We (my wife and I) were greeted by a salesperson named Denis. He was friendly, laid back and asked me which vehicle I was there to see and I told him the Blue Range Rover Sport Supercharged over there. We have been thinking about one but never actually seen one in person or test drive one. He got the key quickly and handed it over so we could check out the rig. We are coming from a 400whp STI and I needed to let go of my toy for a better more comfortable family car, we still have the Jeeps though. They had a sweet fully built newer STI there while I was there too. Anyhoo, the Rover was very clean inside and out, it wasnt just a detail job, the quality was actually very well kept for its age and mechanically you could tell that it was in great working order. I fired it up and it sounded just like it should, looked over the vehicle as I was letting it warm up, under the hood checked all the belts, fluids, checked for leaks or weird noises and played with the air suspension. Denis was able to answer all the questions I had about it and then I handed over license and insurance card and went for a drive. We weren't sure what to expect as this was our first time in one but I've been a car guy my whole life and a mechanic so I listened for all the little noises, bumps, vibrations to signal if there was anything wrong. We got back very satisfied with the Rover and knew this was the type of vehicle we wanted to get. Denis came back out to meet us once we got back and see what we thought. We told him we liked it but were just starting to look at them. We looked at a lot and honestly weren't really planning on going back because we had some others in mind, but the service we got from Denis and the way the condition of all the other cars on their lot you can tell they care about the condition both mechanical and cosmetic on their cars and we went back later on and looked again while talking with Denis. 3rd time when we showed up Denis was with a customer and I spoke with Vadim. I had a question about a strange looking plug that I had never seen before and he not only knew what it was but it impressed me he knew and it ended up being a weird charging port for an old Nokia lol. He was able to answer any other questions I had too and had same atmosphere as Denis, no pressure and very friendly. The manager Tony is a solid guy, also very friendly and laid back, he worked with me on the deal and at first we were looking to trade my other vehicle but he was upfront and honest and said they just couldn't swing the deal and was really kind and honest about it. Didn't talk bad about my trade or anything or scoff at me like has been done to me at other dealerships. That told me we were in the right place, absolutely solid character and good people. We ended up selling our car private party and came in, worked out a deal and they went above and beyond making sure that all of my concerns were addressed and taken care of before we moved forward. It didn't feel like a dealership but more like a chill hangout spot with good friends. I've been to a lot of dealers all over and I have never been in an environment like that with a dealership, or anywhere that I've ever purchased anything honestly. It wasnt fake friendly, they were genuine, and sincere in how they treated me. When we were filling out paperwork I had my 1 year old son with me and they didn't get upset by him being silly and running around, the guys were helpful in keeping an eye on him while I was filling out paperwork. There is a very sweet lady who works there as well named Lana who helped keep an eye on him too and she gave us a bag of cookies they have there I think it was double fudge Grannies cookies I wanna say, and I was able to give him a little snack and helped keep him occupied. We talked a little about our kids and it was just the icing on the cake that made it a purely enjoyable experience. Never in a million years would I have imagined those words would ever come out of my mouth. I've always left dealerships pissed off and a sour taste in my mouth because they dont care about you, once they have the salt they just disregard you and you get put on the back burner. Not at Prestige, I also appreciated that we went through the paperwork fast. It didn't take hours like most places. We had all paperwork done within 20 minutes and I was down at my rig installing carseat and loading up the boyo. We are now the proud new owners of the Range Rover, we got it for a price that I can't argue with and we want to thank the guys and gal at Prestige Auto Market for exceeding our expectations and then some. They were so transparent about the vehicle: gave us the Carfax for free and plugged the car reader in so we could check for any problems. When there were a couple minor issues we weren't so thrilled with, they offered to fix it. After speaking with them, you know they're not out here just scamming people. Ending up meeting the no BS man named B! Although, I did low ball them for the car, the owner, Serg, came back with his offer and we closed the (cash) deal, paperwork and all, in what felt like less than an hour. They were also willing to work with me on the pickup and delivery of the vehicle on a different day. As for the location, I think it actually was a barn at one point in its life but I feel they renovated it to feel quite cozy. Who wouldn't want to park their car in their living room? Ok, maybe just me... While I was buying a car on the lower end of the spectrum, this dealer has a variety of cars for anyone; from Civics to Jaguars or pickups to RVs. I was informed the car had been inspected thoroughly and that there were no major issues with the car. While getting my transmission fluid flushed I was informed my head gaskets were leaking both coolant and engine oil. It has yet to have a major effect on my car, but it will cost me a lot of time and money to get it fixed. Even though I was informed they had done an inspection themselves I should have taken it for a pre purchase inspection myself. Lesson learned from a first time car buyer.

What I also learned was that all dealerships buy their inventory from the same auctions so really it is all about the deal, which in my experience is much better in a smaller dealership. If you think "out the door price" means the total cost you will pay for your vehicle, Smart Motorz…read moreis not for you. We had agreed on an out the door price and I wrote my check. I was extremely disappointed to hear a month later that I owed a balance, putting my actual cost above a price that I had refused. The issue was that the estimate for registration/title/plates etc. was listed on my purchase order as $100 when the cost was actually $260. Fine, you got me Smart Motorz, I should have known that $100 was an impossibly low estimate for registration in WA and not trusted you to be honest with me at all. My bad, I has assumed you were like all other dealers that manage to get within $25 and usually give you a few bucks back when the plates come in so their customers do not feel cheated. I called the state and looked into it. Having my address and knowing that it would have taken two of these cars to go above the base weight fee, there was only one fee that was not fixed and needed to be estimated, the $18.29 RTA Excise Tax. This means $240.50 in fixed fees is the minimum possible fee. Breakdown attached. A $100 estimate is in no way possible or reasonable. Nobody told me Smart Motorz could be shady and/or incompetent that ther estimate of fees they deal eith every day could be 150% off just so that it appeared as if I woud pay the agreed price. Now I know. I asked why the estimate was so far off when picking up may plates, and was told the estimate was "random" and they blamed the state. No effort to make things right or even acknowledge that their fabricated "random" lowball estimate cost me money. To me, a deal is a deal. Whether it was gross incompetence or deliberate use of an unrealistic estimate, Smart Motorz does not deserve your business. They will certainly not get any more of mine. I'm sure there is a catch to the "free oil change" but I'm not going to waste my time finding out.

Less than perfect credit, owed way more on my current car, and had requirements as far as the new car was concerned that could possibly never be met. I was told that if what I needed to make happen was ever to be done, I should go see this guy named Shane G at All Pro. Now mind you, I had been searching for that perfect car and the perfect deal for nearly six months. So needless to say, I thought that it was going to be just another one of those wasted weekends, being told what they thought I wanted to hear, then getting told the honest truth, which of course was not what I wanted to hear. From the very beginning Shane told me what I wanted to accomplish was not going to be easy, the payment schedule I was looking for was what he called " a little out of wack ". To make a long story short, he did everything he could and went way beyond what would be expected of a car dealer, all to make me a satisfied customer. Although my interest rate was a little hi, I did get the car that I not only needed, but he car that I wanted. My payments were surprisingly lower than what I told him was my maximum budget.
