Mazda…read moreUSA issued a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) about the problem, so it was clear that there was a fix needed, and that it should have been fixed under warranty. We had bought the car at a suburban Boston dealer who will not be named. That dealer tried to say that the issue was normal wear and tear, even though the folks at Mazda USA said it was a manufacturer's fault. The Boston dealer was extremely rude and dismissive. We will never go there again. Turn the page to Mazda Cape Cod; they were friendly, understanding, and professional. They fixed the problem immediately. I cannot say enough good things about this Service Department, and special commendations to Corey German, Rafael Hernandez, and the technician Daryl Delancey. And thanks also to Mazda USA. They too were professional and understanding. We WILL buy a Mazda again! Love the car and the brand. Next time, go to Mazda Cape Cod!

They tried to get me to replace both headlights for around $1,700 each and said it would not be covered under warranty. I chose not get it fixed then and there - upon further research this WAS covered under my purchased mazda platinum protection plan and is a known manufacturing issue for the 2022 CX-5s. Additionally, they tried to get me to replace both headlights - I went to another dealership (Wellesley Mazda) and they informed me that the headlights would be covered under my extended warranty and that only one needed to be replaced. I'd recommend being cautious in terms of accepting repair instructions as it appears they tried to take advantage!!

I had a super positive experience with Ziggy's in their role of towing away my "well-loved but…read moreinsurance claimed total loss" VW a few weeks ago. Mark called in advance to give me a generous lead time so i knew when he would be arriving for the tow, which I definitely needed and thus greatly appreciated. He was punctual, friendly, professional and kind. He thoughtfully and with great care set up my car to tow it away - allowing me to take pictures at my bittersweet goodbye (this VW was my freedom wings out of divorce, was part of many fond memories established in California and my recent road-trip across America back to east coast with my little sister ). Off it went in Mark's capable hands! While i thought that was the end, I realized as I went to complete the paperwork for the transfer of my title that I had flaked to record its final odometer reading. In a panic and desperate last ditch effort, I found the number from what i believed had been the incoming call from Ziggy's-- I called and left an embarrassing plea requesting Mark's help, should he still have my VW on hand. Mark called right back to say he was on another tow but would be back in the lot shortly and would shoot me a photo of my dash with the info. I was so humbled and grateful for his kind willingness. I was stressed-trying to get the title in the hands of Fedex before 5pm that day. Mark texted the photo with my final mileage within the short time he guesstimated. I was overjoyed - SO relieved- and so full of gratitude! While this may seem like no big thang to some, for me it was SO crucial that my title be error free and complete - so this whole exhausting, unexpected 'old car to new used car' shebang could be wrapped up seamlessly. I hope this expresses my deepest gratitude for Mark's openness to go above and beyond- and with such timely responsiveness and kindness. While he may not be a bio family member at Ziggy's - it is my experience that he performs his role with as much professionalism, kindness and dedication as if he was. High fives to Mark!! Thank you, Ziggy's for sending the perfect man for the job that day!!

Apparently as soon as the mechanic got it up on the lift, he could tell it had all sorts of problems. There is major rust damage to the underside of the car that had been painted over and filled up with Bondo. The gas tank would have to be replaced. It also needs a new clutch. The check engine light was off when we picked up the car but after driving it to the garage, it was on. My mechanic said he couldn't believe a dealership was trying to sell a car in this condition. It would have been a very fair deal per Kelly Blue book prices if the car was in good condition, but as it was they were listing what my mechanic said was a $500-1000 junker car for $4.5K. Not sure how the price negotiation would have gone if I'd tried since I took the mechanic's advice to get as far from a car like that as possible. When I brought the car back, they said they didn't know about any of these issues and acted very surprised. So either they were trying to swindle us or they don't check out the condition of the cars they sell. I've see other reviews that have had good experiences buying at Auto Cape, but also quite a few mentioning the same kind of situation I was in. So just make sure a mechanic you trust looks over anything from them.

And I paid top dollar for those things. 3 month warranty in the state of Massachusetts . They did the inspection. Three months later I moved to NH with garage parking only to find out I had an oil leak. First my mechanic thinks its the transmission, so I bring it to the transmission place. I find out from them that my "no accident" car has a small crack in the block from damage to the undercarriage . And on top of that it was 'patched' to try to stop the leak. Which apparently worked for a couple months long enough for me to no longer be under warranty . The car runs great but the only way to fix that leak is to replace my engine. Also, the hood of my car has peeling paint. Just the hood. Most likely a replacement from the non accident. And they so kindly detailed my car for me so that was covered when i got it. It showed up after a couple rains and at 1st I just thought it was dirt. I'm retired on a fixed income and took $13,000 out of my savings to buy this car that I am now stuck with. With no recourse. Now I am no longer in a garage and it's getting cold and I come out this morning and I am scraping frost off THE INSIDE of my windshield!! What the heck happened to this clunker you sold me??? I know from the carfax that it was bought in Florida. Beware of this place. Get your inspection elsewhere even though they do it for free. I plan on filing a complaint with the attorney generals office. It most likely won't get me anywhere but they screwed me royally and I don't know what else to do.

I was informed that the drain plug had not been properly sealed, causing an oil leak. After the snow melted from my driveway, I discovered large oil stains on my newly paved surface. This was discovered after my last visit to Tracy VW. There was no apology for the technician's oversight, and I was told the issue "sometimes happens." As a result, I was left dealing with the inconvenience of taking a day off work to address the problem, along with damage to my property. I bring my vehicle to a dealership expecting a level of care that avoids preventable mistakes. During the same visit, I was also told that my rear rotors were severely rusted and had worn down the brake pads--despite the fact that I had driven only about 1,000 miles since the annual service. This had not previously been communicated as urgent, which raised concerns for me about the consistency of their inspections. My primary concern is the damage to my property, along with the lack of accountability and communication surrounding the drain plug issue. The response felt dismissive, and there was no apology offered. For these reasons, I will be taking my business elsewhere and am sharing this experience to inform other customers. I have also contacted VW Customer Care in hopes of resolving the matter. #TracyVolkswagen #TracyVW
