This store always has the cutest clothes with the best quality! I needed an outfit to go out to dinner in and Savana was so helpful, she asked about the color and style I was thinking of and picked a few different outfits off the racks for me to try on. I fell in love with this stone gray simple but really comfy romper with a low back and pockets. She said that I could dress it up with some cute accessories for my night out and I could also use it casually for going shopping or running errands. I love an outfit that is versatile! I really appreciated the time and advice she offered. Every time someone compliments my romper I tell them to go to Cookies in Windward Mall and ask for Savana, she will help you find something you'll fall in love with! This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. This most recent time, I went in looking for a gift. I left disappointed and pissed off. None of the employees said anything to me when I came in. None of them said anything to me while I was looking through the racks. Yet, they were more than happy to greet customers that were, literally, 3 feet away from me. None of the employees asked me if I needed help or anything, and yet some other ladies that were nearby were helped. What the hell kind of service is that? So I walked in 15 minutes ago and there are two sales people and not one greeted me nor asked me if I needed any help. no other customer is in here so I'm either invisible or they're rude but I think it's a combination of both. I rate them only two stars because of the lack of customer service and although their clothes are cute, you still need customer service to sell. If I needed advice or had a question, if there's no one around to answer then how do you sell? how do I get any blouses down if I need something? So I need to reach up on my own and get it? I think I will shop Eden In Love all the way back in town instead. They have awesome customer service and similar items. I would rather drive the extra 20 minutes to get better customer service than to walk right across the street from where I work to be ignored! I rarely shop for clothing for myself. While I love clothes and fashion, it's simply a budget thing that keeps me from the mall. Nevertheless, I wandered into Cookie's out of curiosity. My 'budget' occasionally allows for Ross, and while I will always appreciate the deals I've found there, I've come to greatly appreciate what boutiques have to offer. WHERE: Cookie's Clothing Co is at the start of the Macy's wing of Windward Mall in Kane'ohe. WHEN: Saturday afternoon; customers came in and out, trying things on and making purchases; it wasn't overly crowded, but did have a nice flow. SERVICE: 5 stars for KATY, General Manager (I think that's her title; I apologize if I'm wrong) When I walked in, I started looking around and immediately found a cute dress. A sales associate (Katy) offered to start a dressing room for me and I accepted. She was professional and well-dressed with accessories, pretty hair and makeup, with a friendly demeanor. I say this simply because she did a fantastic job representing the feel and style of her store, making me ~ the customer ~ even more curious about what I could find. As I was browsing, she came over to ask a few questions about what I was looking at and made some suggestions. I decided to follow her lead, as I was impressed with her own outfit choice and could tell we shared a similar style preference. She was knowledgeable, not only about Cookie's, but style, color, Fall fashion, etc. When she took me to the dressing room, I felt comfortable sharing my thoughts on a few pieces I was curious about, or had always wanted to attempt to wear but was concerned about this or that. She listened closely, relating to what I shared, and went to find what she thought would work for me, considering my shape and height. She brought back several lovely pieces, which I tried on successfully. MY PURCHASE: (pictures posted soon) I showed her each outfit, asking for her true opinion. When I tried on a dress (that I might never have tried on in the past), she immediately suggested a belt that would draw the waistline in and give the dress a LOT more style. She was SPOT ON. We talked about shoes that would match, and I fortunately had a pair at home. She helped me find two tops (from a wide assortment of colors) to go with two long skirts...a style I've always admired on other women, but never wore myself because I always assumed I was too short. She said the store carried various styles of these long skirts and that the ones she brought me would work with my height/body type. I was so pleased and very pleasantly surprised when I tried them on. PRICE: At the counter, I talked about Yelp and she gave me a 10% discount on my entire purchase. I was SO grateful for the savings, especially because this was a rare event: me clothes-shopping for myself. Prices are what you would expect from a Boutique type store. Not super cheap, but not crazy expensive either. My expectation is that - unlike Ross, where I find holes in my clothes after a few wears - the clothing from Cookie's, if properly cared for, will last a while longer. We (myself, Katy and another friendly sales associated) talked story for a little while about various topics before I thanked them and said goodbye. Katy let me take a picture with her. If I could take her along for all my future shopping trips to run things by her and double check that I was making good choices in clothing and accessories, I surely would! Went there a couple weeks ago and was helped by Savana with an outfit I needed specifically down to the specific material that I needed and wanted that I know cookies had. She showed me the material of the clothes I wanted down to every single color. Came back and she wasn't there, but whoever was, wasn't helpful much. Waited a couple more times and even called the store asking when she was working because she helped me well. Went back when she was working and bought hundreds in the material clothing that I liked. This place is addicting! I work in the mall and it's