Looks flavorful doesn't it... It's missing something.. Probably love.

Pass on this gimmick.. 27.80 with tip for a sandwich and one drink.. Why have a kiosk!? You still have to stand in line for your drink! Why because I'm sure your workers with the shitty attitude that pass out the food hate their job... The Cubano was decent but lacked flavor it felt like a sandwich trying to impersonate the real deal.. Wait is quick because it's all pre-made all they need to do is put in an oven press.. Man save your money.

This is located in the Park Mgm right at the elevator entrance to get to the rooms. I just wanted sweets so I ordered churros with caramel. They were good. The cashier was friendly but the guy handing out orders was just bland. I'm sure their food is good as they had a lot of people there BUT it was also only one of the food options in hotel open after 11:30pm

Inspired by the movie Chef, and created by Jon Favreau and Roy Choi, this was a wonderful place to find some very flavorful food. We quickly got some Churros which were perfectly crispy on the outside, along with a soft bite on the inside, balanced with ample cinnamon sugar and a caramel dip. The service was quick and with the truck located within the Park MGM the atmosphere was lively. Looking forward to returning and trying out more options upon this indoor food truck!

Service was excellent and our food was ready pretty quick. There is a small sitting area which was comfortable and clean. Food was good. We ordered the following: 1. The Chef Truck Cubano 2. The Chubby Beef Gordito Taquito 3. The Chubby Chicken Gordito Taquito Hands down our favorite was The Chubby Beef! It was delicious! The Chubby Chicken and Cubano were good too. Can't go wrong with whatever you choose from the menu.

    Pretzel bites almost gone!

This food truck is AMAZING! Fabulous menu and variety of foods for late night meals. Very friendly service!! Food is cooked fresh while you wait. The green apple slushie is so refreshing. The Mac and cheese with chicken in the pastry puff was such a nice portion. The churros and pretzel bites were scrumptious too. The grilled cheese has to be the BEST grilled cheese I've had in my LIFE!

The Chef Truck is wheel-y good! Brought to you by the duo Roy Choi and Jon Favreau, The Chef Truck is serving up big flavors just steps from the elevators. You can't miss it. Vegas Cheesesteak Puff Pie (Provolone, cherry bomb peppers, and caramelized onions wrapped in flaky pastry), $16: YES. Just... YES. This one's a must. Imagine all the savory, cheesy goodness of a classic cheesesteak but tucked inside a golden, buttery puff pastry. It's warm, melty, and layered to perfection. Cheesesteak meets croissant. You won't regret it. The Chef Truck Cubano (Roasted mojo pork, ham, cheese, pickles, mustard, and salsa verde on a buttered roll), $17: Another winner. Perfectly pressed, flavorful, and everything you want in a Cubano. The mix of tender pork, melty cheese, and tangy pickles hits all the right notes. That Famous Grilled Cheese (Gruyere, parmesan, yellow cheddar, and white cheddar, on butter grilled sourdough), $12: A classic American sandwich that needs no introduce, just maybe a cup of tomato soup (which they do not offer). It's a cheesy and gooey grilled cheese. Roy and Jon did not miss. The Chef Truck is an easy win if you're craving bold, comfort-packed bites with a twist.

Little food truck sitting in the middle of mgm lobby. Came here for a quick bite to eat as it was just right outside the elevator. Got tacos and a mix bowl. Food came out relatively quick and had a variety of mixes in the bowl. Quite flavorful but the meat was a bit on the drier side. Def needed something to help wash down.

Just keep walking. I don't care if you've seen the movie (I hadn't) or it looks enticing, save your money and spend it elsewhere. We were staying at the ParkMGM and didn't want to go out to eat so we placed an online order at the chef truck. We walked to the truck and tried to figure out which window to wait at for our order and walked between the two to see. We weren't greeted and the employees in the truck were just talking to each other. Eventually we asked, and it turned out our food had just been sitting on a shelf, cold, before we got it. The cubano was mediocre at best and honestly the best thing we ordered were the mini corn dogs. The batter was super crispy and a good balance of sweet to counter the saltiness of the dog. At Vegas pricing though, this was not worth it. You can have a better meal elsewhere.

Two puff pastries (Philly and pepperoni) five skinny mozzarella sticks and rock hard pretzel bites. ($75 after tip)

After traveling all day, we were so hungry and this place looked good, seemed quick, and was a decent price point compared to the other options. What a waste of money and perfectly good taste buds. Almost all of the options are deep fried. The portions are tiny. The pretzel bites were rock hard. This was snack food at best and after $75 for two puff pastry concoctions, rock hard pretzel bites, and five skinny mozzarella sticks we left and went somewhere else for real food. Also BUYER BEWARE they request a gratuity and we could not find a way around it on the required kiosk ordering, so we tipped for absolutely NO ONE to help, greet or even acknowledge us. I cannot stress enough what a joke this whole experience was. Don't waste your money.

