Chili burger with tots
Bill D.

This is a small restaurant located in Marietta Marketplace alongside many other different style restaurants. I've been to many of the restaurants here but hands down if you want a hamburger this is the place. I was craving a chili burger with mustard and onions and they made it perfect. The young lady at the counter was friendly, professional and accommodating. Excellent customer service! I'm not usually big on these restaurant enclaves with the communal seating and all but there are a couple tables off by the windows. Parking is not free.

Came to Marietta Square Market on a Sunday evening and we were surprised by how packed it was. Not a bad thing at all. It's very family friendly and even great for meeting with friends or a date so long as you can find seating. Our large group of 15 were able to snag seats together with a little bit of patience and watching. My burger was great. Ordering was easy and they texted me once it was ready for pickup. It was cooked perfectly - I would definitely return.

Was looking for a place to eat in the Food Hall and Lucky's was the only place open. I was very pleasantly surprised with this burger. It was absolutely delicious! It was a great portion, juicy, ingredients tasted fresh, and it was just an overall great burger. The only reason I gave them a 3 is because of the service. When ordering my meal I asked what type of alcohol they served. And the person taking my order said "We don't" *then he pointed to a separate bar across diagonal to the restaurant* this usually wouldn't bother me, but the name of the restaurant is called Lucky's Burgers and BREWS... Great burger so I will be back. You're welcome!

This Lucky's location sits inside of Marietta Square Market and is prime location inside in the large dining hall. There are a couple other Lucky's around the city in Brookhaven and Roswell, but this is their only food hall spot, as the others are full service Lucky's. I have chowed down on a few burgers from Lucky's Brookhaven, so naturally when I noticed they were part of MSM, I had to make it point to swing by! My go-to burger is the Undertaker, not only because I am a wrestling fan, but because of the bacon, cheese, onion straws and fried egg! It is a classic burger made a bit messy with the perfectly cooked egg...delish! Another favorite is the Mixed Breed, for when I am feeling a little spicy! The blue cheese balances the hot sauce out perfectly. If burgers aren't your thing they do have a few other sandwiches, chicken tenders, salads, etc... A few other things I always enjoy are sides and starters...I always side my burgers with either tots or onion rings, as I am not a massive fry fella. The onion rings are large and the tots are always fried perfectly crisp! Starter wise, we usually skip when we come to Lucky's, but one thing I recently tried here was the Fried Pimiento Cheese bites- these things were good size and one of the cheesiest things I have ever eaten! They are fried well with a crispy exterior and gooey inside, plus topped with a red pepper jelly. They were tasty, but a little much for me. Service has always been solid at this location. They are always friendly and as expedient as they can be inside a busy food hall. Overall, it is great to have a Lucky's located on this side of the city! We have been several times and it will continue to be a stop for us when we visit Marietta Square Market!

My first introduction to Lucky's is via the Georgia Dawg Pounder. I simply cannot say enough great things about this particular Burger. So I will give you two things. First, I always enjoy a nice burger that is made with real beef and second the fried pimento cheese on top is to die for. Next time I'll have see if I can just order a fried pimento cheese. Anyway, the pairing of this with pepper jelly was surprisingly amazing. I'm not a huge fry person, however, the fries were good. The fries served with the lunch special were crisp and plentiful. I look forward to you trying more things on their menu. The service was great and the General Manager is a very nice guy.

Service was fast and friendly. I got The Undertaker which has bacon and a fried egg. All burgers are made medium. Which isn't what I normally go for. Not a fan of my meat being pink on the inside but it was still yummy. A very light pink on the inside. The bun was soft maybe a brioche. I also had the parmesan fries. All of it was really delicious.

Fast and friendly service! Great location with plenty of parking. Food was good. Perfect meeting place to hang out with friends.

I was visiting town during quarantine (not by choice, mind you) and a friend and I stopped at Marietta square market for a bite to eat- Last time I was in Marietta, this wasn't here at all! But because of the lockdown only three or four places in this food court was open- naturally I take my hungry self and go straight towards the one closest to the door. I got their nacho plate and it was perfect- my friend ordered me some deep fried cheese balls to try because nothing says "welcome back to the south" like consuming something deep fried and breaded that should probably not exist in any culinary repertoire lol. It wasn't bad though! The staff were nice enough (but clearly at the same energy level as everyone else being forced to work during all this, myself included) and I'll definitely come back next time I'm in town and there isn't an entire global health crisis.

Pedigree Burger with Parmesan-Parsley Fries
Earl S.

