There is going to be a line almost always because the shop is small. Icing is not included but it's only .85¢ to add and if you get 5 rolls the 6th is free. I have not had cinnamon rolls like these in decades only because my brother's ex-girlfriend mom had made really good ones too. Frosting is offered on the side for the sole purpose of them being able to add more gooey to the cinnamon roll. It's heavenly. I get its long lines! On New Year's Day, we waited in line for around 10 minutes and waited another 20 for a 6 pack of their original cinnamon rolls. If you buy 5, the 6th is free. The total, with a frosting for each, came out to a little over $35. The cream cheese frosting is not included in the order so you have to add on. The rolls came out so hot and fresh! I had an excellent cinnamon roll here when I was staying in Kihei a week ago. I'm so glad that we happened to be staying at a hotel that was walking distance from the Cinnamon Roll Place. There was a short line when I arrived. This is an order-and-go kind of place with a few tables outside on the sidewalk. I thought they only had cinnamon rolls, but they also have banana bread, scones, brownies, sandwiches, coffees, and teas. I only got one classic cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting and my timing was just right; if they run out of rolls, you have to wait while they bake up a new batch. Once I left, the line had grown substantially, so just be patient if you do have to wait; the roll is worth it. *The store is closed on Tuesdays. They sell breads, scones, breakfast sandwiches, coffee , teas and of course cinnamon The parking lot in front of their restaurant is very busy but at 7am there are plenty of empty parking spaces. They have one or 2 tables outside the restaurant but it's almost always occupied. So you're more likely to take your food to go.
