I was disappointed with, pretty much everything, except the food. I could not understand anything the cashier said. It took about 5 minutes per order. Every table was dirty and I never saw an employee come out to clean them. I did see other customers clean the tables they wanted to sit at, but not one employee. One would think that during the lunchtime rush hours, they would keep the tables clean. The food was good, once it finally came out though. However, I would rather have ok food and great service than the other way around. This restaurant will not be on my regular restaurant list. read more

Best restaurant in town. I love their blueberry cheesecake milkshake. They have cheap food, but well made. We do not yet have these in New England. So these are a treat for us whenever we come south for a visit. read more

The workers there are nice and welcoming, but unfortunately, the food is gross. I've been here twice--one to order their bbq pork sandwich and the second time, I ordered the chicken tenders w/ french fries (added some cajun seasoning) along with a pork sandwich & nuggets (It was for someone else). The chicken fingers were flavorless, meaning the breading just tasted like flour, so it was hard for me to finish all three pieces. C'mon man, how can you screw up chicken tenders? The pork sandwich was subpar at best and lacked any bbq sauce, and I fed the chicken nuggets to my dog because they were /that/ bad. What's good at cookout? Definitely the sodas. read more

I don't really like the food here to begin with. I am not really a big fast food junkie anyway. There were just soooo many cars that I thought it had to be amazing. Wrong! It is a new spot and everyone is just excited. The area is small and have a lot of run of the mill commercial franchises. So a new spot just drives everyone crazy! Opening week the line was out to Scenic Hwy. My advice is to check it out during a time that is not busy. That way you are not waiting in line for a big let down. After working a long 12 hour shift, I decided to go to cookout "on scenic highway Sunday night" for a meal. When I arrived. The lady taking orders at the drive thru was VERY RUDE & VERY IMPATIENT. While we were ordering she had a very bad attitude when responding. Mid way through ordering my sister and I had to cancel our order because we didn't feel secure about our food being dealt with caution. I do not like leaving reviews but this is the third time I've tried giving this restaurant a chance but it's always a horrible experience. I would hope to see improvements in the future if I ever decide to go back. read more

This place is pretty cheap and decent for what you pay for. I know in the beginning their service was a little slower but now it's not bad. Of course it's busy during the rush hours. I always get the cheese fries and hot dog with cheese. My daughter loves their corn dogs. I also like their ice in the coke machine. It's that really small ice. My favorite! I give this place a 4. The food is decent for the price and the service is getting better. The parking lot does suck. It's a tight squeeze on the sides. They didn't think it through very well when building. (I wrote in line at the parking lot. I had plenty of time to do so. It ended up taking 34 minutes trapped in line. Now I am updating at home) I have now read all the other reviews and notice the uniformity of the complaints about the service or lack thereof. Apparently they do not check their reviews. Also, I have to agree with the other reviewers about the 4 rock-like onion rings. Come on. ************************************************************* 2 1/2 stars really. Open letter to the owners of Cook Out; After 6 visits I am finally getting around to reviewing it. I like your food, a lot. But your employees suck! You should fire them all, manager included. Your service is uniformly abysmal. I include the manager because he allows it. Three attendants at the cash register mostly just talking to each other. Today at 3 in the afternoon I tried your drive-through for the first time. It was worse than the indoor service. 28 minutes to serve seven cars is unacceptable. Trapped! And the line was wrapped so far around that when I was served the last car in line was in front of my nose and required hard maneuvering to pass behind. I won't do that again. If you want your restaurant to last more than a few months, you are going to have to fix that. read more

The food is pretty unhealthy, but hey it is cheap and grilled food. The reason we enjoy this place is that our family of 4 can eat an entire meal for around $15. And that is a win that no other restaurant can state. It is crazy busy place because so many people love it. Guess with the craziness they do get some orders wrong, but thankfully that hasn't happened to me. We have been too many times when they have gotten the orders right that it will not cause me to put up a 2 stars or less review. Milkshakes are great. read more

