Wow! Cookie Friday is absolutely delicious. I got a s'mores cookie and a mint chocolate cookie. The mint chocolate cookie was gluten free and cost a little more, but it was worth it! It might be literally the best cookie I've ever had! So good. The s'mores cookie was also extremely tasty as well. This cookie store does basically look like a Crumbl inside, which most of these rotating places do! But it would be nice to see a little more originality. Cookie Friday is locally owned and operated by Tyler and Janeen. They are great couple with a great concept. Their cookies are all freshly made. Recipes are from Janeen and Family. Today I got the chocolate chip in the Elvis cookies. But as you can see, they have many more cookies. And they change every week. I got here at 10:30 this morning and the cookies were just coming out of the oven. Nothing better than a chocolate chip cookie fresh out of the oven. Super cute and clean cookie shop in the Saint Rose shopping center! They have a variety of cookies and drinks to choose from. Throughout the week, they change out their cookie flavors. I was shopping around and decided to stop by to try out their cookies! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who also recommended the top two selling cookies for the week. She recommended the churro and the strawberry cheesecake. I ended up getting both! Both cookies were not too sweet, which I appreciated. The churro cookie tasted like a snickerdoodle cookie with a cinnamon frosting. The strawberry cheesecake cookie was a sugar cookie with a strawberry cheesecake frosting. The cookies were fresh, moist, with a little crunch on the edges and they are huge! I also liked how it was packed in a cute box! Came in for my first time to grab a 2G2G order. I don't know what I would have bought if I had walked in and saw the prices for a cookie, so I'm glad I was here with a discount. It is expensive for my taste on any regular day but I've come to realize these are specialty places! And it would be worth the price if I had come in with my kids and let them make their choices as a special treat. The cookies were big and tasty, they have gluten-free options if that's your style, the place was small but clean and the staff were sweet as could be, as you'd expect from a place that sells cookies. I didn't know this place existed so again, I'm grateful for 2G2G and glad I stopped by. I came into Cookie Friday after passing by it when going to another business in the area. We were immediately welcomed in by the cashier. It's a casual spot where you can order cookies individually or in packs or dozens and they box them for you. They have a cool refrigerator filled with waters, Red Bull, and flavored milks. The unique flavors they had were Root Beer and Orange. We didn't order any drinks this trip, but we'll definitely have to try a flavored milk in the future. They have 6 flavors that rotate weekly. The cookies are large and soft. They have some unique flavors for cookies too. Not only are the cookies good, but the service is great. I looked at the other reviews at it seems they have really cute festive options in rotation. There were classic options when we went, but what I think is most notable, is the gluten free option. Having at least 1 gluten free option is such a nice addition. My boyfriend really liked his Chocolate Fudge GF cookie. *My boyfriend is sensitive to gluten but is not bothered by cross contamination. If you have celiac disease, please ask before purchasing.* I love classic cookies, and tried the chocolate chip cookie. Cookie Friday is my favorite of the trendy cookie shop options. My toddler and I love coming here. The location is easy to find in The St. Rose Square area. They're close to Hobby Lobby. The area has never been too crazy when I've stopped in so parking was easy. The shop is really clean and cute. They have a cute wall that my toddler enjoys for photos. It's just a takeout spot, no seating. The employees are quick to greet with a smile. It has never been a long wait to order and get my cookies. Each week the flavors offered rotate. There are six flavors per week including a gluten free cookie. Chocolate chips seems to be offered all of the time. My favorites are Chocolate Chip, S'mores, Key Lime, and Nutella Peanut Butter. They don't have any flavors that aren't good. The cookies are soft and so delicious. The chocolate they use is really good. I'm not a soda drinker, but their sodas are an exception. The Friday Night I'm in Love is so good. All the fruity flavors with Sprite. What a treat. Fun bonus, they have a reward system so if you are a repeat customer you'll earn money off for it. I walked in and was like omg is this the new Crumbl? And the cashier was so informative and gave me the backstory to this small business - how the owner started it from her garage in 2017 and then found a location in 2021 near the airport and now they're open at this location. He also said he thinks it's better than Crumbl because their cookies are all natural ingredients and no preservatives. I was very intrigued because I stopped liking Crumbl as much knowing how bad those cookies are for you. They're literally not real cookies by definition. Anyways, he was right. As a fellow sugar addict these cookies were pretty good! There were 5 different flavors to choose from, all sitting atop pretty white stands. We decided on the grinch green sugar cookie, which had a cute little red heart, and the snickerdoodle cookie. Both were decent but we preferred the snickerdoodle as the sugar cookie was cold and a bit hard. Overall were decent cookies! The offerings and pricing are fairly close to its competitors, but I think we'd only come here every once in a while since it's nearby and not necessarily my top favorite cookie shop. Displayed on the counter are samples of their various cookies they offer for the week. These are not for eating of course. Upon venturing into this business, come to find out it's not as new as once realized. How did I discover this gem? My daughter Cheyenne invited me for cookies. Come to find out they are already expanding to a future location very soon. This shows a huge potential and strong stability for their products they offer. After sampling the cookies I would recommend their cookies to anyone. My confidence and trust in their recipes would continue to grow when the need arose for cookie cravings. While we were paying for our cookies all was going well until the cashier got lost. She rang the order in properly, but typed in the wrong amount of money when the order was tendered. My complaint is not in her service level, but in the fact that she could not figure out the change in her head. This individual even had a calculator next to the register that she did not seem to not know how to use at all. She seemed confused on how to even do basic math. The cashier had to call for the manager to come over for aid. It turns out the manger is the actual owner. The owner handled this situation well making eye contact with us, the customer. As we instantly were able to give her the exact change back and even told her to keep it after struggling so much with this miscommunication it's unsettling. This is a pet peeve of mine. We all make mistakes, but this cashier was unprofessional when it came to her duties. Her flaws in providing change could cost this business customers. The cashier in her crisis was not able to think on her feet . She failed to recognize us as the customer and not even make eye contact during this process. Even if she could if not fix the situation it could of be handled better with better professionalism. Come and get a great cookie today. We were craving something sweet and yummy and we set our minds on cookies. As we are from Reno, the Yelp community guided us to this establishment, and we couldn't be happier. My wife and I have been eating gluten free for years and this place always has one. About 5 new choices of cookies come out each Friday and that includes one gluten free cookie we can eat. Oh my goodness from walking in to leaving and walking back in Ella is amazing! I walked in and she greeted me with such a friendly smile. This spot is new. If you've had crumbl cookie this is better!
