Our technician Tony took the time to explain exactly what was wrong, walked us through our options, and answered all of our questions without ever making us feel rushed or pressured. We also did flat rate pricing as this company does. The charges for certain service are way out of hand. $425 for a run capacitor is way out of line. Shop around before this company takes you to the cleaners. The part is $100.00 to be fair as it is the turbo one and $325 for 30 minutes of Labor. I won't be doing business with this company anymore. The quality of the work was top of the line while saving me from wasting money on needless costs. In October of 2025 , I decided to build a new home. I knew the only company that I needed for my new installation was 1604 Air Conditioning and Heating. Other items were added to the estimate. I was totally surprised and called 1604. Craig came out and performed a complete inspection to find that the plenums were not leaking in any way. This senior citizen was pleased to learn the truth. He also inspected the compressors and topped them off with freon. His costs were very reasonable given the inspection and work performed. Craig is very personable and very experienced with A/C systems. As a one person business, he does not pay for office space, payroll taxes, leased vehicles and other typical business related expenses. He is able to pass those savings on to his customers. His new van holds all types of parts and equipment for repairs. When I was about to pay I told him about the larger company that had serviced my AC previously and gave me ridiculous quotes for new ductwork or even just fixing the issue we have with the master bedroom being so hot. Trey went in the attic and checked the unit outside. He was able to not only tell me what needed to be fixed but he showed me all of the issues and explained everything thoroughly. Today David and Ronnie came out to clean the unit and did a great job. They'll be out here again Friday to completely replace the ductwork. The honesty alone was enough to make me a loyal customer. Everyone has been super friendly so far and I'm so thankful to have found them yesterday.
