My wife and I attended a Premier Pool Open House at their offices with the intent to just "to…read morelook". We met Jeremy and he gave us an idea of what to they do, what to expect, and some light design options from the showroom. He offered to visit our house to make measurements so that he could create some design mockups of possibilities. Within a week or two, Jeremy sent us a "first look". We asked for a few edits here and there given we had no ideas where we wanted to go with it as we completely leveled our existing yard and kept nothing. We were amazed by the first drafts given that we didn't think a pool would fit in our yard comfortably. Jeremy was extremely patient with the design iterations as we played around with ideas. The designs sold us and we were all in! Initially we thought it would take 6-8 weeks for permits to be pulled after we gave the green light to proceed. They ended up being approved in less than a week and we broke ground about week later. Premier was extremely fast with their team of contractors and subcontractors from demolition to full completion. From breaking ground to filling with water was less than a three-month turnaround. With several of those weeks the result of Christmas to New Year's vacation and time it takes for various components like decking or pool interior to cure. Premier was great with communication in terms of letting us know each morning who was coming on any given day. Usually we heard from Jeremy and our construction manager Teo a day or two earlier than Premier's automated emails on next steps. While Jeremy and Teo were clear, it was nice to receive the emails to make sure we heard everything correctly. Pros: Showroom has too many option to choose from! LOL! From textures to colors, there was almost too many. They even recommended visiting tile shops if we wanted to explore other colors. Jeremy was extremely polite and patient. He was readily available by both text and email for any questions we had. Teo was also great at stopping by to check on progress and see if we had any questions. He was also readily available by text message. We had them install a specialty BaduJet Turbo Pro. We pointed them to the website and they took care of all specs to fabricate the pool around it, all additional electrical work, and all additional plumbing. Recommendations for Premier: It would be great if some of the subcontractors were brought "in house" to provide full wraparound services. We opted to install tempered glass so that the pool could be enlarged and moved closer to the house. But we had to coordinate that on our own with a window contractor. We will use their subcontractor to install rock facades on our house. It would be great if they could have done in under the Premier contract at the same time they were doing the pool facades. I get it, they do pools, not houses. Premier took care of all the electrical, water, and gas hook ups that were related to the pool. We had to work with a couple of the subcontractors on the side to add additional sprinkler lines and move some electrical wiring on the side. Those also would have been great if it was done under the Premier contract as well. Premier's contractors and subcontractors obviously knew what they were doing so they pool just kind of came together. It would be great if Premier had a larger portfolio album of actual photos of pools so that we knew in advance what we were getting. We "trusted the process" and it all came together, but I could see some clients desiring to know more in advance. We subcontracted out the construction of a custom kitchen island because Premier doesn't build them (again, because they build pools), providing subcontractors provides another opportunity for Premier to be full service.

However, I never heard back from him. Today is the third week with no service and no response from multiple texts or phone calls. I tried leaving a message on the alternate phone number from the website, but have received no response. I am now left with a green pool and no service (I assume) which is very frustrating. If he didn't want to service my pool any longer, he should've told me three weeks ago, so I wouldn't have a lapse in service and therefore a green pool. Based off previous reviews, it seems common for this company to just ghost their clients and eventually not show up.

From initial site visit, to design, construction, and completion, Robert and his crew did an excellent job. Les took the initiative to visit the county office, ensuring our property lines were accurate, before creating the design and pool footprint. He spent time asking us about our motivation and plans for a pool, and his idea about placement and direction in our limited usable space surpassed our own ideas. Like many construction jobs, ours hit an unforeseen snag with rock formations under the surface area. Robert and Les kept us updated on the challenge, the solution, and the process. Diamond brought in excellent sub contractors for the cement patio, stucco facing, and perimeter fencing. Everything turned out great. The final result was a project completed on time, in budget, and better than we imagined. Robert and team made it a simple experience with minimal stress. I highly recommend Diamond Pools.

