Wow! These cookies are phenomenal! Most people have had the Honolulu cookie company cookies - either from the actual store, or from Costco that now carry their family size miniature cookie bag. However, once you have the pineapple macadamia or any other cookies here, you will know that this is even better. You can find them in some grocery stores, but going to their warehouse is the best for the reason of 1) fresh! 2) better price as you cut out the middle man and directly benefit the actual makers of these amazing cookies. There's no sampling here, but you don't need to as you can buy a selection, try them and then get more of what you like another day. In January, each bag of cookie was $4 (yes! My cousin could not stop raving about these cookies, so we made a pit stop and came to the source! Now I understand and appreciate why she enjoys these so much! This is not your typical cookie. Personally I prefer a soft and chewy cookie. Theirs are airy and crispy which make them uniquely their own...delicious nonetheless! The friendly "auntie" at the factory said they've been there for years, and still going strong! You can purchase them for $4/pack. This cookie factory might be difficult to find because it's located next to other industrial-like buildings and businesses. You'll probably think it doesn't exist but I'm telling you... IT DOES. You'll probably think they don't even sell cookies here, but they do. They don't really have a sign along the street to help you find their spot but follow maps as best as you can and looking for their Cook Kwees sign on their actual business location, Yes, it's a garage looking spot but park, walk in and someone will be with you shortly. You'll most likely smell the fresh cookies baking in their huuuuuuuge oven, too! They have 10 flavors and each bag is $3 each, I'm telling you... it's worth it. More fresh, saves you a little cash compared to getting it at a store. If you're trying to buy gifts for people, this should be on your list. The boo and I bought 2 of every flavor except for shortbread. See my picture for their flavors! It was worth the buy because our families back home loved it a lot! I love the Maui Cookies and especially it's on Sale at Longs Drug right now. My favorite is the White chocolate macadamia nut. But be very careful of the expiration date it shows 9/20 which is 2 months old. The other Cookies have a longer shelf life as you can see on my pics I took. I notice not only at Longs have this problem with this vendor I seen the same problem at Times supermarket as well. I understand sometimes you still can eat certain items after the expiration date but not these cookies because it taste oily and rancid. So beware if your purchase these type of cookies in the future make sure you check the expiration date. Support local and keep safe read more

I noticed I haven't written a review before, so I figured it was about time. I prefer going to the warehouse to buy my cookies, since I'll spend less and can pick whatever flavors I desire. They also put them into a box, which makes them easier to hand-carry back home. You can find these cookies in the store, but since I was back on Maui recently, I decided to just grab them while I was in Kahului. The cookies are nice and crispy and come in a variety of flavors for you to enjoy. My fave is the Chocolate Chip Mac Nut, but I pretty much enjoy all of them. You can't go wrong! read more

Cook Kwee's Maui Cookies are shortbread cookies made in Maui. Cookies are always a yummy treat, and these locally-made cookies are a great gift to take home with you. There are a few different flavors to choose from. Some of the flavors are chocolate chip, chocolate chip macadamia nut, peanut butter, pineapple macadamia nut, and Kona coffee macadamia nut. Each flavor comes in a 6 oz bag, and each bag has 9 cookies. Some people rave that these are the best cookies on earth. Personally, I think these cookies are good but not mind-blowing amazing. This location is the warehouse. It is not a gift shop. It is not a store. It is a warehouse. There are no posted business hours so you can try your luck, or you can call before coming. It is probably safe to assume something along normal business hours though. Parking is available on the street though it may be tough to find a spot on the weekdays due to the location being around a bunch of other warehouses and businesses. I easily found parking on a Saturday. The cookies are $3 for each bag. You can also buy a box that can hold 3 bags. It is much cheaper to buy it directly from the warehouse than from a grocery store or gift shop. Stock up on Maui cookies here! read more

As the other reviews have stated it's a little hard to find but rolled down the window and take a deep breath and follow the aroma as you drive up and see them making fresh batches of cookies. We were greeted as we walked up and were given a list a flavors. They have about 10 different ones. The price is cheaper than in the stores. We went to Walmart and saw their packages were 1.50 more than what we paid. That is the equivalent of an extra bag of cookies if you buy 3 or more! read more

Went round and round in circles but so glad we found this place. As soon as I seen the cookie sign, I could smell the fresh baked cookie smell in the air. It was hard to find an available parking as there are near by businesses all around. But I was able to park our vehicle right across near the dumpster there wasn't any smell lol As we walked up, I was kind of double thinking myself as if I could walk in as a customer and just buy cookies by the bags but I said I took the drive so I gotta at least ask. There's lots and lots of boxes of cookies towering along the side and backside of the racks. Soon enough a female comes out pushing lot of cookies freshly backed on a cookie cooling rack. OMG. I was drooling. I kindly asked the lady if I could purchase, she didn't turn us down, she immediately said ofcourse. We talked stories and soon enough found out that she bought out the owners a few years ago. I met the previous owners back on Oahu so the owner and I ended up talking more. She was so nice. Love this place. I went in for broken cookies. Love them, all the cookies that r not perfectly round r placed in plastic bags. In the past they sold this for just a couple of dollars. Total hidden gem! So glad I found this place on yelp! It's in a warehouse and a little creepy when you walk in. The garage door was open so we walked in and said "hellllloooo?" My husband and I visited the factory/shop where they actually make the cookies while on vacation. Everyone was absolutely the friendliest people we encountered on the island. We brought a bunch of cookies home with us. Unfortunately, I didn't taste the pineapple macadamia cookie until we were already home, because OMG they are good!!! The pineapple is ground up in the cookie, so there are no chunks, but the flavor is evenly distributed throughout. They are super crispy and light- the bag was gone before I knew it!! I wish there were more macadamias, though.... I will be stocking up on these as soon as I get a chance!! read more