This spot I was excited about when I saw that they were building it in my area. But once it opened the lines are always so long and ridiculous in the drive thru , I thought to self "wow it's gotta be good got folks waiting in long lines to eat !" Wrong , the food is just ok, no thrills nothing extra nothing special , really good milkshakes and a ton to choose from, I do really like the hush puppies those are tasty. The prices are super cheap the .99 cent menu is by far really great with lots to choose from. But I went late one night and I sat in drive thru for over 20 min I was starving and ready to give up on this spot but we were trapped and couldn't get out of the drive thru lane. Over all it's cool if you got kids and not trying to spend a lot, and you have a shake craving lol. The chilli is nasty I don't recommend that. read more

The food is really greasy but the milkshakes are awesome! ! I have been there a couple of times and the staff can be friendly but a little gruff as well. The drive thru is not faster than walking in so it's a gamble either way. Always crowded. read more

I've have been to this location twice now. Both times received poor customer service. Will not be back. First time order was wrong. Second Time was drive thru. Was not greeted at all. Was handed my food and window closed. No have a great day or thank you at all. Food was OK at best. To the owner, I would re-evaluate my staff and teach some basic Customer service skills. read more

CRAP ! ALL CRAP !! I realize that this place has only been open for about a week and I am forming my opinion solely on the quality of food and customer service. We went at dinner time and the place was PACKED inside and out. Selfish inconsiderate customers in the drive-thru gave no sh*ts about the fact that they were blocking multiple parking spots. This prevented others from backing out. When placing my order at the drive-thru speaker box I began to speak and gave the first part of my order. I paused for a second before I started to place the second part of my order. Well this gave the girl taking orders the gnats a** of a split second to give my total. I tried to tell her I wasn't finished ordering but she never answered again so I pulled forward and finished ordering at the window which threw a monkey wrench in their mojo and I had to wait at the window for them to make the rest of my order. They acted like it was my fault so ... to them The food was DISGUSTING !! Hot dogs were the lowest quality I've ever had. They were soft and just disintegrated in my mouth. Very salty and almost tan in color. Gross. The buns were hard and much bigger than the hot dogs. The onion rings were just .... cheap. You could tell that they were pre-made frozen onion rings. YUCK BBQ pork sandwich- meat tasted like it came from a can. Tasted like gas station bologna shredded and covered in BBQ sauce. Bun wasn't heated at all. Iced tea was not freshly brewed tea. So .... I don't know if you can tell but I hated this place. It doesn't help bring up the level of fast food in Snellville. read more

This place was horrible!!! The burgers were below mediocre, and the fries were even worse. My daughter said the fries we buy frozen at the grocery store were far better. The cashier was not friendly, and when we got our drinks there was food on one of them, GROSS!! I will NEVER go back to this location, or any other Cook Out. Love there cheese fries haven't tried a lot of there menu items but there hotdogs are really small and they charge the same amount for Chili and cheese as they do the hotdog there self still would definitely recommend this place and the milkshakes are great and have like 40 flavors read more

First time visitor. The food was good. Ate a double burger, onion rings, bacon wrap and sweet tea. All for $6 including tax. Would have been slightly cheaper, but I got cheese on the burger. The burger was good...not great. Onion rings were nothing to write home about. Bacon wrap went home with me since I was full. Sweet tea was fair. The young lady taking the order was polite. I've been there 3 times, but only eaten twice. Food is expensive, and only mediocre. I did not eat on the one occasion because as I was trying to maneuver into the drive thru a boy on a skateboard skated in front of me then called me names because I almost hit him. On another occasion I was called filthy names by a group of teenagers in the parking lot . Again because they were in the parking lot dodging around the cars. I feel the Snellville police need to patrol this parking lot occasionally. I will not be back to this location. If I want to be verbally abused by children I'll call my kids. read more

