Food was fantastic!!!! Came out hot and well seasoned. Service was great! Very kind and prompt. Pool side- overall fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

Food is amazing and flavorful. Service is great Jared makes the best drinks by far. All the drinking were amazing. Love being pool side with a nice drink in hand and some great food to go with it. Definitely recommend.

Enjoy this poolside resort restaurant with surprisingly flavorful food! I had the Asian Bowl topped with pork. It was outstanding! Sit belly up to the bar, on a pool chair or at one of the poolside tables. They also have fun activities out there by the restaurant and pool.

I like love the pool but hate how people claim prim chairs and you never ever see them sit in them. The bar does not have distaff so you must go up yourself order and wait for food which takes forever to come out. The food is pretty bad except for the pretzel$10 by the way. Today I ordered the Buffalo Wings which tasted ok not crispy though. I proceeded to see them again and hour later when I threw them up. I was so sick and it cane on so fast. I know what your thinking I probably was drunk but no I can't drink alcohol at all. The pool is still great but that's all this area good for.

The food is similar to buying frozen packaged food from the supermarket and have it fried and sit around for awhile. The staff is laid back so much that you will catch the staff often on the phone, zoned out watching the television, or chatting with other staff so much that you could sit there for over 25 minutes and not be served. Sometimes you will find the placed unstaffed, and wonder if the place is even open. The mixed drinks tastes horrid and may leave you thinking if the bartender even has a mixing license. Being a property owner here, I have already talked about improving this establishment, but to no success. They have the environment to make this a high brow bar grill, but so much potential lost.

Arrived last nite and ate here.. There was a torrential rain storm with thunder and some of the loudest claps of lightning I've ever heard.. Made my hair stand up. It moved all the families out of the bar pretty quickly..The staff were very accommodating and doting. The food was Ok .. Not bad,not great and pretty pricey. 9$ for a draft at happy hour. Oh the days of 5$ pitchers.... I love Marriott in General and the hotel is very nice and the grounds are beautiful

This place is great! Located in the resort were staying at. It is a bit pricey @ $8.00 for a draft beer but again it's a bar in a resort. We flew in earlier today, this is a cool little spot, the ambience is excellent! It's surrounded by pools and palm trees. You can't ask for much more! There was a DJ playing and occasionally people would do karaoke. We ordered dinner. We started with the garlic and Parmesan wings. They were very very good, we ordered 6 and they came with 8. My wife ordered the salad, with shrimp. She said it was very good. I ordered the veggie wrap with a side salad. The food was good, not great, but the ambience is priceless! The servings were a bit on the small side but it was convenient. We didn't have to leave the resort. I would recommend. I would say 3 stars for the food and give it the extra star for the ambience.

Fun, lively bar! Can't comment on the food, but stopped in last night to check out the dueling pianos, and they were great! High energy, really good sing-along type songs. All in a fun, casual setting near the beautiful pool and the lake. Menu was your standard salad, sandwich, burger kind of thing, and lots of people were ordering tall, frozen drinks.

We ate here one evening while staying at the Marriott Grande Vista. It is located next to one of the pools. We had the wings (buffalo and garlic parm), Copa Loca Tacos(fish) and chicken tenders. All 3 were very good and reasonable priced for resort food. I agree with other reviews stating they need more servers to support the demand. The night we visited there was one waitress waiting on at least 10 tables. She was very friendly and helpful but was running back and forth constantly. The food also took a long time to come out, nearly 35 minutes for items that I would think shouldn't take more than 15 min. It is a nice option for those staying at the hotel.

You can tell there was fresh fruit in it by the blackberry pieces in the drink. For my entree, I ordered The Royal and this was actually one of the best burgers I've had in my life. Loved the vibes too. Next time I go will definitely be to catch the live music. I've already recommended this place to friends.

Happy hour was just starting or had started, but there wasn't anything on the happy hour menu that stood out to us. They had the Suncreek Brewery Strawberry ale on tap so I had a couple glasses of that. It's perfect for the summer. It's a very light and very refreshing beer. My husband drank Yuengling. We both end up getting a taster of Bourbon later on. My husband went with the six year Willet And really enjoyed it. He said it definitely got better the more that you drank. I opted for something that I've seen in the stores but haven't purchased yet. I was able to try both the dancing panda eight year as well as the dancing panda 10 year. A cheaper bottle of bourbon but definitely good flavor. The 10 was my favorite. For food, I got an order of the S & S sweet potato fries, which comes with a light caramel drizzle. These fries are cooked perfectly and so delicious. My husband got the garlic Parm wings, and while the crunch was perfect on them.(he ordered them crunchy) -he was not a fan of their garlic Parmesan sauce. It just felt like the garlic, overpowered any of the Parmesan. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and the two bartenders that were working the bar, were excellent and very attentive.

