My boyfriend got food poisoning from this location on April 27th, confirmed by the doctor from the ER. He got a burger, chicken wrap, and cheese bites around lunch time and shortly after was having severe stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea. Barely slept that night and the next day (April 28th) he went in out of consciousness while driving to the ER. They confirmed after taking blood and testing that he did indeed have food poisoning. Already submitted a report but just wanted to warn anyone before they eat from here. I know this is not the first time this location has served raw food or poisoned people. Do not eat here!!! It's not worth it, my boyfriend is still experiencing symptoms and can't even go to work. Not to mention every time I've been here the customer service has been HORRIBLE. read more

This is a decent spot. Double drive-thru line so the wait doesn't seem to be as long but I am sure it is. The staff has always gotten my food right. The food is not expensive but the quality is not great either. Quesadilla barely has any meat in it. Cajun sandwich is good but small. Onion rings and fried cheese are decent. This location is convenient on the way home in the evenings. I have been in customer service for most of my life, and sympathetic to anyone in the service industry. Last attempt to purchase a meal through the drive through, the lady was very rude and hollering at me through the speaker, The rudest moment, ever been treated by an employee of a company. People rave about this place especially the shakes. This review is just for the shakes because that is all I ordered. The price is 2.99 and you get a lot for that amount. I was surprised by the size of the shake. They have a lot of interesting flavors to choose from it was hard to pick. We went for the Reese's peanut butter shake x2. The shake was very thick kind of like a Dairy Queen blizzard. We ended up needing spoons to eat it. When we looked at the shake, it looked like mostly vanilla. There were little bits in it and we barely got a Reese's taste. Comparing it to diary queen blizzards it is not doing it for me. Maybe I will try another one to see but it was just OK. read more

We don't have Cook Out where we live, and we were excited to try somewhere that has 40 types of shakes! The lady taking our order was very nice and friendly. She helped talk us through the menu, and made some recommendations for our meal. You get a ton of food for $5 a person (plus an upcharge for shakes) and everything we ordered was very tasty. The shakes are soooo thick and full of flavor. The one star deduction was for a few mistakes with our order, which they corrected. Also, they don't have any healthier options for sides (applesauce, fruit cup, etc). I would definitely go to Cook Out again! read more

Went by tonight to order milkshakes. On the way to pay I decided I wanted something to eat. I ask the girl at the drive thru window if I could add a cookout tray to my order. She immediately says "No we can not add to order here. You will have to go around and get back in line and order again." Let's just say I did not go around to order again. I will probably never go back to that location. If by chance this is their policy it is about the Stupidest policy I have ever heard of. Who the Hell is gonna want to wait another 15 to 20 minutes in line after you have already waited. From the time I ordered I was at the window in 1 minute. This cookout is the worst. My order was messed up on two separate occasions. The first time, I paid more than what I was given and it was the wrong order. The most recent time, I ordered chili cheese fries. When I got home, I realized that it smelled burnt. I decided to give it a try, and it was definitely burnt. This is horrible. Customers pay to get decent quality food and both times I feel like I've been ripped off. It's frustrating to spend money and not get what you paid for. But it's even worse to get gross food. Have to give this fast food category restaurant 5 stars for their great tasting, large portion & selection of food at incredible prices. Food is always hot and fresh, including their amazing fried okra. I have had the okra at least half a dozen times, and it is always hot and fresh, like it has never been sitting for even a minute. Best fried okra I have ever had! The burgers have a great char-grilled flavor and made to your order of toppings (you tell them what you want on them unlike other places where they are pre-made and you have to tell them what you don't want on them). Pickles are sliced long ways, are crunchy and delicious. Lettuce is nice crunchy iceberg and not that dark green leafy, slimy rabbit lettuce. Price? $4.99 for the Cook Out Tray which includes entree, two sides, and a large tea, or upgrade to one of their dozens of thick milkshakes for only $1 more ($5.99 with milkshake). And several of the choices for sides are like another entree, such as corn dogs, chicken quesadillas (yes you can request 2 of these as your side items!). Other sides are the fried okra mentioned above, onion rings, fries, and the list goes on and on. Entry items include big double burger (my favorite), big single burger, chicken sandwiches, etc. You will not leave hungry from here for $4.99. Matter of fact you may can feed 2 or 3 for this price, as I can imagine an adult eating the entree, 2 kids each eating a corn dog, and maybe splitting the large ice cream solid milk shake for dessert ($1 more). One cost tip when ordering a burger is they will always ask you if you want cheese on it. Cheese is an additional cost and not included in the $4.99 Tray price. The cashier said this 'it is 1/2 of a 1/4 pound burger' - hmmm - sounds like 1/8 pound to me if my high school math serves me right. Made the mistake of trying the Watson Blvd. Cook Out for some carryout burgers this past weekend. (We only ended up trying this one because the one on Russell has been too filthy to eat in the last several times we've gone there.) We got the bag of burgers and left for home. On the way, I started getting the distinct smell of burned/scorched meat from the bag with our burgers in it. Once we got home, I unwrapped and checked to see what was producing that smell. Turned out that one (of six) burgers had both beef patties burned to a crisp. One pattie each in two others were also scorched beyond repair. (And I don't mean just overdone...I like my burgers well done...these were burnt charcoal black). So, basically, 1/3 of the order (4 out of twelve patties in 6 burgers) were too burned to eat. I guess it's easier dumping stuff on customers when they're ordering carryout because they figure most people will get home before noticing how badly they've screwed up your order. Who knows. Maybe they're just this incompetent all the time, and today wasn't our lucky day to miss the mistakes. Either way, we're done eating here. I like Cook Out food (seriously), but I'll never eat at this one again. The chain's reputation would be better served if both their stores in Warner Robins went out of business. read more
