When we visited the service was very slow even though there were only 3 other customers at the time. The kids running the place didn't seem to be very interested in what they were doing. Came to Cook Out for the first time with family. It was very good. One member of our party decided to get the chicken and it was very tender. The hamburgers were juicy, and very tasty. The hush puppies were great, and so were the French fries and onion rings. One member in our group opted for a milkshake and another for a malt. Both were very thick. This location has been on a decline for a while now. I would personally avoid this location unless you are really craving cookout no matter the quality. The time waiting on your food is unpredictable. You could fly through or take 30 minutes with little to no line. The workers are not rude, but do not have the best people skills. They either don't talk/ respond, or mumble their words quietly. The food is just okay for for cheap fast food. I've head better at different locations but this location is hit or miss, and it's a miss more often. The inside dinning is decent. Tables are wiped down but leave streaks of used water on them. The trash cans are always overflowing. My biggest complaint on the inside is they have taken away the drink machine, sauces, ketchups, ect. since covid. You now have to go back to the front and wait on someone to give you refills or the little ketchup packets, while still not being the best hosts. In conclusion, there's better food options and locations unless your really craving cookout that's near by. I had the worst experience at Cookout yesterday. I got to the little window in the front of the store at 11pm last night, there were a few people in line waiting to place their orders. The young lady, light complexion black female was taking orders and then she would close the window and head to the kitchen. It was weird. Then, she started flirting with a young man in the line and spent time with him as about 10 of us waited to place our orders. At about 11:30, I still never placed my order cause this cashier kept going to the kitchen and closed the window. But, what was truly disrespectful was that she closed the window and never came back or told us the window was closed. So, 10 of us got in our cars and drove off. Brand new location in Snellville. I've been to several Cookouts, but my wife hasn't ever been until today. We were both excited to check it out. It was pretty busy, but I would expect that on opening weekend. The food was good, but we had a couple hiccups. We were charged for 3 milkshakes instead of 2. No big deal; they refunded us. Our milkshakes though (both Reese's Cup) were way short on the... Reese's Cup aspect. They were pretty much vanilla ice cream with hints of some remnants of a single Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. I'm confident they'll find their way as they work through the growing pains of a brand new store. We'll definitely be back in the future to check it out. read more

Absolutely terrible. Frustrating to say the least. No high chairs, they were there before the pandemic and refused to get them out. I assume because of laziness. Understaffed and the personnel were rude, not sensitive to others, and just there to take a check. Needs better management and training. The length of time to order was 30 minutes and the wait for food was another 15. 90% of time the cashier wasn't at the cashier. Maybe it was a bad day but they absolutely missed it. I give it 2 stars for value and took off 1 for slow drive thru. They actually had girls writing orders chik fila style and then relaying that inside. They had man directing the busy traffic. After a while i paid and took food home. I loved the burger, like a burger off the grill you microwave at someones bbq to melt your cheese. It was really good in a ghetto way. My daughter definitely didn't like her hushpuppies (too dark) or nuggets (again overcooked) my corn dog was very brown too like maybe they need to change the fryers already? ? My husband and I went yesterday for the first time. The food wasn't bad considering the price. $5 for a burger, 2 sides and a drink. I got a burger with chicken quesadilla and onion rings with a cheesecake shake. The hamburger was good for the price, but it tasted like it had been sitting too long. The grease of the meat was soaked into the bun and the lettuce was wilted. The chicken quesadilla was ok, it was meh, but it's a burger place, not a Mexican place. My husband got a burger, chicken nuggets and chicken wrap. The nuggets were those cheapie ones from the frozen dept from your local walmart. The spongy type chicken nuggets. The milkshakes are good, but sweet. The small looked about 16 Oz and about half of that was enough for me. The wait time for food was a little longer than normal for a fast food place. I believe in being fair and even giving second chances to correct issues and concerns but over a year later there is no change. Here is the good part, of this review; for a fast food place they have a wide selection to choose from at a reasonable cost. However, the customer service clearly has not been addressed or maybe it's a prerequisite to employment. A year ago I had the worst customer service experience to the point I was too scared to continue with my order for fear my food would be tampered with as the very immature person taking my order was yelling and kept cutting me off as I was placing my order. Today, 5/3/2021 at 11:15pm I decided to give them another chance, well to my disappointment I was met with the same impatient, rude, poor customer service. I placed a tray order with two sides and sweet tea and milkshake. The rude person taking order ask if I want another milkshake because she kept cutting me off so I replied one milkshake. At the pick up window I received my tray and a kiddie size milkshake. I thought that's odd ( with a raised eyebrow). Attempted to get the girls attention, tapped my horn she never turn around. I walked up to the walk up window. Ask a different employee for the missing sweet tea. She brinks back a receipt asking if that's my order. I said no drive thru attendant didn't take the order as I requested and would like my tea. She then offered a less than friendly customer service attitude. So I came back again today to give them a second chance, and I have been sitting in the drive-through for exactly 42 minutes, while the traffic creeps around the drive-through. The only reason I stayed is because I was on a conference call and didn't realize how much time had passed. When I approached the window, again there was lots of goofing off and unprofessionalism.
