Wtf. I'm never going back Every time I go there there is some kind of issue the fries are soggy the hamburgers are cold So today I go and I get a piece of a lettuce On a cold hamburger and the corn dog is burnt

    Undercooked hamburger

Ordered burger well done. Got home cut into burger and it's pink. Ordered fries no salt. Plenty of salt on fries.

Chocolate Nut Milkshake, Mint Chocolate milkshake and Orange push-pop milkshake.

If you're looking for a quick fast food place during late hours while in the area, this place is decent! Burgers and fries were basic but simple and nicely made! Added a shake and it made the meal even better. I would definitely go back whenever I need a quick simple meal.

Service was quick, and the food was great! They did give us Cajun fries instead of plain, but it was still delicious!

First, the hostess places our menus down, breakfast side up & even though the cutoff was 11, we arrived shortly thereafter so I had hopes that perhaps I could have breakfast vs lunch. I was promptly shut down by our server. I settled on fried clams that came with fries and butter beans. The butter beans had to have been straight out of a can as they had no seasoning or meat flavor. Even after I salted them, they were still flavorless. Our server was kind enough to remove them. The hush puppies and my bestie were the highlight of my lunch. Especially after hearing our server tell Bob's wife that she would see what kind of breakfast she could get the cook to wrangle up for her. Now, don't tell me no and yes to a regular because they threatened to "go somewhere else." That is a direct quote from the regulars (I could hear their conversation because the restaurant wasn't that busy.) Because my fries were under my clams they were soggy and I only ate 4 of them. It pains me to give them such a poor review but neither of us were impressed enough to even want to return. I do commend them for being so community involved & charitable to our western neighbors after the storm. Just wish we had had a better experience.

The fried chicken and pulled pork was the same--minus dry. Just lacked flavor. I attempted to add some bbq sauce to make it more palpable, but alas, I am not a vinegar bbq kinda girl. I'm a dry rub Texas style with sauce on the side--THICK FULL BODIED SAUCE. So if you're like me, and hankering for that style bbq, this isn't the place for you. The baked beans were solid. The mashed potatoes were uhhhh.... Probably dehydrated? I'd try potato salad next time instead. (For reference, I'm a simple mashed potatoes person--Idaho potatoes only, salt, butter, and evaporated milk... smooosh smoooosh smooooosh til thick, fluffy, and no chunks--so if that's you too.... You will be disappointed a tad bit.) They were tasty though, so I'll give em that. Husband said his prime rib sandwich special was solid and that I would have loved it. Blast him! lol

Yo, the internet homies steered me wrong! Shame on y'all!…read more I got the shrimp burger with smoked gouda mac and cheese. The shrimp were criminally overcooked, and the mac needed salt in the worst way. They didn't salt the pasta water (or salt it enough), and the mac was really sad, as a result. My friend got the soup of the day combo, which were were told was a "white bean and basil soup", but I'll be danged if it didn't come out with the most garbanzo-y looking white beans I've ever seen in my life. She said it tasted like they dumped rotel, chickpeas, and pesto into a pot and called it soup, and not in a good way. My wife got the smoked wings. She said the flavor was good, but they were brought out lukewarm and very lightly sauced (she's an extra saucy kind of lady). We got two cocktails, a cherry limeade slushie and a Kill Devil Hills Pain Killer. We were told the cherry limeade was made with just cherry mixer, lime, and vodka, but it definitely tasted like it had coconut in it, and my wife hates coconut. The Pain Killer I got was acceptable, but we ordered it with our food, and it didn't come out until I'd almost finished my dinner. The vibes in the place were meh, but fine (especially if the food/drinks were good), but the tables were extremely sticky across their entire surface, so either someone sucks at cleaning, or the finish on the tables was failing and needed to be sanded down/refinished. We did get a side of sweet potato fries that were pretty dope, but they didn't make up for the disappointment of everything else. 1 out of 5 stars; do not recommend.

We were here around 9:30 on a Saturday and waited about 40 minutes, but that flew by because we were able to go sit in their coffee/mimosa bar area and wait to be paged. The vibes in both spaces are pretty classic beach diner. It's a relaxed but busy atmosphere. Our waiter was super attentive and kind and we didn't feel rushed despite how busy they were. I had the Land and Sea Benedict, which comes on a giant biscuit and has fried green tomatoes, eggs done your way, shrimp, Cajun gravy, and bacon crumbles. I am particular about biscuits and this one was excellent (soft without being doughy, appropriately crumbly without falling apart). The tomatoes were super crispy without being overly greasy. My over-easy eggs were perfect, as were the shrimp, and the gravy was excellent. The grits I had with it really lived up to their reputation of being smooth and creamy, with no need for butter. My mom had the "Kitchen Sink" omelet, and very much enjoyed it. The ingredients were fresh and nothing was over or under done, which can be hard with such a variety of ingredients. The home fries that came with it were terrifically crispy. I also appreciate that they make their own hot sauce, as well as the mix for their Bloody Mary (which my mom also loved) I enjoyed my peach mimosa and got a kick out of all of the different flavor options. I'd love to explore their lunch menu too. I'll definitely frequent again next time I'm out this way!

There were very few customers and only one guy who seated and served everyone. Very friendly, and professional. I ordered fresh spring rolls as an appetizer and tried to make a decision for my main course from the very bountiful menu. I chose the small Bun Bo Hue (Hue Beef Noodle Soup). My spring rolls came and they were stuffed with the freshest veggies I've ever received in a spring roll. There was also shrimp and pork, but the star was the veg. The peanut sauce was excellent but I would have loved about a teaspoon more of it for those 2 plump rolls. The main course arrived very quickly and it was much larger than I had pictured. No way I could eat a large portion. It was accompanied by a plate of shaved onion, jalapeños, and bean sprouts and an impressive amount of fresh Thai basil. It was all very good and I can't wait to go back and try something new. Leaning toward the Shrimp Udon. The menu has been updated since the pictures on this site were taken and has more selections.

Unassuming signage and location, the blackout windows are deceptive because the interior is spacious and clean. Quick service by the attentive staff. Huge portions that reminded me of home. I tried the spring rolls and beef pho. Bean sprouts and lime to accompany the meal, along with sriracha and hoisin sauce to add more flavor to the nice clear broth. Great texture for the rice noodles, and tender beef pieces and meatballs. The spring rolls tasted fresh, as well, and the peanut sauce was good. Once our food was served, I heard nothing but slurps for like 10 minutes straight.
