This is the 2nd time I've used Cook's for some work on my car. I have never had a shop go so far above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Yesterday my car's automatic window stopped working. So I called Cooks and told them the situation. I spoke with Vic over the phone and he told me I needed a new regulator based on what I was seeing. He told me to bring the car over. By the time I brought the car in, he had already ordered not 1 but 2 regulators because he wasn't sure which one my car needed. It was the end of the day so we agreed I'd come back 1st thing the next morning and he'd have the parts and fix the car asap. So I come back the next morning and drop my car off. Less then 3 hours later I get a call that the car is fixed! Which is pretty amazing. They went above and beyond...by getting a back up regulator that they'll have to physically return themselves later...and fitting my car in immediately. The rock missed my window by a few inches and did a surprising amount of damage to my car (it was a big rock!). Jack was so compassionate and understanding. I had a positive experience with Cook's Corner Auto Body. Somebody side swiped my GLS450 in a parking lot and dented the rear. I needed it to be repaired and repainted as the car was going to be sold soon. Jack and his team did a great job, communication was good and the price was fair. Should be called Crooks Corner! I dropped off my car to be looked at by my insurance company and they held my car hostage! They charged $250 per day for storage and they delayed the storage by pretending they sent in photos to my Insurance when they did not: my insurance company offered to pay $1925 for 11 days and they refused to accept the money so they kept my car instead. My car was a total loss and since they knew they were not going to fix, they decided to keep my Toyota Camry as they did not let my insurance pick up so I lost they value of the salvage vehicle to CROOKS CORNER . The side of my car had a run-in with the side of a building via a tiny 1930's driveway in downtown L.A., so I took it to Cook's Corner which we consider to be our family auto repair facility. Unbeknownst to us, they were sold a bit ago but we quickly learned from Jack, one of the Managers there, that they still had the same employees with the same quality, reasonable prices and on-time work with amazing Customer Service, so we left my "baby", my Toyota RAV4 ("RAVI") for repair/ paint of the side door. Well, Cook's Corner did not disappoint! Not only did Jack communicate well throughout the process (something that is SUPER important for me, especially being a "communicator" myself!) and he delivered my car ON TIME as processed! In addition, when I picked it up, there was one thing this new regime did even better than the former owner: they washed my car INSIDE as well as outside!!! I had planned to have that done after picking the car up but it was such a nice surprise to have it already completed! That saved me an additional $20!! (I think this should be required after putting any vehicle in for any service or repair, don't you?!?!) This has to be one of the best body shops that I have ever been to. My first interaction with this company was when another shop destroyed my front bumper by "body matching" the color. My car was pearl white and my bumper was yellow after the previous body shop attempted to color match it two times. I arrived at Cook's Corner and Jack came outside immediately to help me out. I explained the situation to him and he told me they would be able to match it to the exact designo pearl white that was original on my Mercedes. I went back a few days later and it was exactly as described. Since then I have taken a few cars there and they have all been the same quality of work. I currently have a custom project being worked on by them and Jack has followed up with me throughout every step of the way. Great shop and honest guys! I brought my truck in to get the sunroof frame replaced after getting really high pricing from the dealership (no surprise there). Even after ordering the parts, they spend a considerate amount of time looking for a used one to try to save me money. In the end they couldn't find one and we stayed with the new part. A recent, happy experience reminded me that I had not left a review several months ago when they repaired damage from a rear-end collision. The repairs were done in just a few days and the work was superb, with excellent fit and finish. I had been concerned that the trunk might not open and close properly, but it works perfectly. Yes, there are other shops that do good work, but the thing that sets Cook's Corner apart is the service. Many businesses are staffed with folks who do their jobs mechanically, with little customer engagement. Here, the office staff are happy, welcoming and they work well together. From estimating to working with the insurance carrier to getting the car back on the road, they are responsive, proficient, and friendly. The reminder happened when somebody swiped the front end of the car in a parking lot and the bumper was knocked loose. I went for an estimate and, instead, they kindly put it back in place with a new fastener while I waited. That shows a concern for customer satisfaction that is increasingly rare in our busy world. I was referred to Cook's Corner by a good neighbor to repair my Audi. My neighbor said, "You have to take your car to Cook's because they will restore it in brand new condition. They are professional, friendly and honest! I have been going to Cook's for years and matter of fact I need some repair done now. Please check them out!" My reaction was, WOW! They must be good. I googled and of course checked Yelp - thumbs up on the reviews. I called, made an appointment to drop off my car with Kendall (the owner's son) and they arranged for Enterprise Rental to pick me up. Kendall is da BOMB! There were some issue with the other party's insurance company who was responsible but Kendall stood his ground when the insurance company tried to low-ball the estimate. Kendall, said don't worry about having your car repaired properly because we will not touch it until the insurance company improved the full amount. I told Kendall to handle his bizness and however long it takes - it takes. I was cool riding around in a 2018 MB GLC 300 with 31 Miles -- sure take your time approving the claim. Long story short - 5 weeks later I get my baby back!!! Kendall and crew did an amazing job! My car looks brand new like it's never been hit. Beautiful work!