"Cooking is one of the most zen things - You have to be there." - Roy Choi Roy Choi might not be my boi, but The Chef Truck is legit. I like this spot more than Best Friend. I'll take a Cubano or a Philly Cheesesteak Puff Pie any day. That Famous Grilled Cheese is mid, though. I think I can make better grilled cheese but no hate. It's a legit grilled cheese at a Vegas price point. It's a neat set-up. It's a whole food truck right outside of the elevator area with a small seating area next to it. I recommend just taking your food up to your room to enjoy. Just get a grip of napkins because it can get greasy.

    Taquitos

Disappointment is an absolute understatement. Look, Chef is one of my all-time favorite films and Cuabnos are one of my all-time favorite sandwiches. I know not everything in Vegas is going to be great, but considering the names behind this restaurant and the idea for it, it's such a shame of what the place is actually like. Maybe they were better at the beginning or even just before I visited because it seems that they made some major changes just before I stopped by. Just a few days before visiting, I checked the hours which showed they were open everyday for lunch and as early as 9am on weekends. Well I stopped by at 10am Sunday and they were closed, only to find out they changed hours to dinner only wed-sun and closed mon/tues. When I asked the cashier he said they recently laid off half the staff and changed the menu, adding "you know how these companies are". And with his tone, it seems like the Chef Truck is taking a deep dive for rock bottom. The food didn't help either. Starting off with the taquitos. How are these taquitos? The cashier mentioned it was huge but it's just a regular flower tortilla rolled up. It wasn't even fried. The whole thing was still soft and cold. The chicken was bland and there was nothing special about it even though the cashier added that it always sells out first. Now the grilled cheese. It was good, it was cheesy, and the bread was toasted nicely. Granted the menu reads exactly what you get, but with that, you still expect more because of where you get it from. It's nothing you can't make at home. And finally, the cubano. The sandwich for which made Chef Carl Casper who he is in the film. This, this isn't it. While sitting and waiting for the restaurant to open, we saw two workers wheel a cart full of pre-made sandwiches from the hotel's kitchen. Granted there's nothing in the sandwich that would make it soggy or "ruin" the sandwich, but it just feels lazy and unnecessary. They don't even use Cuban bread. The menu just says "pressed buttered roll". Ok then. Something I did not pay attention to at first is the salsa verde. What? Since when does a Cubano have salsa verde? That isn't a Cuban sandwich anymore. The meat was dry and bland, there was barely any ham, and the one slice of cheese was just put on one side of the sandwich. It was a poorly made and poorly tasting Cubano. Such a shame. I absolutely love Roy Choi and Jon Favreau, and it's almost heartbreaking to have this experience.

Inside Park MgM lies this replica of the food truck from the movie Chef, starring Jon Favreau. Whether you're a fan or not, it's a quick snack/meal choice if staying inside the hotel. Walk to Window for easy service Cute and easy fix for quick eats. Recommend: plantains - tostanes

This is a small place with a window to order and pay. They have the menu showing on the front and you can see the staff preparing the food as it is glass. There are a couple of tables in front where you can sit but they are first come first serve and shared with other businesses. The food came out relatively quick. The grape leaves were good just not as citrusy as I'm used to. The sandwich was big and a bit messy to eat so I used utensils. The flavor was really good.

Thank goodness for Bouchon Bakery being conveniently located just outside of the North Tower elevators. The pastries here are top notch. I love their croissants. So good! The coffee they use is delicious. They offer almond and oat milk at an additional cost. I'll overlook that because their coffees really are that good. Service is quick and friendly. Buttery, flakey, and caramelized. A delight of flavors, textures, and aromas. Absolutely a must-order. For something more savory, the everything bagel croissant was flakey and coated to the max with everything bagel topping. The quiche was a little disappointing. It was well set and creamy, but the crust was a bit dense. Spinach quiche is a little boring anyway; I would reorder it in a different flavor for sure. Sadly the chocolate almond croissant was simply not good. Something about combining the almond filling with the chocolate made the interior dense and unappetizing. I thought this would be my favorite but in the end I took only a few bites.

We decided to eat over at a nearby taco joint in the end. Both of us got their D.U.I. Very packed with flavor with all the meats inside, and the cheese melts so well inside the hot dog. They even put this inside a relatively big carton container, the same kind I've seen the staff put their D.U.I. Fries in... holy crap those are some huge portions! For $18 before tax though, this hot dog was already slightly massive for its size, at just about a foot long. Very nice start to a great time in Vegas! Also a great hot dog stand with immensely tasty dogs.
