Breakfast with Belgian waffle,eggs, bacon, and substituting tomatoes for hash browns--"Do you want the to atoes grilled or fresh?" I tried them grilled because the opti9n was unfamiliar. Even the grilled tomatoes are good! I thought the "Butter & Eggs" sign by the restrooms was a bit kinky, but things may be different in Canada. Cookies is by far the best breakfast in Chilliwack. It's always busy so be early and expect a wait on the weekends. As for food I always get the classic breakfast from off the menu. My favourite restaurant in Chilliwack. Tucked away in an industrial area, this diner serves hearty, delicious breakfasts at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly. My grandparents are regulars here and the servers remember their usual order. Décor looks like a cross between grandma's kitchen and a bingo hall. Some of the chairs are made of wood but most of the tables and chairs are the commercial grade folding ones that can be bought at Costco. The best part is the food. Truck stop style comfort food. I've had both the pancakes with sausage and scrambled eggs and the schnitzel in mushroom gravy (Schnitzel Champignon) on separate visits. The pancakes were big and fluffy and done perfectly. The schnitzel was nice and crispy and didn't get soggy because of the gravy. Portion sizes are generous. You will leave the restaurant feeling full. The parking lot is usually full. Don't park in stalls reserved for neighbouring businesses; park on the street instead. read more

I enjoyed their Banana Nutella french toast with whipped topping with caramel drizzle and powdered sugar. The two slices of french toast had banana and nutella between the two slices with more banana and whipping on top. It's hard not to love a breakfast like this. The service was relatively quick. The place was kinda busy at 6am, but my food came out in a timely fashion. Waiter was kinda to refill my coffee a couple of times. Service was nothing remarkable, but If I am in the area looking for breakfast I would come back to this place. read more

We are always looking for the next breakfast spot. We love supporting small businesses. This was our first time going here. We will definitely come back. I had the stuff French toast the sausage was absolutely delicious and so was the French toast my partner had the meat lovers skillet it was very filling. I love the shabby chic decor. All the waitresses were very busy they never stop moving always making sure that the customers had everything they needed sanitizing after people left. I can't believe they open at 5:30 that's almost unheard of great for people who want to hit the road early or before they go to work. Took my family to cookies grill. Had heard many wonderful things about cookies grill. We arrived to a relatively busy post lunch crowd at cookies. Found our own seats and our server was Kendra she was super personable and very attentive and took great care of our table as we had 2 kids under tHe age of 4 she happily helped deal with them. We ordered many thing, I had a beef dip with buffalo cauliflower. My wife had a bowl of borscht and the onion ring tower. My daughters has chicken finger combos with veggies and a side of fries. The beef so wood delicious, fresh soft bread, moist beef, caramelized onions & mushrooms, topped with melted cheese and a bowl of jus. The sandwich was great and full of flavour. The soup was made it house and packed a lot of flavour. The onion ring tower was golden and crispy. Came with two delicious dips (ranch and the best chipotle dip I've ever had) The service was spectacular and the food matched it. We will be Back and we will be hungry! read more

The pricing here is so cheap for all of the things that you get they have a huge selection for breakfast lunch and dinner. Stopped into this place on the way to Manning Park. Yelped breakfast and brunch places in the area and this came up. We ordered the Big Bold Breakfast and the California Benny. I have to say, I didn't know what to expect as it was on this industrial road but I have to say that this place was awesome! Both our orders were delicious and the service was very friendly. This place is just THE BEST for breakfast. My family and I are always trying to rush here after church on Sundays...and boy is it packed. I think they could even benefit from expanding the place. Anyway, all of the breakfast omelettes are pretty good. My little brother-in-law always struggles to finish his because it's a decent sized portion. c: But well worth it! I'd also recommend the meatloaf. It's not as sweet as some other people do it, (which I personally like) and it's topped with some mushrooms (which I love). The service has almost always been great for us. The last time, there was a new waitress who got a lot wrong, but she refused to take a tip and was just.. a really nice person? Only thing I dont like is how close you sit to everyone else that's eating there.
