The most fun I have had in a long time. This is a great auction with cars, trucks and SUV's. You…read morecan walk away with a decent vehicle for under 1k depending on your taste you can get a less expensive vehicle if you chose. The auctioneers are honest and will tell you all about the vehicle whether it was donated traded in - has a salvage title - needs a windshield - etc. Of course it as an auction so nothing is guaranteed but they drive the car up to you place new batteries if needed. This will be a new weekend sport for me. I love it people are funny - watched at least 5 cars get taking out because no one wanted to bid (we are talking about $500 bids on early models) if I had the finances I would and could have bought family members all a new car. So if you are reading this come on down ---- see what your missing and I guarantee you will drive away --- Cash and CC accepted a debit credit works good too. Don't forget to register. And if you want too pick me up a car --- and give a wave ---

Stop the sob stories and rate the company for the REAL business it is, they sell cars good and bad. I have been to many auto auctions and worked with a good friend who owned an auto auction company in the Mid-West. When I was young and new to the game, he would have me bidding against the Coke machine and I never knew it!!! That's what auctioneers need to do. Not everything should sell to the highest bidder that day! Maybe there was not enough interest in the car to sell it or should I say give it away. Taxes and Fees are at every auction!!! Why complain? It is YOUR responsibility to READ the terms! They announce it. I have to listen to 15 min of explaining the terms EVERY time I go! I go a lot! I buy a lot! I sell a lot of cars that needed some work. PEOPLE, you CAN save money here. You CAN get great deals here. this is just like life itself.... risky! Love the comments, do you homework! Should that not be the case every time??

My insurance sent my vehicle to this location in Puyallup after a crash. The very next day I went…read moreto retrieve my personal belongings from the truck and discovered several items were missing, including my radio/stereo and my WeatherTech floor mats. I spoke with the manager, Elaine, or something with a E and explained that the tow driver (Cash, big black dude) had taken photos of the vehicle at the crash site before it was transported. She told me they never received any photos and said there was nothing they could do about the missing items. What made the situation even more concerning is that the following weekend I saw the same manager and the same tow truck driver together at a bar, acting very close  flirting, hugging, and holding hands. It did not give me confidence that my complaint was taken seriously and they are together which is the reason nothing could be done! Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend people be cautious when leaving their vehicles here, as my belongings went missing and the issue was never properly addressed.

Hands down one of the most unprofessional corporate auction locations I have ever been to. The…read moreBranch Manager is the nastiest person I have ever met at an auto auction. Witnessed her treating employees and customers like crap. I sat there waiting for my car and the yard supervisor who was young, cocky and treating his team members like crap. The only saving grace is the loader operators who in my opinion are the backbone of this company. The most genuine, nicest and helpful employees I have ever met. Sad that they have to work for such poor management and have such a toxic work environment. FYI Just remember when you are buying a car sight unseen.......there will always be more damage than what's listed and they will not do anything about it.

He ended up paying about $1000 more than book value (private party) and slightly above full retail (dealership price), after taxes and licensing probably even more. I've heard accusations about shill bidders to run prices up. I cannot confirm this but it wouldnt surprise me. Sam Taylor sold my parents a house in '90 back before he was an auctioneer. He was dishonest about the condition of the house- flat out lied about the "brand new" carpet and padding which WAS new carpet- slapped over the old nasty padding underneath. Had to have entire house re-done. Later i had experience with their pawnshop and it was no-good. the employee was downright hostile, nasty and rude. I was younger & had little experience with pawnbrokers, was going thru a rough time already (obviously) having to pawn a $400 game system and take next-to-nothing, dude didnt have to add insult to injury with his beratement. No savings on cars, crooked owner and rude employees. Yeah id take my business elsewhere.

I spent 4,300 to buy the car and the cost of fixing the car will be about 7,000. The left axle, right axle, entire motor, left door locks, and many hoses have to be replaced. I called the auction house that day and they were not responsive. When I received the full analysis of the car and tried to call the auction house and they were very rude and hung up on me twice. I am a female in my twenties and I feel discriminated against. The person who hung up on me said that she is only going to talk to my dad. I bought the car and yet she is only willing to talk to a man. I don't know if the auction house already knew about these problems but I feel very wronged. Taylor's auction house sold me a lemon and I do not want anyone else to be wronged and lose a lot of money.

When I contacted the company to retrieve it, they demanded $750 in impound fees. I paid the full amount they requested. Despite accepting my payment, they refused to release the vehicle, citing a title issue. What they failed to disclose before accepting my money was that they would not release the car regardless of payment. This is fundamentally deceptive. They had two honest options -- accept payment and release the vehicle, or refuse payment upfront. Instead they chose a third option that benefited only them -- they took my money and kept the car. This practice may violate Washington State consumer protection laws and UTC tow company regulations. If you are dealing with this company, I strongly recommend: * Getting everything in writing before paying anything * Asking explicitly whether they will release your vehicle before handing over any money * Contacting the Washington UTC at utc.wa.gov if you experience similar treatment I wish someone had warned me. I hope this review saves someone else from losing both their vehicle and their money.
