Have been buying top quality furniture from this company for 30 years, both in Tucson and Phoenix. Wife and I Stopped in on a Monday afternoon to look at lounge chairs. Showroom was clean and neat. Salesman greeted us, and helped for a few minutes. We realized, the stock hasn't really changed in 30 years. I'm a hard size to fit into most chairs, and there was nothing in this place that worked for me. We still have some of their Ekornes line, but they discontinued the one piece we are looking for. The store was wonderful to deal with and replaced the couch with a new one, even giving us a loaner in the interim. Only time I've given a one star! Have you ever felt like Pretty Woman in a store with money and plans and ready to purchase and they wouldn't even say Hello? Well that is how I felt in this showroom! I went on a Tuesday at 12;45pm because it would not be busy ( I was the only person in the store) I counted 3 sales associates. I walked around the entire store I spent 26 minutes as I walked out a lady came to greet a couple walking in, she looked at me- not a word. I lived in Sarasota Fl for years bought a sofa and stress less chairs that I loved still have 2 paintings an a lamp,from their. I had hoped to redo my home here since I left my condo furnished. So glad there are other furniture stores in Phoenix as my neighbor told me L.A. has great deals. Life is too short to do business with people and stores that don't value the customer! read more

I love this place! I brought my first couches from them for our new house. After 5 years the main couch, finally gave out. Everyday use of us and the dogs. We still have 1 two seat sofa that became the dogs' sofa now. I am now back for maybe a dinner set, a new couch, or anything else I see... LOL! Yes, they are pricey but the pieces are quality stuff. The selection was wonderful and service outstanding. We were looking for some very specific pieces. We had some 'interesting' spaces we needed to furnish and some very specific features that we needed the pieces to have. Kevin was very patient working with us as we described the spaces, our likes and dislikes and then he went to work finding a few options in each area for us to evaluate. We are very happy with Copenhagen on camelback. This is not the first time we have done buisness with them. Everyone was very Proffessional and the delivery came on time. We had two issues that were very well handled. One, the wrong rug was delivered and when I went to the showroom to explain the situation, I was informed it could take up to six weeks to get the right one. The manager was very understanding and gave me 20% off the one on the floor. Normally it would of been 10 %. Nice savings on a $1000 rug. Next our new bed frame squeaked! It was not an inexpensive bed. I called up Copenhagen and they immediately sent a specialist. He had it figured it out in no time at all. Now no more squeaks. Hey what can I say, life is not perfect but Copenhagen made it right. Thank you. I will continue to shop there and highly recommend you do also. read more

We had been shopping in many places in the East Valley. I'm tall and needed a high-backed sofa/loveseat. We were directed by a salesperson at a different store in Scottsdale to check out Copenhagen. I found a sofa that fit me PERFECTLY! Too bad it didn't fit my wife. We did find a sofa for both of us and purchased two of them. The salespeople weren't pushy. They let us look and then answered our questions. Delivery to East Mesa was only $85. Cost of the two sofas was surprisingly reasonable. They have a different style of furniture than the chain stores. I highly recommend you check them out. read more

Need to take a lot of reviews with a grain "truck" full of salt. To many sales people, not enough sales people. If you want help go ask for some damn help, if you don't then say your good. With Copenhagen I find it a very comfortable furniture shopping experience as they are more than willing to help you or just leave you to yourself whilst you browse. This is not a "purchase the floor model" furniture store unless it is their yearly clearance sale. Almost all their furniture is custom ordered and takes up to three months to build, ship & deliver. And custom means custom, the options on our one sectionals gave us the choice of leather quality & color, color of thread, the type of stitching, they type of legs, tufted, buttons and many more choices. If your lucky they may have it in your choice of color at their warehouse and can deliver it quickly. As mentioned in other reviews they sell high end quality products from around the world. We have purchased items that are from Germany, Italy, and the USA. This is not a made in China, Indonesia, or some other country with poor quality control. The reason for a full five stars is we purchased some items that arrived sooner than expected. Due to the renovations of our place taking much longer than projected, Copenhagen kept our items in their warehouse for six months and never asked for full payment even when we asked them if they would like be paid in full. read more

