I had a bao bun...I was a bit surprised they didn't have any mustard for them. Maybe it's not used in Vietnam, but in a lot of other Asian countries they've imported the basic bun, and many of them use a hot mustard with it. I missed that. No alcoholic drinks. I wish their "bakery" had more good, too. Still, not a bad addition to Maryville, for lunch places.

Now that I live here, I go here regularly and on one of my recent visits I noticed some changes to the inside. The guy helping me, Anthony, explained that he was the new owner and filled me in some more on the Clean Juice story and his family's journey in operating this location. So far it seems like all the changes have been positive and it's only going to get better and better. I wish every town had a Clean Juice since no other juice bars are USDA certified organic. Anthony said he'd just gone through an Organic Audit and it was extremely thorough. By eating organic juice and smoothies you know your ingredients are pesticide free, among other benefits,which is really important. This visit was specifically to try the 2023 Knoxville Vegan Challenge menu item: The Veggie Wrap. Also had a Basic One smoothie. Both were delicious, as everything I've ever tried here has been.

The small shop consists of a walk up window and drive-thru (similar to how Sonic operates). My mom ordered a hot cappuccino, I got the iced Southern Belle, and my sister got a soft serve. My mom was very satisfied with her cappuccino (we customized her drink a little when ordering and they actually listened and delivered). Neither of us like anything very sugary so coffee is usually a hit or miss with us - it's either made with no sugar or way too much. This wasn't the case with QuickFix and I think they deserve recognition for this. My drink was nothing extraordinary but I really enjoyed it, the sugar level was just right and the splash of espresso was very inviting without being overpowering. I can see why it's one of their signatures... it's like a classic that you can never go wrong with. There were only two young girls working there (I remembered one had darker blonde or light brown hair and the other is lighter blonde) and the one who took our order (darker blonde) also made my Southern Belle drink. She was so sweet that she makes me wanna come back. She told us the store's 5 year anniversary was coming up so they will be having deals that weekend which I had looked forward to, but our vacation was pretty short and I didn't get a chance to go back.
