I met a group of friends at Cool Beans Coffee House and was pleasantly surprised by how extensive their menu is. I was expecting just coffee and maybe a few desserts, but they actually offer a wide variety of food options, from wraps and salads to nachos and burgers. I started with a hot chocolate, which came topped with whipped cream and was a great way to kick things off. It was hard to choose from the menu, but I have a weakness for nachos, so I went with the chicken nachos and they definitely did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and flavorful. My friends were happy with their meals as well, and the manager even stopped by our table to let us know about their karaoke night, which was a nice touch. Someone I've been chatting with for a romantic relationship was going to be in my area and asked me if I wanted to grab something to eat or meet up and she picked this place. iIt was kind of early for me, but I said what the hell even though I had already eaten. I really like the place a lot. I didn't realize there would be so many food options. At first it seemed like a coffee house with dessert and all kinds of breakfast snacks. It turns out they're open until eight at night so they serve dinner too. We talked for a while, and she ordered a cappuccino and I ordered the vanilla caramel drizzle latte. It was good, but it was a little cool, a lot of whipped cream in there. I prefer it much hotter, I will ask the barista next time. We decided to get something to eat and she had a salad with a scoop of chicken salad in it, she seemed to enjoy it and took some home. It also came with pasta salad on the side. I had a baked wrap called Bruschetta, which was basically grilled chicken with mozzarella and bruschetta inside and it came with a choice of sides, but I chose pasta salad. It was absolutely delicious. The pasta salad was a type of pasta I like, it had the right amount of flavor and dressing. I ate half of the wrap and salad and took the rest home. I ate the rest for dinner, and it was just as good heated up in the microwave as it was fresh. The wrap was very flaky and light, absolutely delicious. I'm not sure it was a tortilla. Can't wait to go back to this place. It has very cool decor and they seem to do very good business. I thought it was a chain but it turns out it's a one and done and he's been in business for a long time and I hope he stays in business for as long as he wants. Our server was good. It was a young man and he got very busy. We were there for a little while talking, but he was quite helpful. I might be back before the week is out! It was very quiet on a Sunday 8/24 but my ex came with me here for burgers. We heard they were good. They were great! Charbroiled, cooked to bloody perfection, thick and juicy. My husband, daughter and I went here for the first time yesterday and we were very impressed. We liked everything that we ordered. The French onion soup was excellent and probably the best I've had in quite a while. I enjoyed my French dip on ciabatta bread although I did think it was a little small. I ordered the pasta salad with it, and it was a very generous portion andwas season perfectly. I don't like pasta salad to be overdressed. While on my family vacation in LBI i happened to come across the really nice little coffee shop...the name is accurate it really is "Cool" and the girls who own it/work there were super sweet...I had. 5 minute break from my kids while they were in the bakery next door with my husband so i ran in and made the most perfect cup of coffee ever - thanks so much ladies! I highly recommend this coffee shop - no lines - every kind of sugar (i love turbanado sugar aka sugar in the raw and they had it!) they have flavors syrups and cinnamon and all the extras you could want! I've been going to Cool Beans for years. It's sad to see the quality of food diminish with the rise in prices. I recently ordered the loaded potato skins. This order came with the smallest potatoes I've ever seen used for potato skins. Instead of a large and long russet potato, they used small (likely Yukon gold potatoes). It didn't even look like a potato skin. The taste was good but the quantity of food for the price was just not worth it. read more

