I had previously went into this store atmosphere was awesome I felt sense of overwhelming peace As this is christian faith based store . The two female employees were awesome even explained the set up of the store and items to purchase and explained the logo. Today I went to the store Kapolei location completely different atmosphere young man was friendly greeted me as I entered the store . The other young female was not so welcoming and I got sense of crude rude and just not good customer service even made a rude comment regarding my purchase. RACIST, BETTER Service and MORE Transparency. #1, I'm not kanaka. But my husband certainly is, and I consider myself blessed to be on aina. Never have I felt the way I did checking out of blessed a week or so ago, having purchased matching outfits for my husband and I to go up to my boys military grad for basic. I was small talking with the clerk at the register (he was super sweet) while the lady on the side laughed under her breath, rolled her eyes out freakin loud, and gave me looks like I was NOT WELCOME and another haole lady shopping in a locals store. #2 while checking out, and because my husband wanted options for what we were wearing, I SPECIFICALLY ASKED what the return policy was. "You have 30 days to return or exchange." Perfect. I left feeling pretty crappy that I was treated like that.. but happy with the garments we selected and knew my son would like them and had the reassurance that I could make returns if necessary. Fast forward a week, I ended up wearing a Navy MOM shirt to the grad and needed to return one of the items I bought. Lo and behold, Ms. Friendly at the register was the one to help me with my return. She informed me the money would go back to store credit.. I said oh no, did I take too long to return it back to my debit? "No.. we don't return to your payment method, only store credit." I'm sorry? "Yeah.. right here on your receipt." I said, ok, I understand I'll be getting store credit today, but you guys should communicate that better at the point of sale, because that is not a return, that is a store credit. When I asked the question, the answer needed to have been, "We offer store credit for up to 30 days after purchase." NOT "30 days to return or exchange." The best part of this is that despite the fact that I was treated poorly and still showed kindness to this woman, she had the audacity to take her red pen and underline and circle all over the return policy at the bottom of my receipt and smile as she slid it back to me like it was a freaking joke. I said that's not necessary, I understand the policy now and I don't appreciate your smart ass sarcasm.. Moral of the story. Blessed doesn't practice what they "preach" and you CANNOT TRUST their employees word, gotta read the fine print. Who wants a $100 gift card to blessed? SUPER disappointed. read more

Auwè! Blessed? How can that be if the exchange policy is ten days from when it was purchased. I received a shirt from my nephew for my birthday in March that was purchased at the Kamakana Alii store. We didn't have a receipt at the time that we tried to exchange the shirt at the Pearlridge store. Unfortunately we were informed that they couldn't exchange it because, one, it wasn't from their store and two, we didn't have the receipt. We got the receipt from my nephew and went to the Kamakana Alii store and was informed by the sales clerk/ manager that there is a 10 day exchange policy and that it was past the ten days. She was very polite but I believe that this practice is not a practice that my nephew was made aware of , when he made the purchase. Though the policy is posted in front of the register, this practice I believe is not Pono. The gifted shirt is still in style and others still hang on the racks. I normally give very positive reviews but this situation causes me to make others aware too so they do not have to trouble themselves. Their EXCHANGE policy is the most ridiculous I have heard of so beware!! I was going to purchase items from their store for myself and the many on my Christmas list only to find out that if I needed to exchange it for a different size, I could only exchange it for the EXACT same item in a different size IF it is available. So knowing the exchange policy I asked to try the item I wanted to purchase for myself over my pants to see if it maybe would fit (the waist), I was not allowed per sales associate "due to covid," yet I am able to try on a zippered jacket in their store with no problem. Yes I understand with this whole covid pandemic about trying clothing on and what disinfecting entails, but trying on a pants I feel is not as near to my face as a zippered jacket, so their rationale is quite puzzling. To make things more complicated if I wanted to purchase anything for myself and as gifts, the exchange could only be done at the Kapolei store where I purchased it from for the EXACT SAME ITEM in whatever size they may have available. Myself or the individuals I would gift the items to is unable to exchange the item at their other locations for the same item in the correct size cause "even though we are the same company it is different computer systems." So when I questioned the sales associate again just to make sure what I heard was correct that if I purchased a pants in a small for myself and it did not fit, since they did not have a medium at the Kapolei store and only a size large as my next option, if I needed a different size I would have to purchase the large, which I knew would definitely not fit. The sale associate confirmed and stated "yes." I was blown away by their exchange policy! Mind you I am purchasing the same line "blessed" not other lines from different vendors. I then asked if I am able to put that credit for the pants towards something else in the store, the same clothing line "blessed" and was told "no due to covid since we are a small business, it would be 3 days before the item is back out on the floor." So with this being said... if you purchase something from this store you better make sure you or the recipient fits it or the store has the next size available. If not basically are stuck with the item either being to small or to big and not able to use the credit towards anything else in the store, which I feel so ridiculous! So the item will basically go to waste. I wanted to support local small businesses here in Hawaii, but absolutely not spending my hard earned money in a store with such a ridiculous exchange policy! This exchange policy blew my mind and so I decided to purchase only what I knew would not need to be exchanged for a different size from here and needed to look elsewhere for gifts on my Christmas list. read more

