He helped us find the perfect vehicle for us and helped us find it for the right price. Austin was very nice and polite. He even walked us through all the features of our new car and the Kia app. He was never pushy and didn't waste any of our time. We really appreciate everything he did to help us out. Our finance person Billy was also very helpful. He was kind and understanding. He walked us through what everything would be and some extras we could get. He was very thorough and explained everything very simply in a way that we as the buyers could understand. He got us in at price that was reasonable and doable. In the end we walked away with everything we wanted and everything we didn't know we wanted. Thank you to Austin and Billy for being so kind. We love our Kia Sportage and we will return to Gay Family Kia when we need a new car.

They said to bring it in on Monday and to give them a couple of days, which I did. I still hadn't heard anything my Thurs and I couldn't get a return call from my advisor. I was told by a clerk that nothing had been done yet. I went to the dealership to find out the problem. They got the car in and finally gave me an estimate after I waited. The estimate to replace sensors was approved then. It took them till the next Thursday to finally get them installed after I again showed up because no call was returned. Nearly 2 weeks to get simple repairs completed. I feel like it was only completed then because I kept showing up to inquire about the status. Very poor customer service. I didn't even get a return call frim the Service Manager. Don't waste your time taking a vehicle there.

When we tried to contact them to fix it, Michael R. Gilbrand told us to basically take a hike, and that he wasn't going g to fix it, and that if we touched it he would repo the car. He cant touch the car. We have made, and we make every payment. Michael R. Gilbrath finally had us bring it in. This time his mechanic installed 2 units, and left one hanging on the ground. It has since fallen off. At this point, we will likely sue big 7 for selling a lemon, maybe damages. Just depends on how many process servers get sent, and how much more work is missed because of Michael R. Gilbreath. if you need a car and you are broke. Ask people from dickinson about this trash. Michael R Gilbreath and his Dad Carl have a LONG history of ripping g people off in Dickinson. Ask around about them. If you really need a car, drive 15 more minutes to Clear Lake Autos. You will pay more, and they are more strict on credit, but they will sell you a good car, not one they knowing only going to run until you get it home.

I was in the market for selling a 2005 Nissan Altima - Single Owner - 124000 miles. I would rate…read morethe car in the very good condition range with the normal wear and tear associated with bumpers and body cosmetics. There was also some upholstery cleaning that can be taken care of in detailing. I went to the Start Toyota - they offered ~$2700. This was the first quote and we did not want to trade-in for any vehicle that they had, because we didn't find any. We did buy another vehicle and were looking to sell ours now. Did not want to go through the private selling hassle because I did not have the time or the expertise to do this here. So, I asked my mechanic for options and he mentioned me to try Carmax. I was hesitant, because a family friend mentioned that they were the lousiest in the business, but I did give a try I went to Carmax; lousiest experience in car dealership ever. They were the roughest bunch of people that I ever dealt with. They survive because of the aggressive advertising. Was given a quote that was $2000 less than what Kelley Blue Book (KBB) average quote was ($3,381-$4,276). Discouraged, I asked the salesman from whom I bought my new vehicle. He directed me to a second-hand car salesman that he knew. That person offered $3000. Life happened and two months went by before I could find time to clean the car and call the guy. In the interim, I felt that I should get more for the car, call it a gut feeling..... So I chanced upon the Signpost when driving on the Gulf Freeway for Texas Direct Auto (TDA). It was the best thing for selling this car that I did. Loved dealing with Michael Ham and Jamicia Ware. Ambience was very calming. Wait was 30 minutes. Quote was hassle-free and quick. Rate was closer to the mid-range of what KBB gave. Walked out happy. Keep up the good work, TDA!!!!!!

According to the technician, they repaired the motor mounts, transmission mounts, and the window. When we picked the van up, the window still did not work, and the noise was still there. We brought the van back, and Daniel, the service representative, then told us additional parts were needed. The window repair alone cost us $1,231.00, yet the window still does not function. We were also later told the van now needs a new transmission. My question to Daniel was simple: Why were these issues not properly diagnosed, documented, or communicated before charging us $3,542.20? Why wasn't the vehicle fully troubleshot before repairs were recommended and approved? Had we known the full extent of the problems upfront, we could have invested the $3,542.20 toward a different solution instead of paying for repairs that did not resolve the original issues. Very disappointed with the lack of communication, diagnosis, and quality control.

I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership over the July 4 weekend. Normally I do not give…read morea five star ratings to business as it usually requires them to go above and beyond what One would expect. This was actually the case with Clear Lake Autoworld. It's a little things To begin the inventory that they have on the website is the actual inventory that they have on site at the location. Do you know that I did advanced research to determine the exact vehicle that I wanted by range of year's mileage price I knew exactly what I can get and what I should expect. So my review it's pretty comprehensive as it covers everything from the website being easy to navigate, responsiveness of the dealership from when initially contacted, actual information on the website as far as phone number and physical address, and the courtesy provided by the staff there at the dealership. What I found at this dealership is at what they say on the website as what they have. There were some big name brand dealerships that would put bait vehicles on the website and when I called they were so conveniently have just so that vehicle, but then the next day or two that exact vehicle will be back up on their website again You also have the issue of either private sellers or dealers not posting on the website that the title on the vehicle was either salvage or that the mileage was incorrect (off by 30k to 40k miles) of what they posted on the website. All of it just gimmicks to get someone in the door and on the ground so that they can try to sell you something that you don't want. Additionally, you have all these dealerships that do not accept cash offers. Other dealerships wanna try to scam you into the financing to where they make money off you more there than actually selling you the vehicle for cash. Not so at Clear Lake Autoworld, they do have financing available but had no problem excepting the cash offer. As far as pricing goes the price I alternately paid was a fair price. Kelley blue book provides a range of what you should expect to pay for a vehicle and though it wasn't on the lowest Clear Lake Autoworld was not on the high end either. They were right in the middle with spare pricing on the vehicle. The other issue I found very positive is the vehicles being sold at Clear Lake Autoworld are in great condition. I can't tell you how many vehicles I went to go see that had great pictures but when I got there the dealerships or the sellers had laid some cut out carpet over the actual carpet upholstery of the vehicle so that the picture was nice. But of course when you picked up that overlay carpet The vehicles actual carpet was all tore up or the interior just must not in good condition. Just like a selfie Dealers no it's all about the angle. But not so at Clear Lake Autoworld what you saw in the pictures was what you saw when you arrived. They also went above and beyond and made sure that when I was going to pick up my vehicle they did one last check mechanically of the vehicle, insured no engine lights were on I would come on, or wherever even there, plus they did a oil change and filter change and they also ensure that they were new floor mats included. This is a little above and beyond that I'm talking about. As you know when you buy a used vehicle you're expecting to buy a new floor mats anyway. But Clear Lake Autoworld did that for me as a little extra. Not saying that's what I do for everyone but that is my experience with them. As far as dealing with the staff there Shane and Linda were great. Very down to earth people, telling you what they have and doing their best for you. Appreciate their honesty, straightforwardness, and just willingness to be helpful And making the car buying experience as pleasant as possible. So I will definitely when I start looking for a new used vehicle whenever that is next Clear Lake Autoworld will definitely be the first place I stopped to see and check their inventory. Never know what kind of germs you can find there is what I'm thinking.
