Holy Cow, this ice cream is utterly amazing! The line was long - which is a sign this is good :) once we got inside, it was nice and clean with friendly staff. Absolutely our family's favorite ice cream shop during our stay! First of all, such a clean, and simple modern design for an ice cream shop. As soon as you enter, the smell of cookies are mesmerizing, and gets the taste buds salivating. We actually enjoyed the limited number of ice cream flavors, maybe a dozen choices or so, but I felt like it helped move the line much quicker. They also have 9 or so options for cookies, all the ones we got were warm and melted wonderfully in the cups of ice cream we got! a few of us opted for the Heifer Cookie Sundae. Two scoops of your choice of ice cream, and a cookie of your choice. Talk about delicious, and the best price, all for $8.00! Our son ordered the Combine, and he said it was his best milkshake he's had all week. Choice of ice cream, choice of cookie and choice of milk. To top it off, the service was the best. This place is great!! I'm in Nags Head for a family reunion with my wife and we've been here almost every night. The owner and staff are super friendly and they had a great variety of ice cream. My wife is not usually a person who would go for a traditional vanilla flavor but she said it's the best she's ever had and now she's hooked. It's definitely a must go when you are in town read more

The ice cream and homemade cookies are to die for!! Bonus points if you're pregnant, it really hits the spot haha!! We will be back here everytime we are in the area. Not sure if the long line was because of the stormy weather or bc the neighboring ice cream place was out of business, but the wait was very long. There were 3 staff members working hard and fast and eventually a 4th came to assist, which helped. The place smelled amazing bc the cookies were being baked. Staff was very nice and patient with us and our children. The ice cream selection was limited, but the actual ice cream was very good. We didn't get any cookies but if they taste as good as they smell we missed out!! read more

It's just not fair that the ice cream is great and so are the cookies. I didn't want a cookie Sundae, but I was left with no choice. And it did not disappoint. While visiting, we visited 3 times and loved each visit. The staff is great, facilities are clean and I gained 5 ponds on vacation for which they are partially responsible. Thumbs up x 2!! read more

They also offer military discount. A+ for our active military and veterans. The ice cream was great. Think froyo style places where it's based off weight. I had a mixture of Vanilla, pretzel, and cheesecake. I liked the cheesecake best especially with the cheesecake toppings. My friend got an ice cream sandwich, note she isn't a super sweets person but she really enjoyed it. She did say the cookie part of the sandwich was a bit too sugary for her personally. Me on the other hand, bring on the sugar. The kids had an awesome time selecting their ice cream and toppings. Every one of them loved being able to make their own decisions and create exactly what they wanted. As for the toppings I do wish they had crushed graham crackers, would have been great with the cheesecake bites. Note* Slowly pull the handle for ice cream. Some come out way faster than others and you end up with a way too filled bowl. Overall an excellent experience and a certified Surfin' Spoon roadie! Just need to grab some merch next time to show them off as I travel!

Went here last summer while on vacation with my family. I loved it! The ice cream is so nice a rich and creamy, the cookies were fantastic. The cookies were fresh out of the oven and were some of the best cookies i've ever had. Me and my family went there shortly after the store actually opened for business and we will definitely be going back on our next vacation down in two weeks.
