I ordered the sweet treats from here through doordash. They have a really good variety of cookies, cheesecake and cake. I tried the lemon bar, the blueberry cheesecake, the chococalate cake and the creme brulee cheesecake. All seemed fresh and tasted delicious. My only complaint is that it was hard to figure out where to pick up because the whole food court is Daddio's. Service was quick and it was ready within 10 minutes. Ambiance was food court/mall vibes but I was only there to pick up. read more

I was with two young ladies for lunch because I was in the area and after putting change in the parking meter we went to Daddio's Grille on the main drag of Toms River. Karen, our server, said this business has been here five years. We all ordered different meals. Pork roll egg and cheese seemed like a rather skimpy sandwich though she said it tasted fine. I was told the chicken Parm sandwich was also excellent. I had the Chicken Saltimbocca panini which looked and tasted the best of the three but I was being self-centered. There seem to be a brisk activity for take-outs. This place just serves, breakfast and lunch. They also do catering. Food is excellent. I got the Thanksgiving panini and my husband had the Cowboy wrap. The panini bread was think and crispy and delicious.

I wouldn't suggest eating here at Daddio's Grille the kitchen is absolutely disgusting. Food all over the floor nothing is ever cleaned, the grill very rarely gets cleaned and I don't think they change the fryer oil the whole time I worked there about seven or eight months. Not to mention the disgusting dirty nails/hands on Mexican making your food. Eat at your own risk because the kitchen is absolutely disgusting. read more

I've never had a bad experience here, and working close to Daddio's we order out often. The food is always great, I love their salads and they're huge! It's a very busy restaurant during lunch time as the high school kids eat here so you may have some extra waiting time but it is worth it. My wife and I have been attending Toms River Night Out and each week since July. We enjoy it very much and have tried all the restaurant menus. Tonight, we picked a 2 person table outside of Daddio's Grill area. I was sitting there and my husband stepped away to get our beers. The older heavy set women that was running the podium walked over to the table I was sitting at and as she pulled it away from me said "I need this to make a bigger table." I totally understand putting tables together but how about warning me first before just pulling the table away. So my husband and I walked over two tables and picked another 2 seater table. I then walked over to her and asked if that table was okay .She replied with " Are you ordering? Because these tables are for dinner service." I nicely responding yes and she made a face and huffed. Then she said walked over to hand me 2 menus and said " Do you want these?" At this point I had enough and asked her what the problem was. I pointed out that she made a face and huffed at me and I asked if she had a problem because we had a dog with us. She replied no because they have a lot of dogs come through. So I asked again what the problem was and why she reacted the way she did. She responded with " there is no problem I just have 4 reservations". I was so turned off and since we have had nothing but a good time at Toms River Night Out we chose to walk away,sit at the brewery and order Capones pizza . This is so difficult because yes, the food is great, however they screw up takeout and delivery orders all the time. All. The. Time. Forgetting food, messing up items on their actual menu (missing ingredients), and screwing up exclusions/substitutions. I got lunch here in Oct 2016. I had a salad - Southwest Salad or Taco Salad or something like that. (Can't remember the name) 1st - the salad is one of those salads that isn't ready. The type where the ingredients are all separate and the dressing is on the side, w/o me requesting that. I don't understand why the kitchen can't finish making a salad and instead put that work on the customer. Chicken was slice SO thinly I question whether it was actually real chicken or some processed pressed meat. Spice on the chicken was weird. Certainly not blackened (as advertised) bc that actually means the spices were cooked WITH the chicken and not mixed with it, which is what it tasted like. The "cheddar" cheese was also suspect. Had a texture like that fake shredded cheese that's made with soy. Corn seemed canned, which is odd when corn is still in season locally. Dressing was ok, but had that super shiny glazed look of the highly processed liquids. Salad was a little pricey considering about 70% of it is lettuce. Iced tea was fine, but refill service was very slow and a new lemon wasn't added. Overall, I wasn't happy about so many suspect ingredients. Hard to go back to a place that uses fake food. read more

I am reviewing based on the orders that we have delivered to our office a few times a week. We almost always order from the specials menu that is faxed to us daily. There is always something listed that sounds so good we don't even have to check the regular menu. All of us try to eat healthy and can find something fresh and delicious. Today I am loving the grilled chicken spinach and feta and my partner is making food loving noises from her desk while eating the bacon brie and apricot grilled cheese. The owner is rude and they are not nice to their customers at all. Do not recommend going there. All of the employees are rude and nasty. Not a friendly atmosphere.
