Outstanding experience. I thoroughly enjoyed what I tried. This was my first visit and I will definitely be going back. Ambiance was very nice, relaxed, and clean. There were very few customers and only one guy who seated and served everyone. Very friendly, and professional. I ordered fresh spring rolls as an appetizer and tried to make a decision for my main course from the very bountiful menu. I chose the small Bun Bo Hue (Hue Beef Noodle Soup). My spring rolls came and they were stuffed with the freshest veggies I've ever received in a spring roll. There was also shrimp and pork, but the star was the veg. The peanut sauce was excellent but I would have loved about a teaspoon more of it for those 2 plump rolls. The main course arrived very quickly and it was much larger than I had pictured. No way I could eat a large portion. It was accompanied by a plate of shaved onion, jalapeños, and bean sprouts and an impressive amount of fresh Thai basil. It was all very good and I can't wait to go back and try something new. Leaning toward the Shrimp Udon. 4.5 stars! One of the best meals I ate in North Carolina. This pho restaurant was 'gas' and on-par with anything I've had out here in SoCal. Unassuming signage and location, the blackout windows are deceptive because the interior is spacious and clean. Quick service by the attentive staff. Huge portions that reminded me of home. I tried the spring rolls and beef pho. Bean sprouts and lime to accompany the meal, along with sriracha and hoisin sauce to add more flavor to the nice clear broth. Great texture for the rice noodles, and tender beef pieces and meatballs. The spring rolls tasted fresh, as well, and the peanut sauce was good. I would love to leave a 5 star review as the food is amazing but unfortunately the service is terrible! The server/host that stands by the register is not even the slightest bit kind. He never checks on the table and if you have any questions he is always rude about it. He's even worse when ordering over the phone. It's so unfortunate because if they hired just one more person that knew basic manners and could be the even slightest bit kind I'm sure there would be many more returning customers. read more

The ambiance was nice. The food left much to be desired. Eggrolls, very wet vegetables, little pork, and extremely oily, perhaps because of the wet vegetables it took longer to fry. The Banh Mi filling was skimpy and pretty tasteless. The service was nonexistent as the server stood behind the host station and only checked long after the meal was served. I have been to this location a few times. The food was amazing so we came back a couple times even though the service of the same Guy wasn't amazing. However the last visit was the last time we will ever go. It was busier than usual and was on a Sunday but the food was so good we have ignored the bad service before. The server as always been the same younger man with glasses who seem to be the main server who takes your order and works the cash register. This visit we had asked for some extra cilantro and he seemed annoyed that we asked because they were busy. When we placed the order we asked for extra cilantro and jalapeños and we had to remind him which was fine but he came back with just Jalapeños so we asked again for cilantro now this last part is the wildest thing to happen! He went back to the kitchen and came back with a handful of cilantro and threw it on a plate that was already on our table. He had no glove on said nothing and walked to the other table to give them their food. I have never experienced such rudeness. This is someone who I don't know where there hand have been to just throw cilantro on a plate on my table with no glove then made me wonder how my meal was prepared and if it was handled in the same manner. I am beyond excited! My husband and I stopped into Pho Viet for lunch today! They are located in Morehead city and just opened taking over the location where fiesta burrito used to be...... my husband had the Korean pork ribs with fried rice. It was amazingly tender and super flavorful. I had the BahnMi pork sandwich with all the fresh veggies. It was amazing. I have not had one since leaving San Diego five years ago! our waiter was super friendly and personable and the place is nice and clean! The only thing that could make this better is if they would've put the restaurant closer to our house in Beaufort!!!!! I cannot wait to go back to try their fried chicken or their noodle dishes!!!! a little warm right now for Pho for me!!!!! read more

Ordered teriyaki chicken with steamed rice. This was a delivery order. Received a dollop of tough chicken pieces with vegetables with absolutely no sauce on a pile of fried rice. There was a small container of pink salad dressing included. No teriyaki in sight!Completely disappointed. read more

Everything was great, especially the pad Thai, peanut sauce, and the broth in the Pho.

IMO Best pho around. We drove about an hour to try Pho Viet and believe me the drive was well worth it. We tried both the traditional beef pho (rare beef) and vegetarian pho. Both broths were super yummy and took us back to our favorite phos from NYC's Chinatown. Both were full of flavor and noodles. Phos were accompanied by fresh bean sprouts, basil, lime wedges, and jalapeño slices. Service was great too. We enjoyed getting to know about the restaurant. I forgot to mention we also tried the fresh spring rolls. Their peanut sauce and nuoc Cham were also spot on for flavor. Do not miss this restaurant if you're close by. Slipped into this new restaurant for a quick lunch I was not disappointed! I am not very familiar with Vietnamese but the layout of the menu with good photos made it easy to navigate. I chose the bbq pork and shrimp with rice noodles and salad. There were two sauces, one peanut based the other a slightly sweet vinegar based one. My serving was large enough to take almost half home. The service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive. read more

OMG - Vietnamese food in Morehead City! Amazing! I have eaten here twice - once inside and once takeout. Both times the food was fresh and delicious. I had Pho for my restaurant visit and it was excellent and the barbecued pork and prawn noodles takeout. Highly recommend both dishes. read more

No good. Both my partner and I got the chicken pho when we went last week. Although it did come with all of the proper sides, the soup itself had absolutely no flavor and lacked in portion size. This bowl of pho; for the quality, taste, and portion was nowhere near worth the 18.95$. We were served by a young man who proceeded to interact with us through the entire meal. He was trying to be funny by using mockery of others to impress us. As well as making comments about our personal lives when we gave him any ounce of insight to a question he had no business asking in the first place. The restaurant itself was clean. That is the only good note I have to offer. Overall I do not recommend this restaurant whatsoever. read more

We came here for lunch. It is pricey for the Pho but the Banh-mi was only $7 and was perfect for lunch. I wish that they offered more Banh-mi options. My husband and son both enjoyed the Pho medium bowls and couldn't finish it. Wish I had taken a picture before we finished. We will be back. read more

My wife and I live in MHC now after moving from Richmond, VA which had a large population of Vietnamese restaurants and people so we know good pho and not sure about the one bad review but my Pho broth was tasty and the meat seasoned. Have been here twice. First time - pho broth was very bland. Portions were way too small for the price. Second time - broth was delicious. Prizes were adjusted but the portions are still extremely small for price. Husband got the large portion and I got the medium portion.