The first thing I noticed walking in was that the restaurant was freezing. I was already dressed in full work attire with pants, long sleeves, and an undershirt, and it still felt uncomfortably cold inside. One of the more surprising moments came when I asked if they could cook my burger medium-rare. The response was basically, "We can't guarantee the temp. They usually come out medium-well." To her credit, the bartender was friendly and offered to note my preference on the ticket to improve the odds. What either wasn't explained clearly, or I completely missed initially, is that these are thinner burgers that are almost smashburger-style. Once the food arrived, that made a lot more sense, and honestly it would have been an easy clarification at the time of ordering. The service overall was fine. Seating was immediate, and bar service was a little on the slower side, though still within a reasonable range. My food, however, came out extremely fast once ordered. The restaurant itself strongly feels inspired by Ford's Garage. Between the décor, garage aesthetic, and even the benches outside, I think it was probably a former Ford's Garage location or a sister concept. Given the name "Sickies Garage," it's not exactly a huge leap. I'm honestly too lazy to do the leg work to look that up. One guy at the bar kept staring at me the whole meal, which was pretty unsettling... mostly because it was a life-sized skeleton pointed directly at me the entire time. (see photos ) On the positive side, the staff were friendly, honest about the food prep, and the menu selection is large, if heavily burger focused (because Burger bar). There are tons of burger options, sandwiches, salads, and sides. They also have a large bar setup with a solid beer selection on tap. The liquor selection was pretty limited, but this is clearly more of a burgers-and-brews place than a cocktail bar, so that's understandable. As for the food itself, it was just... okay. I ordered the Jameson burger with tater tots. Not bad at all, but not particularly memorable either. The burger wasn't overly flavorful on its own, and it was pretty obvious the expectation was for the toppings to do most of the heavy lifting. Between the thinner patty style and the toppings, the actual beef flavor was kind of lost. The tots were fresh and crispy and perfectly fine, but again, nothing that really stood out. Overall, the entire experience felt very middle-of-the-road: decent food, friendly staff, interesting atmosphere, but nothing that would pull me away from my favorite local burger spots. I'd give it 3 stars overall. Not a bad experience, just not one that really wowed me either.

The atmosphere was lively and fun...definitely a great spot if you're looking for upbeat brunch energy. We started with the deviled eggs, and those did not disappoint. They were flavorful, well-balanced, and probably the highlight of our meal. For entrées, my husband ordered the brunch burger. The menu didn't list bacon, and even after our server double-checked to confirm it wouldn't come with bacon, the burger still came out topped with it. While mistakes happen, it was frustrating having to wait for the order to be remade while the rest of the table was already eating. I ordered the Fruity Pebbles chicken and waffles for my daughter. It was okay, but definitely on the sweeter side. The chicken itself was coated in cereal and then topped with syrup, which made the whole dish very sweet overall -- just a bit underwhelming for us. On a positive note, the kids' portions were great. The mac and cheese and chicken tenders were both solid and generously portioned. Overall, the food was a bit underwhelming for the price point, but I'd probably give it another try...if only for the Maui Mimosa. That drink alone might bring us back.

The bad news is the service and food are all below par. You could absolutely enjoy a drink at the bar with strangers, a soccer match with friends, or a romantic night out with a date. IF you can actually get service. We stood at the host stand for no less than 5 minutes while the bartender and several employees glanced at us and ignored us. We finally gave up waiting to be seated and seated ourselves near where the only other couple was seated. After ANOTHER several minutes without being acknowledged at all my wife went and got our own menus. After what felt like ages our waitress Mai finally appeared, there was no attempt to even note the delay in service or apologize but I'm willing to move forward and pretend. We ordered Pub Pretzels and Beer Cheese, Poutine, and a Shepard's Pie. The pretzels and cheese was the first to arrive and the pretzels were okay, the cheese was runny and cool despite having a skin of charred cheese on top. It tasted nearly identical to the rehydrated powder cheese you get with a box of Kraft Mac n Cheese. It was several minutes later when I decided to just cancel the Poutine, which I had to find our waitress to do and she informed me she hadn't yet put the order for that or the shepherd's pie in yet so that would be easy to do. At that point we just asked for the Shepherd's pie to go. When we got home and tried it the mince was tasty enough, the gravy and mashed potatoes were passable, but all of the veggies were so undercooked it was like biting into raw carrots and onion. I have no doubt The Pub could be a fun spot and hopefully this was an off night for everyone, but I don't think we'll be back to give them a try.
