This is a great cook out location. My service is always fast. We come here like twice a week when we're having a busy or stressful week because the food is comforting to me. The ice is amazing, the taste of the coke is usually incredible. And the chicken strips are cooked perfectly. Every now and then they have a bad day, maybe a bad shift for one of the cooks? You can tell because on those days the coke tastes off and the food is overcooked or all tastes like onions. BUT that's like maybe once a month out of our many visits. Most of the time they are consistent, delicious. I will say, I do not like ordering milkshakes from this location ironically. They don't mix them well or put enough flavor in them. They are pretty bad. Our usual includes chicken strips, cheese bites, and corn dogs, sometimes fries or a burger. So good. Typically for fast food chains like this, it's more about the experience because each place sells the same food. We literally got no napkins, no straws, and no spoons for our order after ordering lots of food, sodas, and milkshakes. Then we ended up going back because I asked for a cheddar style burger with no mayo and add raw onions in addition to the grilled. I only received grilled onions. I went back and it took 4 people for me to get my new sandwich and it was still wrong. I received only grilled onions and they were semi-raw. I still can't understand what was so hard about adding a slab of raw onions to the sandwich... one of our milkshakes were also wrong. The Oreo mint had no mint! Have frequented this location several times. Food is typically good and correct. However, just had the worst customer service experience. A terribly long wait. The drive thru speaker wasn't working properly and when we drove up and said "Hi" to the person taking our money and giving us milkshakes, she did not respond but rolled her eyes! We then said thank-you after she asked if we wanted a receipt and we confirmed that we did, she sucked her teeth and begrudgingly gave it to us without a word. I've eaten here twice and it's always been pretty good. The burgers and fries are tasty and they have decent hush puppies. The milkshakes are fantastic. I'm docking a star mostly because of how overwhelmingly big the menu is - especially for a drive-thru place. I think the whole Cook-Out Experience could be improved if they took a page from the west coast's In-n-Out, chopping the menu down to a more manageable size. We came to the Cookout because of the good food at an affordable price. 7 of us spent more than $40. One of my family members and my son being an employee there was standing at the window getting our food and asked the manager Kevin for some sauce. He didn't acknowledge my sons request and proceeded to slam the window in my son and my sister's face. He returned to the window with drinks and tossed the 2 sauces at my son and slammed the window again. My son politely tapped on the window to ask for more sauces and straws and Kevin put his hand up in my sons face. My son again tapped on the window and stated we purchased 7 trays and needed more sauces. Kevin proceeded to open the window and give him 3 sauces and stated in a rather ignorant tone "have a nice day", slammed the window and I could see him continue to utter words that I could not hear. First, whatever issues the management has is not the problem of the customer. I feel like we were treated rudely, and the management was completely unprofessional. Second, whatever issues my son and Kevin may have are "work related" and at the time we were there my son was a paying customer just like everyone else. Finally after this experience I will not be taking my family to this Cookout because of the unprofessional management. Dude, I loooove cookout! This place gets busy quick during lunch hour, and they're usually pretty good about keeping drive thru times down - usually. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there have been just a few too many times that drive.through waits have been HORRIBLE. I mean, we're taking about 10 and 15 minutes ... And that's after I've ordered. I think there's definite room for improvement they can manage with the right things addressed. It's rare that there is a mess up or item left out, which is common for drive thrus. It would be nice if they had tables outside to eat at, but there is no space for it anyway. Used to love going here. Great food and fast service. The service has been going down hill alot lately. I decided to start using the 2nd drive thru as my only choice for ordering since the girls running the 1st one are just rude. Well today 8/30 I wanted get an order for myself and a friend. Only 1 car in the 2nd drive thru none in the 1st. When I pulled up the lady was there maybe 3 minutes but she did something odd. She had her took car out of park and then just left, not stopping to pick up any food. Okay then I pull up. I sat there 8 minutes. No one acknowledged me. I pulled around to the 2nd drive thru window and asked if they were closed. She wouldn't look at me so I drove off. Thank you Hardee's for providing service in less than 5 minutes. read more
