Great selection of tops, bottoms, dresses, rompers, sandals and accessories for every occasion at a reasonable price. Keep at eye out for their weekend sales. Lanie is my favorite shopper! I have followed her from Mililani to Kapolei because she always makes me feel beautiful and confident. She picks out pieces that compliment me and gives her honest opinion during my try-ons. The last time I was treated this blatantly bad was at the Sonoma Jack Cheese Factory in Sonoma, and Korbel Champagne in Guerneville, California. Visiting this Cookie's location stirred up some ugly feelings from over 20 years ago when I visited those two places and by ugly I mean the following: 1) sales girl totally ignoring me after eye contact and looking away. 2) staring at me while I picked up clothing from the rack and stared at me each. and. every. time. Very uncomfortable. I even tried to break the ice by saying "this is so cute" while I picked up a dress but she still stared at me and ignored me. Total ice job. 3) continuing to ignore me (super obvious). At one point, she said "you can always try on anything you see" and I actually perked up, but she wasn't talking to me, she was talking OVER me, to another family. 4) ignored me until the very last minute until I passed her and I finally said "hello" to test whether she would respond. She did say "hello" as I was walking out, so she knew I was there, she was just treating me like I was a nobody. If I didn't even say hello to her, she would have ignored me, that's a 100% guarantee. I am not stupid. I know when I am being treated with disdain. I work in a hospital, with sick people, people who are in pain, people who are scared and people who are even dying. I've been working with people for a very long time. I can sense people and their families acutely, it's just the nature of the job. Anyone in healthcare can tell you after a while you develop a highly refined sense of reading people, so I can also tell if someone doesn't want me there. She did not want me there. She stared at me and made me feel like some kind of human scourge. I know I was dressed like a bum in T-shirt and shorts but that doesn't mean I don't have any money to spend. I don't want to say this, but I hope her disdain wasn't motivated by something more than how I was dressed - I totally felt it. It was icy, it was mean and it was deliberate. This is Hawaii - there's no room for this kind of behavior! 2 stars - could've been better. 1 star - NOT GOOD. This was not good. This was downright awful. RETURN FACTOR: Not coming back to this location but I may give the other locations a visit. I hope the owner is reading this and can train this girl to be all inclusive and not to ice anyone out; not how they are dressed, not how rich they look, not their age or their race; treat people how you want to be treated and don't think people are so stupid they don't notice. read more

Saw an employee near the front door and said I must have just talked to you. We giggled as she said you found us. What can I help you with? I told her I wanted to get a gift card. Transaction was fast and easy. She asked how much and I said 100. She said the recipient was very lucky. I asked is this the biggest store as they have several? I have been going to cookies since I lived in Kaneohe - then in mililani when Lanie was manager !! Lanie is the best !! She always updated me on specials , shipments and she new my style. Everytime I went in she already had an idea of the things I would like . She paid really good attention to my style, she always remembered when I said, I didn't like a certain thing and remembered when I did like a certain thing. I was always impressed how she had such good memory I would come in and she would show me exactly something that I would want it saves me so much shopping sometimes. Or if anything ever came in shipment and she knew it was my style she would send me a text message personally letting me know that it arrived. when I was getting ready to travel abroad she hand picked so many outfits specifically tailored to countries I was going. We spent so much time discussing outfits and planning on how it would match each country. She gave me so much attention. I always felt welcomed and appreciated by her .
