Yes, it's in a warehouse area but they DO sell cookies! This is a must stop!! The cookies are super fresh and the guy selling it is filled with Aloha spirit. I highly recommend going directly to the source of these yummy cookies. They were $4 each.

    Enjoying my CookKwees at work!

My cookies were brought to me straight from Maui to Manitou Springs, CO! Love them!!

Stumbled upon these Maui cookies when we got a free sample at a local hotel we were staying and they were so good that we went to the factory to buy more! No tours given, unassuming factory looking building where they produce the cookies. Nice lady comes out to you when you pull up and asks what flavors you want. Got 6 different flavors to try! $3.50 a bag if you pay with cash!

Maui trip 8/17-8/23/2021! *Vaccinated. Masked. Stayed away from large crowds as much as possible. Respected the land.* If you're a Cookie Monster like me... you have to go to Cook Kwee's!!! This cookie factory might be difficult to find because it's located next to other industrial-like buildings and businesses. You'll probably think it doesn't exist but I'm telling you... IT DOES. You'll probably think they don't even sell cookies here, but they do. They don't really have a sign along the street to help you find their spot but follow maps as best as you can and looking for their Cook Kwees sign on their actual business location, Yes, it's a garage looking spot but park, walk in and someone will be with you shortly. You'll most likely smell the fresh cookies baking in their huuuuuuuge oven, too! They have 10 flavors and each bag is $3 each, I'm telling you... it's worth it. More fresh, saves you a little cash compared to getting it at a store. If you're trying to buy gifts for people, this should be on your list. The boo and I bought 2 of every flavor except for shortbread. See my picture for their flavors! It was worth the buy because our families back home loved it a lot! They bake and package every yummy cookie in here which is pretty cool to experience tbh. Let me talk about the cookie. It looks thick but there's something about its airy-ness that make it so unique. When you take a bite, it's almost like you're actually eating a thinner cookie; almost like a crust of something which gives you that crunchy and buttery cookie consistency. The flavors also did not disappoint! So if you're ever in the area, I 100% recommend checking out this cookie factory for your cookies cravings.

The smell of fresh cookies lead us to the bakery where we chose several flavors to take home.

INCREDIBLY good cookies. Everywhere we stopped we bought a different flavor if we could. On the way home I went to the warehouse and bought a whole box to bring back to Florida. Everyone I gave them to raved about them. I dont know what they do to them, but no one makes cookies like this. We are super fans for life!

I love the Maui Cookies and especially it's on Sale at Longs Drug right now. My favorite is the White chocolate macadamia nut. But be very careful of the expiration date it shows 9/20 which is 2 months old. The other Cookies have a longer shelf life as you can see on my pics I took. I notice not only at Longs have this problem with this vendor I seen the same problem at Times supermarket as well. I understand sometimes you still can eat certain items after the expiration date but not these cookies because it taste oily and rancid. So beware if your purchase these type of cookies in the future make sure you check the expiration date. Support local and keep safe

Just some of the cookies I bought.

I noticed I haven't written a review before, so I figured it was about time. I prefer going to the warehouse to buy my cookies, since I'll spend less and can pick whatever flavors I desire. They also put them into a box, which makes them easier to hand-carry back home. You can find these cookies in the store, but since I was back on Maui recently, I decided to just grab them while I was in Kahului. The cookies are nice and crispy and come in a variety of flavors for you to enjoy. My fave is the Chocolate Chip Mac Nut, but I pretty much enjoy all of them. You can't go wrong!

The shop itself was very clean and spacious with comfy seating. The line was quite long - but it moved along quickly. Freshness First: Because they open bright and early at 6:00 AM, getting them warm means you are catching them at peak texture--crisp, airy, and meltingly soft. Mouth-Watering Savories & Pies It's rare for a bakery to completely master both ends of the spectrum, but they strike an incredible balance between decadent sweetness and rich, savory comfort: The Quiche: Getting a morning slice with a perfectly flaky, buttery crust and a rich, velvety egg custard is the ultimate savory breakfast comfort. The Key Lime Pie: A masterclass in balance. The sharp, refreshing pucker of the lime curd pairs flawlessly with a thick, buttery graham cracker crust, making it the ultimate mid-day or post-beach treat. I was also told that Pukalani Superette also carries the Manjookies, but truthfully, I've never noticed the Manjookies, probably because I was sidetracked by their Chili Frrrrrrried Chicken, everytime I go to Pukalani Superette! Lol! Today, I finally got my Manjookie fix as one of my good friends - Nathan Y. brought me back a omiyage gift pack of Manjookies that consisted of - Lilikoi Pineapple, Strawberry, Matacha, Blueberry, Ube, & Cranberry Guava. What can I say about da Manjookies??? It is as advertised! The Manjookies have a different texture from traditional manju, & their unique fillings are not too sweet. I didn't eat all six Manjookies by myself, as I shared it with my ohana. I can see why folks would dig this treat, as it's like a hybrid of a manju & cookie! Great unique fillings and nice cookie texture! Da verdict? Majookie is Winnah's!
