Holy Cow, this ice cream is utterly amazing! The line was long - which is a sign this is good :) once we got inside, it was nice and clean with friendly staff. You can read about this from their website, but Cookies & Cream is an extension of the ministry of Coastal Family Church. Love this place!

Absolutely our family's favorite ice cream shop during our stay! First of all, such a clean, and simple modern design for an ice cream shop. As soon as you enter, the smell of cookies are mesmerizing, and gets the taste buds salivating. We actually enjoyed the limited number of ice cream flavors, maybe a dozen choices or so, but I felt like it helped move the line much quicker. They also have 9 or so options for cookies, all the ones we got were warm and melted wonderfully in the cups of ice cream we got! a few of us opted for the Heifer Cookie Sundae. Two scoops of your choice of ice cream, and a cookie of your choice. Talk about delicious, and the best price, all for $8.00! Our son ordered the Combine, and he said it was his best milkshake he's had all week. Choice of ice cream, choice of cookie and choice of milk. To top it off, the service was the best. The workers were so kind, funny and actually enjoyed their job and interacting with the customers. We will definitely be back, and encourage you to give them a try!

Great family spot, extremely clean and a must go. Will be a family repeat stop for years to come. Still delicious, back for another year and week of ice cream and cookies. We've visited everyday on our trip, don't let the line deter you!

This place is great!! I'm in Nags Head for a family reunion with my wife and we've been here almost every night. The owner and staff are super friendly and they had a great variety of ice cream. My wife is not usually a person who would go for a traditional vanilla flavor but she said it's the best she's ever had and now she's hooked. It's definitely a must go when you are in town read more

The ice cream and homemade cookies are to die for!! Bonus points if you're pregnant, it really hits the spot haha!! We will be back here everytime we are in the area. The restrooms and food area were so clean and inviting. The service was amazing, one of the only places open on July 4th and she even kept her doors open late so everyone could enjoy some sweet treats. Thank you!! read more

Not sure if the long line was because of the stormy weather or bc the neighboring ice cream place was out of business, but the wait was very long. There were 3 staff members working hard and fast and eventually a 4th came to assist, which helped. The place smelled amazing bc the cookies were being baked. Staff was very nice and patient with us and our children. The ice cream selection was limited, but the actual ice cream was very good. We didn't get any cookies but if they taste as good as they smell we missed out!! read more

It's just not fair that the ice cream is great and so are the cookies. I didn't want a cookie Sundae, but I was left with no choice. And it did not disappoint. While visiting, we visited 3 times and loved each visit. The staff is great, facilities are clean and I gained 5 ponds on vacation for which they are partially responsible. Thumbs up x 2!! read more

We got a sundae which is an excellent deal. In addition to having amazing cookies, they also have delicious ice cream. I got the chocolate chip espresso and cookies and cream ice cream as the scoops. Both were fantastic. The cookies and cream flavor stood out though since it appears to be home made. The Oreo in the ice cream was soft and plentiful. So good. Can't wait to come back. read more

My daughter brought me here knowing my love of ice cream. Cookies and Cream did not disappoint. I sampled the lemon crunch and black raspberry before deciding on butter pecan. Rich and creamy with large chunks of pecans, I got two scoops in a cup. My daughter also got butter pecan, in a freshly made waffle cone. Her boyfriend had the cookies and cream, also in a giant waffle cone. Open for just a few months but well on their way to be a staple in South Nags Head. Open Monday thru Saturday 2:00 till 10:30 pm I would definitely recommend them for hard ice cream, shakes, milk in glass bottles and home made cookies. read more

CAREFUL! Almost hurt my jaw after eating here because of how far it dropped with how good their dessert is. This place puts cookies in your ice cream and acts like they haven't just made the greatest culinary creation in the modern era. If you're in the OBX and haven't hit Cookies & Cream up, you're either new around here or just don't know what's good for you. This place surely will not disappoint. 10/10. read more

Went here last summer while on vacation with my family. I loved it! The ice cream is so nice a rich and creamy, the cookies were fantastic. The cookies were fresh out of the oven and were some of the best cookies i've ever had. Me and my family went there shortly after the store actually opened for business and we will definitely be going back on our next vacation down in two weeks. Found this little gem on our most recent OBX trip. The ice cream was great (brownie was my favorite) the shop itself was adorable, probably because it's decorated like our farmhouse at home.