Not one, not two, but three times blessed with TRINITY of stores on O'ahu!!! Very blessed to have another Blessed Life store this time on the west side of O'ahu specifically within the Ka Makana Ali'i shopping center in Kapolei! I have been blessed to have gone to the grand openings for all three stores in Windward mall, Pealridge, and now including this one! Big mahalo and blessings to the creator above in conjunction with the owners Shari and Junior Y. As well as all the local brands that are a part of the overall Blessed Life store! Although Blessed is the main brand, there are other in-house/in-store brands such as Faith/Love/Aloha, Know God/Know Love, etc. The store is specifically located right across from the main courtyard area nearby the food court area. You can miss it. The prices for everything are pretty decent. They always have a sale or two going on. The staff and customer service is Blessed! One for he unique things about the store is their prayer wall and prayer section, just like how they have it in every store that they have. They have sometime for everyone! The whole ohana! Anything in the store makes a great and blessed gift for anyone! Every time I cruise around the mall, I hope to stop by either just to cruise or do some prayer time in the store. Blessed! read more

The Blessed Life store ... not so blessed . Received a nice shirt as a birthday gift & needed to exchange with all tags... then several issues: 1. Tried to exchange at Pearlridge store, but was told we need to exchange at store it was Purchased at... what?!? It was a gift? From the label the store clerk told us which store. We live on east side & need to go to Kapolei store. 2. Drove to Kapolei store & was told we could not exchange shirt even though it had all tags attached . The clerk explained we needed to have the receipt or gift receipt?!?!? What! You have to be kidding.... The shirt has the tags & we see it on your store rack (current inventory). It was a gift!?!? No exceptions! 3. Asked my relative if they had the receipt which they eventually was able to find it & get it to me in a few weeks. 4. Finally able to drive all the way to Kapolei (gas prices over $5.00/gallon!) Tried to exchange the shirt w/ all tags attached and my relative's receipt... ugh! . Still won't let me exchange because past 10-days from purchase... really, it's a gift!!! No one told us about 10-days, we did everything you asked & you won't let us exchange it for something we like??? I thought this was a Christian store. Does not seem like a "blessed life" ??? Left a message for owners to call me so that I could explain... the store manager was apologetic & suggested I yelp my concerns. We are good ChristianNewHopers & would like to promote your Christian stores... but All this leaves a bad taste and an empty gas tank ... praying you change your customer service policies so that others will not have to go through the pain, suffering & disappointment we went through. Shopped at this store because the clothing designs are good and of course the message "Blessed" is a good vibe to promote. Unfortunately for a religious clothing line, they do not live up to their name. Can't exchange across stores, and unwilling to make any kind of exceptions for exchanges, even with all tags attached not willing to exchange without receipt. Had to get the receipt because I got the shirt as a gift and it took a couple weeks to get receipt because I don't see that person often. When I bring it back they said only 10 days to exchange with receipt...what if you get it as a gift after 10 days......just wanted to exchange, now I'm stuck with a shirt that don't fit right after taking time to drive out two times (pretty far from my house) to exchange it. Buyer Beware, make sure you buy exactly what you need because it's hard to exchange...probably wouldn't get a gift from there either and put your friend or relative through that hassle.
