part of MSM, I had to make it point to swing by! My go-to burger is the Undertaker, not only because I am a wrestling fan, but because of the bacon, cheese, onion straws and fried egg! It is a classic burger made a bit messy with the perfectly cooked egg...delish! Another favorite is the Mixed Breed, for when I am feeling a little spicy! The blue cheese balances the hot sauce out perfectly. If burgers aren't your thing they do have a few other sandwiches, chicken tenders, salads, etc... A few other things I always enjoy are sides and starters...I always side my burgers with either tots or onion rings, as I am not a massive fry fella. The onion rings are large and the tots are always fried perfectly crisp! Starter wise, we usually skip when we come to Lucky's, but one thing I recently tried here was the Fried Pimiento Cheese bites- these things were good size and one of the cheesiest things I have ever eaten! They are fried well with a crispy exterior and gooey inside, plus topped with a red pepper jelly. They were tasty, but a little much for me. Service has always been solid at this location. They are always friendly and as expedient as they can be inside a busy food hall. Overall, it is great to have a Lucky's located on this side of the city! I have been on the search for a decent burger spot and one with options where it doesn't just have beef. So I decided to check out Lucky's. I chose to visit the Marietta location as it is closer to me in mileage than Brookhaven but I should have looked at other considerations that I will mention. I decided to place my order online and go pick it up over the weekend. I head out to pick it up and I had to drive a different way there due to construction on 75. So it took me longer to get there than expected. At that point I regretted visiting this location. One I arrived, I realized the place is inside Marietta Square which was a complete cluster on a Sunday with a nearby event. I couldn't find parking when i arrived and there was no wait zones. I ended up have to park further away and walk over. When I went inside, I'm convinced the amount of people in there was over capacity. It was chaotic. And someone ran into me with hot soup. I grabbed my food which WAS NOT sitting under a good warmer. So my food was cold and soggy by the time I got it. If it was under a warmer, it could've been saved. I had to pay for parking, food and waste an hour of my time trying to get it. It may better to visit the other location or not on a weekday. But at this point, I'm not sure if I could recommend. read more

I've eaten at the Lucky's over in Roswell many times before, so I knew what to expect from the menu, and I was really craving a burger. Since I'm not eating out anywhere (not even this great food court), I've only occasionally ordered anything, and even then I'm only ordering take-out or to go foods to be safe. If you go to the Lucky's website, you can order anything you want on their menu, and you can completely customize your burger from temp cooked to toppings. My favorite is to order the pimento cheese ball on top of the burger (the Dawg Burger) because it just adds the perfect amount of flavor and cheese to an already wonderful burger. You can also sub out for a turkey burger or impossible meat if that's your vibe, but as a solid meat eater, the plain burger is always just the perfect amount of juicy. I also love their tots (perfectly crisp), fries, and sweet potato fries, so I always have a hard time ordering from them because I can never choose, but good tots are often the hardest to find, so that's typically what I order. This location is about 15 minutes from where I work so I like ordering on the website then driving over to pick it up, and all of my coworkers love when I order there so they can get something too... there really is no going wrong on this menu. For pick up, you can go inside, or you can call when you get there and they'll bring it right out to your car. I love this service and I love that they're always safe in their masks and gloves. My first introduction to Lucky's is via the Georgia Dawg Pounder. I simply cannot say enough great things about this particular Burger. So I will give you two things. First, I always enjoy a nice burger that is made with real beef and second the fried pimento cheese on top is to die for. Next time I'll have see if I can just order a fried pimento cheese. Anyway, the pairing of this with pepper jelly was surprisingly amazing. I'm not a huge fry person, however, the fries were good. The fries served with the lunch special were crisp and plentiful. I was visiting town during quarantine (not by choice, mind you) and a friend and I stopped at Marietta square market for a bite to eat- Last time I was in Marietta, this wasn't here at all! But because of the lockdown only three or four places in this food court was open- naturally I take my hungry self and go straight towards the one closest to the door. I got their nacho plate and it was perfect- my friend ordered me some deep fried cheese balls to try because nothing says "welcome back to the south" like consuming something deep fried and breaded that should probably not exist in any culinary repertoire lol. It wasn't bad though! The staff were nice enough (but clearly at the same energy level as everyone else being forced to work during all this, myself included) and I'll definitely come back next time I'm in town and there isn't an entire global health crisis. read more

The Pedigree Burger is amazing but their served it with cold fries. Fries, guys, should never be cold. I had such high hopes after I returned for dinner after getting dinner a couple of nights before at Tandoori Square just around the corner from them at Marietta Square Market. The Parmesan and Parsley were real and would've been accentuated even more by hot, crispy fries, but I was slightly disappointed that they were served cold. This place must be banging because there was a long line to even order, not to mention once I arrived to the front, I was told that it'd be a minimum 20 minute wait for food. But today, May 28th, being national burger day, I had to indulge in the American tradition of eating a beefy burger. I order the Cadillac burger because I absolutely love queso. The two patties could be a little less over done despite being told on the menu that the burgers will be done medium unless specified. But the queso was really good. And it paired so well with the bacon's saltiness to bring out the flavor of the queso even more. The fresh and crispy lettuce help wash down every creamy bite. Love this place, it was so easy to order on line, CALL AFTER I ARRIVED and get curb side pick up. No need to park my car and/ or come inside. They are doing a top notch job serving the public during the covid pandemic. The staff is wearing face masks and gloves. They are so friendly and the food is fantastic. Lucky's has some very good quality food. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are very good the service is actually horrible though. The first time i went I waited 45 minutes for a burger. I understood because the place was insanely packed, but today the place was empty absolutely no line and I waited atleast 40 minutes for a a fried chicken sandwich. This was completely unacceptable. They gave me a voucher for a free burger but there is no reason this should have occurred. With that being said I will likely give them another chance and hopefully be able to give them a better review. read more

This Lucky's burger and brew location is in the newly built Marietta square market. We have been to other locations, Brookhaven ones, multiple times. They were standalone restaurants and very welcome dogs to their sets. This location has free parkings available which has a limit of 2 hours, or valet parking. This location has been opened for almost 3 weeks, it has been very popular during their operation hours, it can be tricky to find parkings some times. Please visit Marietta square market website. This Lucky's location was very popular during the opening week, the waiting was 30-45 minutes to get your food. We really enjoyed Georgia Dawg Pounder, with fried pimento cheese and their special red pepper chili sauce. Their fries was thin and crunchy. However, they were came out cold and that is why I remove one star. We haven't been to all the restaurants in this location yet. We probably will go back for some other options. read more

I'm gradually trying to make my way around the Marketplace. Today's selection was Lucky's Burger and Brew. I've driven by the Roswell location for years. I've always wanted to give it a try but never stopped in. After all ... there are lots of hamburger places... Right? Well was I ever wrong. I ordered the Bluetick Hound and Onion Rings. This burger was amazing. It was juicy and not greasy. It was exploding with flavor and clearly very fresh meat and vegetables (lettuce/tomato). The onion rings were really onions. And were perfectly fried with a side of dipping sauce. It was a huge amount of food and the only guilt is that I ate it all. It was just that good. The staff is friendly and top notch. Mine was almost raw in the center but I'd already taken a couple bites when I discovered it and the mushy center ruined my appetite.