This place is really good! It's a cute little restaurant. A lot of good food options. I do wish there was a few more coffee options, given it is a coffee house, but its overall good! My only suggestion is the milk to coffee ratio. I order a coffee with milk or a latte typically, which are both good. They're just a little more milky than I'm used to. The workers are extremely nice and helpful, so I think they'll be accommodating next time I come in. Not sure why this place prides themselves on serving coffee and is named cool beans when their coffee was the absolute worst ive ever had in my life. I ordered a cappuccino and it was clear they gave me old coffee with foam on top. It tasted like motor oil. Why state you serve espresso if you are not willing to make it? My cappuccino came out in under a minute and there was no tapping or steaming noise while it was being made, so im assuming they just poured me a cup of coffee from an old pot. Gross. My coworkers order from here a lot because they have good lunches and also deliver to our office. I got in on their delivery this time. I ordered the Bruschetta Chicken Wrap with the pasta salad. It was actually much better than I was expecting. The wrap was not made with a cold tortilla but instead was made more like a chimichanga. The inside had a good flavor. The pasta salad was made Siciliano style, which I like. 4 Stars instead of 5 because sometimes I just want a traditional coffee house that focuses on coffee. Cool beans is a TR staple. I think I've been going here since I was in intermediate school, 2003. I come here for the baked wraps which set them apart from the standard deli wraps. The broccoli cheddar chicken wrap is a standard with ranch on the side. Italian grill wrap is a great blend. The honey dipped chicken wrap is a sweet chicken take on a honey mustard lovers meal. You can't go wrong with a salad here also. The Cobb salad is probably enough for two very hungry people. It is worth the price. Potato salad is tasty and I prefer hat as the side over the salad or pasta salad which are just standard. Service here is always great. The young women both serving and in coffee bar are friendly, personable and always cheerful. The only downfall is the pricing of food. A standard wrap with a side salad is 12-13$ which is a bit hefty. If I am in the mood for these wraps I know I am paying but it still is a hefty price. I sometimes stop in for a coffee to go. Don't be afraid to ask for your personalized. Reese's and Bavarian mint lattes are sweet and fun. Try the Raspberry Glacier iced with less syrups on a hot day! One of my favorites. read more

Cool Beans is kind of like a coffee shop/diner on a small scale. The wait staff is highly unprofessional but seems like it would be a good place for tweens and teens. We go before seeing movies and sit at the counter but we've never had a great experience so it vexes me why we keep going back? I guess there is no place else that close to grab a cappuccino or bite to eat. Ok, so we walk in, sit at the counter, there is barely anyone in there at the moment. But it seems to take the staff, who are all standing around chatting a few minutes to greet us. Once they do, it's another few minutes before we get our order of drinks. Then it's hard to get their attention to pay since we're trying to get to our movie. If you haven't been to Cool Beans in a couple of weeks, give it a chance again. They recently (I believe a month ago) moved to the opposite side of the Seacourt Pavillion. The place is now VERY clean (new chairs/tables/everything) and cute (light blue walls with brown/wood accents, and still have the paintings on the wall). Menus are new, although the items are still the same with I believe a few additions (I don't remember seeing tacos in their previous spot, but now they offer them and some other stuff). I will definitely be honest and say that some of their food is not that great (hence the 4 stars). Most of the time, people complain about their fried food or burgers because they are probably frozen. However, I am not entirely sure if things have changed since they moved. Perhaps they have stopped. But I am a huge fan of their quiches, pizzettes, and wraps. They were good before, and since the move, I have had the shrimp and broccoli wrap and the classic pizzette. Both were very yummy, as usual. Their drinks are always delicious. I just went today and had the passion and envy hot tea (green passion fruit tea), and my friend had earl grey. We were both pleased! Been going to Cool Beans for about 10 years now. I've always loved the vibe. They've got some new servers on the staff, and I haven't had a complaint yet. read more

Come here for coffee and dessert. That's really their strong suit. The handful of times I've come here for lunch or dinner, I've never been really amazed by the food. Their cheesecakes are awesome and they have really good frapuccino style drinks that are way better than Starbucks. They have live music and psychics during dinner sometimes so it's pretty cool. One of the last few spots in Toms River that isn't completely commercialized so it's a nice departure. It's kind of tucked away in the marshalls plaza so you're not gonna just pass by it, u gotta go there lol read more
