I think they have an issue with obtaining capital/money aka they might be broke. I came in there with 2 deadstock shoes going for 1550 on stockx, i was asking for 750 cash. I have purchased a pair of Jordan's during both visits at very reasonable prices and very good conditions considering they are pre-owned (I couldn't tell) it's better to pay with cash This is my shoe connect and it will behoove you to follow their IG page for contests and steals (aka deals). My first time there I went in with my baby while they were closing, they had an event with 92.3 and were very sweet and helpful with anything I had a question of! They let me in regardless of them cleaning up ready to close. All the workers are so outgoing and friendly! The shoe variety is crazy!! I have just come across probably the worst staff member ever in a store. I came in this store and asked to try a pair of yeezy, and an employee blatantly told me that they can't let me try the shoes, I was absolutely peeved at his statement, and I was completely thrown off. Are you kidding me? I can't try the sneakers on? I said, last time, I purchased another pair of yeezy from you, and the employee let me try them on. what's the problem? The employee responded: "We never let our customer try on the new pair, that was probably the used pair." and I was triggered: " No it was new!" ".....They are not supposed to do that." I was on the brim of throwing a fit. But I held back. I started to walk out and spoke to another employee, she was willing to show me a pair, but another guy came around and said that they are not letting me try this and told me the first guy already told me, but without letting me know the reason. This just drove me up the wall:" Man, how does that make sense, do you buy shoes without knowing how it will fit?" He said something that just infuriated me:" it's ok it doesn't make sense." I went right after him at the counter and said: " yes, it does have to make sense, and oh hey, why are you letting him trying the shoes?" I said as I pointed to another guy trying on the new shoes. He looked away and gave me this most ludicrous and fraudulent explanation: "we are not supposed to do that....." Me: "Hello, but..." He rudely, callously and tactlessly cut me off and said: Get the fvck out of here, I'm not selling you the shoes! I sold a pair of sneakers and received $720. I have sold here before and they have given me cash. This time it was a check. The young girl who issues the check said they don't give cash over a certain amount. Being that it was a weekend the bank was closed so I needed to wait until the following Monday. Monday comes I walk into the bank where the check was issued to. The owner of the account has a setting on his account to call him/her to verify the check before cashing. Cool, I get that. The teller comes out and says the owner is not answering and she cannot cash it until it's verified. I've been at the bank for an hour and still nothing. I DMed, Emailed and Sent an FB message and still no response. All they're numbers listed online are inactive. So here I am with a check I can't cash and no sneakers, which they probably already sold and got them money back. What company has inactive numbers like this. NGL Went here for my birthday this weekend was so excited to go , one of the worst experiences ever the owner so cool and chill to these celebrities but was mad rude in person when asked for help even by others thought it was just me but had the same rude energy towards everyone they barely got anything thats DS would recommend Cookies and Kicks across the street or Sole Stage on Rosewood if anyone these thinking bout buying there. I followed them before they " BLEW UP " so I've always wanted to go there but this place had worse customer service than McDonalds I wanted to meet the owner and he was there so I asked him is there any other sizes he said no and as I walked away he goes " I'm tired of these people asking me the same damn question if they ask you keep saying thats all we have" I ended up coming back later and found they did have another size by looking in the mess of a store they had just didn't want to buy them on how rude they are to normal people and just kiss ass to famous people. Watched their video as we left and they have this thing called the "Vault" and it showed they have extra sizes than what they just have displayed but if you want to get help on looking for your size better hope you got some famous person as your friend otherwise you going to get treated like sh** their ended up going to SoleStage way better customer service and way more organized. read more

However, they offered him a specific amount for the sneakers, but when I attempted to take my sneakers, they didn't keep their word. It's not professional to have people give you the wrong information. With so much competition and consignment shops, the only thing that's important for a consumer is good service. My favorite sneaker shop in LA. Can't beat it. Hasn't been open too long so they actually have a f***ing normal and helpful staff unlike every other store in the area. The store is huge so they have a variety of shoes for all sorts of desires. They also got some heat at the front in the glass cases if you're a big baller like Lavar. Honestly though the prices are good, the kicks are cool, and the staff is better than any other sneaker shop I've been to in LA. If you're gonna give any of these stores your money, they would be you're best option. Lastly, they can also be flexible with pricing or take trades if you don't want to cash out right away. I went to cool kicks about two weeks ago with my boyfriend and trust me when I say make sure to walk in with a few K lol ! I personally love shoes but unfortunately I don't have enough money to buy all the shoes I want but that okay. The environment is so chill and all the people there have the same interest. The workers are extremely helpful they just want to make sure you are satisfied with whatever you are there for. I highly recommend going to cool kicks for any business you may have , such as selling shoes to them, trading shoes or simply buying. Make sure to ALWAYS support your local business. One last thing I think that is super cool they throw shoes somewhere high (a pole) and the first person to get them can keep them, so I think that's there way of saying thank you to everyone supporting them.