It's a tankless heater intended for indoor use like for a bathroom. It does nothing- has not worked since they installed it. It is leaking and has damaged the wall behind it, leading us to need to replace part of that wall. Today we found out they also messed up our solar heating when they installed this useless piece of machinery. Another company will fix that but at a cost. Meanwhile, no pool heater and to replace it will cost us $$. Plus the wasted time. In addition they broke our pool light by not properly sealing it so that it no longer works. To fix it would mean draining the pool- again a large coat in time and $$!! 5 star- I have asked you time and again to fix your mistakes and you lie to me saying you will send someone out. I have called several times directly to the manager / owner. I have received ONE CALL back, which I was unable to answer but received a voicemail. I have sent several emails. No response. Maybe a review will get their attention? We pay for their highest tier of service which should include vaccumming (when needed), clean filter every 4 months (they have done this ONCE in about a year), balance water chemistry (assuming this means more than taking chlorine and pH and sending those readings to the homeowner...thats all they do....and those arent balanced let me tell you), check pool equipment, brush waterline tile, benches, cabo shelf, and steps, net pool of debris, empty pool skimmer, sweep, filter basket. This is 195 dollars per month. Here is the problem. 1) We have been dealing with algae for over 2 months now. Our pool is brand new (finished Sept 2025). I initally discovered the algae on our cabo shelf after being on vacation for 4 days. It started staining the bottom of the shelf. Our pool technician did not ever see it. I showed him. He told me it was rust. When I told him I had been sweeping the pool several times a day to get rid of it and keep it at bay, he said it was algae. He shocked the pool and did muriatic acid. It would improve for a few days and then algae was back. It had spread to the sides of the pool but mostly concentrated on our bench and cabo shelf areas. 2) Our technician regularly tests pH and chlorine. Both numbers are always 8 (pH) and 0 (chlorine) which are not good levels. After several weeks of him testing these same numbers and doing the same thing of adding extra shock, acid, or algaecide (which wasnt working), I talked to the technician again. He said the chlorine should never be 0 (but they keep it at 0....literally since day 1), but that our pH could be high due to the acid treatments he does. After a while, he said he could try testing additional items. He tested phosphates and said ours were high and that we would need to pay an additional $200 for them to clean our filter and do a special phosphate treatment. I advised that I wanted it taken care of even if I had to pay (although I think that is quite unfair considering they havent tested it / have let it build up for a year and havent controlled any of the numbers appropriately). Meanwhile, we continue to have 0.00 ppm of chlorine in our pool and algae, and no phosphate treatment to my knowledge. 3) Pool brushing. This was a big one for me and part of the reason I was willing to pay more for a "higher tier". I have been brushing my pool several times a day. Especially the cabo shelf and bench. I asked my technician what they brush and he told me the tile line. I asked him why they would not brush the shelf, benches, steps, and upper sides of the pool (where the algae has been a problem for us) and he said they only do that "if there is visible algae". I wish I was joking. I suppose I could stop brushing it myself and let it build up so they could see it enough to perform their end of the contract (per contract they should do the bench, steps, shelf, tile EVERY week). 4) Emptying pool basket, filter, etc. Our technician empties these on the concrete right where he picks them up. Instead of into a bag, or maybe the trash can.....it drives me insane. I sweep it up every single week... I already know I will have a mess by the pool equipment and pool basket I have emailed them to ask that they use a trash can but no response. Common sense I think? 5) Communication. When I tell you its SO BAD, please take heed. This is a large company, and the Rocklin office is an ofshoot of that. You cant get ahold of anyone and there is zero communication and follow through. I cant even get anyone to call me so I can get out of my contract and hire someone competent. Our technician is kind, respectful, and professional. The vibe I get is that he has very little direction / supervision / support from this company, and that the company is very poorly run. At this point, I think all should be aware that the positive reviews on here are highly incentivized. Some of the reviews are for Premier Pools (the builder)...don't be fooled there either. Premier pools (builder) are absolutely amazing. But the POOL SERVICING company is NOT THE SAME. Do not go with this company unless you enjoy paying a higher price than comparable companies in exchange for horrible service.