hard to stay away! This little boutique has some of the cutest clothes! Some pricey and some reasonable. There is just a wide range. My mother, who's a plus size 50 year old woman, also shops here! The customer service here is great! I was looking for an outfit to wear to a dinner and as I walked in, the associate welcomed me in and asked if there was anything specific I was looking for. So I told her, "I'm looking for something to wear to a simple sit down dinner with friends, and I don't want to look hoochie. It needs to have sleeves and can also be worn as an everyday type of thing" and she grabbed a few pieces for me to try on while I looked around for some things that I might like. There are NO RETURNS. Even if it is a regular priced item. Sale items, hats, accessories and many other items are ALL SALES FINAL. Sounds like dirty words to me... I recently received a gift from Cookie's. The gift wasn't my style or fit so I went to return it two days after I had received it. I had a gift receipt. The lovely lady at the register helped me by taking my return and to give me the amount of what I have to work with if I wanted to exchange for something. I found the same top in one of the racks in a different color for more than what she credit me. I asked her why is it different? She said that it was what the gift receipt was pulling up. I looked at the credit she gave me and told her that my top is a small and the receipt is showing that it's a large, perhaps there's a mistake in the gift receipt or with their computer system. She took my name and number, told me that she's going to have her manager call me. That was Thursday. I spoke to my girlfriend that gave me the gift and she told me she paid way more than what was given back to me. She dug into her purse for the original receipt to go back and get it justified. On Monday, I called the number on the receipt and it was directed to the Mililani store. I had to look up the number for the Windward Mall one. When I called and asked for the manager, I was told she wasn't in. This morning, I did get a call from the manager, Natalie. She told me she corrected the difference and it was under my name. There are a lot of cute stuff in there, but many is not my style. There are NO RETURNS - "it says so on the receipt". Cute store, clean, and I love all the furnishings and the clothes/accessories/jewelry they sell. So many cute clothes were on sale and we were helped beyond expectations! I've always shopped here at Cookie's checking out the latest for years, but this time I was reaching up (I'm 5' 6") to see what size the blouse was and this mature sales woman darts from across the store yelling, "Don't break anything" from behind me, everyone in the store just looked at me. This location is big compared to what I'm used to at Mililani. The customer service is also not like Mililani, it lacks friendliness. Although they probably have 5x more items, they aren't as cute. My daughter's Hula Halau is located nearby so we figured we stop by the mall after her class before heading home. I saw on their Instagram that they had buy 5 items get 35% off. I was only interested in getting a particular dress so if I found more stuff then hey, lucky me! Anyways, when I got there the sales associates tells me and all the other women that walk in that they have a special buy 5 SALE items get 35% off. Everyone seemed just as confused as I was and some even looked a bit disappointed. I love the clothing selection and prices of Cookies. This location at Windward mall is my favorite due to the size of the store. It's larger than most or all the locations and therefore a wider selection of clothes. The reason for a 3 star rating is for the staff here. I have frequented this location several times over the years they've been here and the customer service seems to decline further with each visit. I was last here on 2/3/19 in the afternoon and 2 associates were working. It was a Sunday and there were a few other customers in the shop along with myself. The 2 associates "working" were going in and out of the dressing room trying on outfits for each other. In between they would ask if anyone needed help as they are helping themselves to trying on outfits. So unprofessional and I left as I was getting irritated. I absolutely adore this store. I've been shopping here at cookies windward mall for years ! They have unique styles and the quality of their clothing is excellent! When I shop there (which is pretty often) I am greeted by the most friendliest staff. Bernadette has been there for a while now and she is always attentive and really personable. They don't call me the "cookie monster" for nothin...I LOVE cookies. This is another 4 1/2 starrer so 4 stars will have to do. The staff in here is genuinely friendly and always willing to help. They greet you and treat you as if you truly are a guest. Their selection is pretty diverse and their prices are very reasonable. I have gotten more compliments on a $15 wallet I bought from there than any other leather good I own. The only drawback? The quality is not-tippy top but I would guess that is how they maintain decent prices. If you are at Windward Mall and are looking for your boutique fix head on over to Cookies. I have gone to many Cookies locations and the Windward mall location is by far one of my worst customer service experiences. Every time I go I always have an event to attend. No one approaches me, I have to ask the questions. When I ask the question you would think they would take the opportunity to ask me questions to help me with options. Employees should have product knowledge to help every customer that walks through the door. I ended up walking out and then walking back in to make a purchase. Pretty much a self service store for the prices you send and that is terrible. I recently went in for another public event and after self shopping again. I was finally asked if I wanted to join some rewards club. Gosh with all the money I have already spent in this store I would have saved lots. One of the worst boutique shops I have ever shopped at.