They run this store like a small family business with pride and attention to detail. I have been browsing this store for years and finally got to a place in life where I am ready to buy and this is one of the only stores in the valley that I will buy furniture new from. i bought a couch 7 years ago. this year i walked in copenhagen store and told them one of my couch back rest broke. they sent out a technician after 7 month. they were booked out that far. Anyway the technician comes out, his name is Pascal, the best guy in the world. it was worth it for that long. based on what i told the sales people and what they figure out its wrong with my couch was different. Of all the places in Phoenix where you can get "European" style furniture, this is perhaps the only chain that lives up to the expectation. You're not just getting European style, the furniture is actually made in Europe, with many lines from (gasp) Denmark and some other Italian imports. For me, it started out with finding a dinning room table and chairs and spiraled out from there. The staff has been super friendly and always willing to go the extra mile on all my purchases there, whether I was spending big or small. Case in point, we were looking for some items from the Skovby line, a Danish furniture company that they carry in the store and from which we've bought other items in the past. Even though it wasn't something they normally carry, on multiple occasions, we've been able to special order. Just to be clear, this stuff is high end, made to order and shipped from Denmark to the US and then delivered by truck. It took us months to get some of it in, but it was absolutely worth it for genuine Danish cherry wood and to complete our matching sets. They could have easily told us that they were limited to what was in stock in the warehouse and the store itself, but we've never once had an issue placing custom orders. Also, if you're lucky enough to catch it, they have an annual event/sale where they provide genuine Danish pastries (trucked up from a Danish bakery in Tucson, run by a real Dane!) to their customers. It's always fun to head out for the pastries and scope out any new items in the store. Even if I'm not in the market for anything at the moment, there's usually something that will catch my eye, even if it's just a candle holder or a decorative bowl. Bar none, this is the best furniture store I've ever been to and by miles the best service I've ever gotten. I shudder to think about how much money I've spent in this place, but they definitely earned it. I could not be happier with authentic European furniture and I could not ask for more from the store. I will continue to do business with them and I urge anyone interested in European furniture to look here for the real deal. It's not cheap, not by a long shot, but you get what you pay for, and that includes the amazing service that this store provides. read more

Something for almost any budget, provided you're willing to walk next door to the lower-range Denmarket subsidiary. It's the first place I think of shopping for furniture because whenever I've tried someplace else, something has happened. Get on their mailing list for their annual (or semi-annual) warehouse sale. Sorely disappointed with my experience here. I wasn't acknowledged when I entered the store. The people behind me were. My husband and son came in later. They weren't acknowledged either. I looked at tables all around the store and not one person offered any assistance or made eye contact. So why couldn't I receive service? The only thing that made me different from every other customer who was acknowledged is that I'm black and I had my very well behaved children with me. So which factor was it that made these associates determine that I wasn't worthy of their attention? I don't know and I don't care. They will never see a dollar of mine and unfortunately for their bottom line, I am currently looking to do quite a bit of furniture shopping. Copenhagen was a great find. Even though we have seen it about 100 times driving up and down Camelback. Best selection of sofas we have seen to date. Great selection of contemporary classics and Natuzzi. They also have a more affordable section called Denmark. We finally found our sofa and chair! I think half our furniture in our house is from Copenhagen. Great style innovative designs and very contemporary. Always adds as a center piece on each room. The one set back is the quality of materials have seem to have declined over the years. Majority use to be solid wood, now it is mostly laminate partical board. There are some items that are built very solid, just make sure you inspect the entire item. read more

Very disappointing, not one salesperson greeted me, offered to assist me, or acknowledged my presence in any way. I browsed around for almost 30 minutes being completely ignored before I finally asked a salesperson if she could help me. We were interested in a particular leather sofa and inquired about custom orders with color options. She rudely said they do custom orders, but "I hope you know it will take a long time for that." She then pulled a number of color swatch books for me to figure out what leather options were available for the sofa, leaving me on my own to find a place to sit while trying to match swatch identification numbers to the sofa item number. Not once did she come back to check on me, nor offer to bring the heavy vase I was carrying around to the front desk for purchase. Of course, I couldn't find any matching leather swatches and finally gave up. The only redeeming quality was the salesperson Kevin who was helping me checkout. He was very nice and extremely helpful, which I greatly appreciated. We've been customers of this location for decades (my parents had a number of Copenhagen pieces throughout their home, as did I), but after having such a negative experience I hesitate to return. The salespeople at the Scottsdale location are so much nicer and professional. read more

I am newer to the area and in need of some dining room furniture. I checked out the Copenhagen store and was so disappointed. I received no greeting at all. I toured the store and at no time did anyone approach me. I saw some sales staff with customers so understandable that they were not able to acknowledge me. However not all sales staff were with customers and as I stated no one even made eye contact. Just plain disappointing! I went to Scandinavian Designs, a competitor who apparently is new to Phoenix, and with relief, had the exact opposite experience. I was able to make my dining room purchase, and had satisfaction through all steps of the process including the price point! read more

I have loved shopping in this store. So many contemporary furniture choices to see and test on the floor. The COVID policy was well enforced here and I felt safe. My last interaction was nothing but stellar. I bought a floor lamp with LED that were 4500 kelvin and very blue white in color. The manufacture came out with a new lamp in 3000 kelvin a week later and they happily exchanged it for me at no cost. Totally solved my issue and I will back there in the future read more

At this point just just about everything I have is from this place. Now it is on the pricier side, but the service is top notch. I cannot say how much i love the service I have received here each and every single time Careful what you buy because not everything is italian made and nor is it all solid wood products. Contrary to what you read they do sell products made in china like everyone else, not that there is anything wrong with it and not that the manufacturing is poor, but this is not about you get what you pay for o an economics lecture. Just sayin', if you are stupid enough to think everything made in one country is good or bad, then you may want to ask about the origin of your furniture so you are not disappointed. read more