The Pedigree Burger is amazing but their served it with cold fries. Fries, guys, should never be cold. I had such high hopes after I returned for dinner after getting dinner a couple of nights before at Tandoori Square just around the corner from them at Marietta Square Market. The Parmesan and Parsley were real and would've been accentuated even more by hot, crispy fries, but I was slightly disappointed that they were served cold. Cold fries = sitting up for several hours = turn off = not good for business. I loved the burger, but you see the theme here? Please serve your fries hot! :-)

I got the turkey burger and it was definitely a frozen tasteless patty. Fries definitely average. Horrible ketchup packets.

You can just feel the history and imagine what took place in there as you sit and wait for your meal. The staff are all fun and attentive, and our server -- who was also tending bar that day -- was amazing! We were there early enough for the half priced apps, and weren't hungry enough for a full meal. I ordered a side salad with ranch, and we split the smoked nachos. When they came out, it was a huge portion and enough for both my wife and I. The only drawback is that they didn't have any sour cream that we could add to the nachos... It may seem trivial, but I've never needed anyplace that didn't have sour cream for the nachos. Because of that, I will give this a 4.75 stars. We will definitely be back!

It's located in a shopping center (there's a racetrac sharing the area as well) but it's easy to find with the standout signage. We could tell from the parking lot that it wasn't super busy and once we walked in, we were greeted and taken to our table. The waiting area has all sorts of license plates, merch, an area for local businesses to leave cards and kinda gives you a colorful glimpse into the restaurant itself. We were seated in the Front Yard and my kiddos immediately fell in love with the vibrant colors of the decor, the bus that they could see which is located behind the bar area, and they each got a pack of wikki stixs that kept them occupied throughout our time at the table. The decor makes the space super fun, there are plenty do tvs around, and this was just a really family friendly place. Our waiter was attentive and took great care of us. While I was stuck between getting the MMY Patty Melt, I decided to go with the Totally Tubular Turkey Club. My husband got the Buckin' Buffalo, one kiddo opted for a cheeseburger and the other kiddo wanted chicken tenders. It took about 15 mins for the food to come and when it did it looked sooooo delicious. My club was fresh and tasted really good. Bacon, turkey, white American cheese, lettuce, tomato and I guess their house sauce all on sourdough. I loved it and I opted for onion rings instead of tots or fries because I really wanted some and really enjoyed them. The onion rings were not greasy and tasty so good. Everyone enjoyed their food (the kiddos mentioned their fries being a bit salty and after I tried one I agreed) but we were near the pinball room soooo after they finished they were asking if they could go okay games. Before we left the table, I got a cookies n cream milkshake which was sooooo good and came with whipped cream, Oreo crumbles on top and gummy worms. We did visit the pinball room and the kids had a blast. Bring cash to play most of the games but it was fun to see everyone having fun playing games and enjoying their Friday night. Really enjoyed this place and want to come back to try some other items on the menu. Such a cute place!

Unfortunately, as someone who has eaten burgers all over the world the Trucker Burger was disappointing on many levels. First of all, it felt like a misleading description to describe the burger as having two "smash patties". These were definitely not smash patties under the traditional definition in my opinion. The bun was good, but the burger patties themselves were far too plump, lacked bounce, had no caramelization in the edges and were not juicy on the inside. It tasted like a burger you'd find at your neighbor's backyard BBQ with a general lack of flavor and course texture like the lean to fat ratio was off and the burger was cooked on too low a temperature. The staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. Unfortunately, the burger was a let down and extremely overpriced. You're better off going to a fast casual spot like Freddy's where you can get a great smash burger for much less.

I opted out of the arugula that comes on it by default. I also got their mac n' cheese, and a chocolate shake. It may be the way their brisket blend always is, but the burger patty was a bit tough or overcooked compared to what I'm used to with a standard Angus beef burger or steak burger. It also lacked seasoning, but was saved by the goat cheese and jam. The bun was ok, and it was very messy as 3 of my 4 fried green tomatoes slid out immediately along with a healthy portion of goat cheese and jam. I ate at their outdoor seating area so no biggy, but I definitely wouldn't eat this in your car. However, the fried green tomatoes were very good. The mac n cheese was mediocre and the chocolate shake was good but had an overpowering flavor of Hershey's syrup. Even though it was very busy between the cars at the drive thru and delivery drivers waiting for order pickups, my meal came out in about five minutes. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I've eaten burgers all over the world and I would recommend the visit, but it doesn't rank anywhere near my top 25.