Went on a Monday evening when there were still people around but it wasn't packed. Ordered a hamburger with fries and onion rings. Their idea of a side of onion rings is four small onion rings. The burger tastes like something I could make on my grill at home (and it would taste better). The service was terrible- very rude people who care NOTHING about customer service and were impatient with someone ordering from them for the first time when there was no one else in line. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. My wife ordered a meal, then they asked if she wanted anything else. She then decided to order another meal, the same as the first placed, but with a different drink. The Lady working Then instructed her that next time, the "the correct way" to order is to order both meals at the same time. ARE YOU SERIOUS! What has happened to customer service. Then when my wife got to the window, she asked for ketchup. The lady with sarcastic grin on her face gave a few packets to my wife and then walked off laughing. If I could give zero stars I would. on top of all that, they even got the order wrong!!! I have called in a complaint to Cookout corporate and I am waiting to hear back. I will not eat at this location again. I refuse to support any business that does not value hiring competent employees that have basic customer service skills. I would rather look at a vacant building and support the business's in my community that care. Look for fast food it was darn good and it was fresh. I had a single burgers everything on it and I had a chili dog was slow and mustard both were cooked just write taste like him off the backyard grill. All for $7.35 with a drink. The beef and the hotdog taste to the high quality I first impression was a good one. read more

Food is hit or miss. They do have great Slaw Dogs. Their menu is hard to read and their sides are less than traditional. Most sides are like cheap versions of a normal entree like quesadilla or chicken wraps. But I want Mac n cheese or potato salad or pasta salad or baked beans but only normal sides are onion rings and French fries and coleslaw . read more

First of people it's a fast food restaurant and the price is great. I always get the cook out tray the double burger corn dogs and a fry with a large drink or milk shake for $4.99 $5.77 with tax the food is always hot and it always come out quick what more can u ask for read more

Love this franchise when I was in Athens, but the walnuts in my shakes here are not crunchy and probably old. Hopefully they will improve.

Update in my last review from 3 months ago.... Ate there Friday night and got food poisoning. As a restaurant manager myself I know the symptoms and the time length of food poisoning I have been so sick since Saturday afternoon I called the corporate number to get this store number, called and spoke to the general manager he was apologetic but assured me that everything was properly stored and all of the temperatures were right....told me to go to doctor and find out if it was for sure food poisoning, I told him that wasn't necessary. The first and last time! came here with my mother it was by far the most worst food I've ever had. I ordered a chicken quesadilla but I actually got melted cheese inside of a folded tortilla wrap. This is a pretty new Cook Out, so you would expect for the service and quality to be spot on.... Sadly to say, it's not. This is the worst Cook Out that I've been to. The service was very slow. Luckily I was the first person in line so my wait time was not as bad as others. I decided to eat my food at the restaurant. While I was eating, I noticed that the people waiting in line for their food almost began to look like a crowd. One party was waiting on their food while I was ordering mine and while I was eating my food, I heard one of them mentioned that they had been waiting for 25 minutes. SMH. In regards to the quality, my food was put together sloppily. I ordered a hotdog combo and the mustard was all over the bun. This location definitely needs to do better. I can see why they have the lowest ranking of all the Cook Out's in the Metro Atlanta area (as of today.) They would have received a 1.5 star if that was possible. Update: I have to change my two star rating to a one star.... I just went through the drive through right after they closed unbenounced to me while the lights were still on and they did not have the common courtesy to tell me that they were closed. Just left from Cook Out and I'm sold as a fan! This is a brand new location in Snellville and usually I will wait for any new restaurant to work out the kinks before giving them a try but I was passing by during my lunch hour and although there were several cars in the drive thru, I decided to wait it out and give them a try. Fortunately the line moved pretty fast and I got my order fairly quickly. I had never been to cook out but heard good things and I'm glad we have one close by now. I got a burger and a banana milkshake. The burger reminded me of a burger you cook on the grill at home which was delish not like the burgers at Steak and Shake or Freddy's... and the banana shake....soooo goood! I'll be back! read more

Right in the poverty pavilion where you find taco Bell and cookout both cheap and amazing for those looking to get the most food for their money. I highly recommend cookout I have never been disappointed with their food or service! read more

My second time at cook out today. My first experience was in Athens, and coming to this cook out I feel like I am coming in to chick fil a with how friendly everyone is and the smile!
