I will just say that this is the worse business and management in this state . They lost the keys to my car . All i can say is that when buying/selling cars, it's buyer beware. In this case I'd say buyer BEWARE. This place is a ripoff, known for selling cars that one can't get a title for. For us, we found that it's impossible to get a required inspection from the Washington State Patrol for a salvage vehicle, which is much of the Copart inventory. They know this and the manager told me to my face that it was tough luck, I'm on my own. Washington state apparently does not have a lemon law that applies to reptiles like this. I would advise anyone buying a car from these folks to go elsewhere. I asked a Washington State Patrol person and that's what they told me as well based on their personal experience. read more

Drove 4 hours to preview a truck, joined the virtual queue and one hour later I finally got the text to come to the front Office, got there and about ten minutes later I asked Janet B if she was going to help and found out that i was not going be able to preview the truck because was not at the sales area. This is the first time I hear about this since other Copart yards vehicles can be anywhere and as long there is a a sale day already publish they will move the vehicle right away for you if needed, that was not the case at this yard. read more

Zero star from me. (donation on July 11, 2015) Wow, where do I start my headache? I donated my dodge caravan 2002 to Kars4Kids about two to three weeks ago and my car wasn't pick up within 24 to 48 hours or within a week. I thought kars4kids pick up the donate car themselves, it turns out kar4kids is using Copart as their towing company. This is embarrassing and frustrating. The first towing guy came out and lost, couldn't find his way to the car even though I gave a good direction to my apartment. The copart rescheduled for later pickup and it wasn't the next business day....Finally the second week of the finally promising day to pick up my car, by the time the towing guy came by someone locked the doors to my car and all my keys and document are inside the car as I was instructed by the towing company or the kars4kids. All those times, wasting days and weeks I thought it was the kar4kids fault for not wanting to pick up my car, but it turns out the copart towing company was to be blame for not communicate with the towing guy or me. They kept extended the pickup date every time I called them to check on the pickup day. They kept changing the pickup date and promising the days and days and it didn't happen. Copart told me they can't pick up my car unless the car parked in the open area with its front facing the open parking area so that the towing company can easily take the car from the front, not from the back, but I told them all my keys are locked inside the car. And they were well aware of it. All those days and weeks I left my car unlocked for them to come pick up the car, but they kept reschedule their pick up days, excuse after excuse. "Oh, we don't have driver to come out...we are busy..." etc. Copart couldn't pick up the car because the car is locked. They even asked me to use a COAT HANGER TO UNLOCK THE CAR DOOR MYSELF. They didn't offer me their help to open the door. In other words they can't pick up the car or will not. I was upset... Third week, So I cancel my donation on Kar4kids and call a new company which I found online that would easily come pick up the car and it turns out that "donate a car to charity" and got an email from them. Take a look. "Great news! Your donation has been assigned for pickup. We've gone right to work on getting your vehicle picked up as soon as possible. Your vehicle was assigned to Copart--DVAA--DPV, you should hear from them within the next business day. If you need to schedule an urgent pickup please feel free to contact them directly at (866) 376-3822." OMG!!! What's happening? I'm sorry kars4kids I thought it was your guys fault. Kars4kids "Free towing in WA within 24 to 45 hours." OMG! Two to three weeks my donation is still parking in the parking lot. Do you know that!!! Now, when I called copart towing company they ID my numbers and didn't bother to pick up my call. You know my family and I were kind enough to donate our family van to a good cost. Comes to think of it, I don't think they care. It turns out to be a donate joke. Copart towing company is embarrassing to me and my family. Kar4kids please don't use copart towing company as your towing it will take you down hill with them. They don't care if you get your donation or not. Threatened by one of their drivers. I have notified University Place police and called the business to raise hell. Called a charity to pick up my vehicle and was told a truck would be out the next morning. Sure enough a man with a thick Russian accent was there. He got the car on quickly and we exchanged pleasantries. He told me that his towing truck was his own and that he bought it himself. Possibly an independent contractor. Then the fun began. As he hopped into his truck he asked for the title, I gave him the title and asked him to sign the Bill of Sale (required). He refused defiantly and this escalated. I told him I felt more comfortable with a signature. His voice got angrier, and he dropped a couple f-bombs here and there. I asked for a business card and he told me he does not carry identification. He showed me a receipt of sale and the pickup order. I took a picture of the pickup order with my phone. He said not to do that and said he was "warning me." I said I took it for my records and he was quick to snatch it back. He left without saying a word with my car in tow. Pickup order says his name is "Troy." He may have been going through a rough day, but this is no way to treat a person, Troy. read more

Overall, I just used to buy cars from this place. The fee's are astronomical !! For example... You win the bid for $850. Great! But now get this. Buyer fee for that price is $250 if you pay with a cashier check, and $295 if you use a credit card. It gets better ... the next fee on this same deal is the bid fee $39. Then there is always the gate fee $59 ( used to be $29 ) ... ok so now that $850 car is $1272 to $1317 with the sales tax of course... Then you have the car mover machine, just long forks on an articulated monster machine bending the parts under your new purchase. Bending a-arms, tie rods, dinging wheels inside the lips, bending supporting links and poking holes in things sometimes. Your better off buying a car somewhere else. read more

Don't ever DEPOSIT money for 'buying power' online 2. Wave goodbye to your money in auction 3. The bidding is a scam, while online, as 'ultimate bids' ($1000 increment bid) will miraculously appear, nobody will outbid you, and then you'll overpay for a car that is all beat to shart. 4. Don't think these reviews even make a difference with these freaking tow companies and scrap yards, but once again, we had our car hit and totaled, it was brought to this location, they completely went through the entire car and every single compartment, they stole valuable items and denied it, this is nothing new, my recommendation if you ever have your car towed because of an accident and your physically capable, take all of your valuable, and personal belongings, there's a bunch of lowlifes that seems that work in these places, and steal anything they can find, sunglasses, charging cable's, jewelry, paperwork with addresses and information on it jumper cables this is not the first time that this is happened, you think I would've learned a lesson the last time, people need to keep their freaking hands off personal belongings that belong to someone else, but like I said lowlifes work in these places, on top of that the one young girl was nice but very slow and the people in the office are extremely rude and really don't give a darn about anything except whatever they're doing at that moment. read more

*ZERO STARS* if I could. Horrible service. My car was totaled on Wednesday and a tow scheduled for Thursday morning. Never received a phone call never showed. I call the next day Friday morning " they're sending a truck today to pick up the car for sure it's on the schedule." I never receive a phone call never showed. I call this friday afternoon at 4pm and "They were confused so they never scheduled" or bothered to call the number provided to clarify. And now they won't pick the car up until Monday at the soonest! The absolute worst towing service I have ever experienced of heard of. Zero stars. read more

I have never had a worse experience with any establishment, ever. If you don't want your car destroyed, do not trust your car with these people. -- I handed over my car to Copart in Graham to be sold at their auction. My car was nice; a 2011 Dodge Charger. They allow a car to be auctioned up to 3 times. After the 3rd auction finished with my car, i wasn't happy with the price so i declined to sell it. When i came to pick up my car, it was completely torn apart. Right away, i noticed that all four tires were switched out to worse, worn out ones. Whats even worse is that the battery that the car once had, had been replaced with one that was very close to dying. As one would, i asked the manager about whatever happened to my car. They made it seem that they have no idea what i was talking about and when i began threatening to call the police, they asked me if i had any proof that my car was different when i first gave it to them. I have not taken any pictures of my car prior to handing it over to them to show as proof, and the pictures that were used for the auction were deleted because the auction had ended. So i left the place with my car in worse condition than when i first handed it in. Needless to say, i was, and still am, extremely upset. Now i have to buy a new battery and new tires so i can sell it again. -- Moral of the story: if you are going to sell your car on this website, take detailed pictures of your car and what it looked like before you hand it over to this business. They will make all efforts to strip your car. read more

Copart has been calling my home phone for over two years. I have no connection with them. I have asked them not to call me and to figure out what is wrong with their phone system. I told them I am on the Do Not Call list. Nothing does any good, They keep calling. I Yesterday I received yet another call and called the office. They assured me yet again that it would be taken care of. They called again this morning! I had Verizon block the office number again ( it has to be renewed every three months), but if they call from an office, it comes through. I have done two complaints with Do Not Call, I have talked to the office manager and I have emailed the president of the company. I guess my next step is to contact the Attorney General. I don't know what else to do. Anti Harassment order?Talk about horrible Customer Service! read more
