Came pretty late at night to get some food after going to a bar, and it was pretty active. The steak and eggs was really tasty and filling, also came with rice and beans that are hard to see in the picture. We also ordered a waffle that came with whipped cream and strawberries, which was so so good. The service was pretty fast, and a bunch of different people came over and helped us so always felt like we had a waiter even if ours wasn't around. Super cute late night vibe, good music and nice decor.

Coppelia is 24hrs that alone is enough to make it worth the visit. The Cuban vibes definitely make me feel at home. I love the versatility of their menu options. I ordered a Ropa Vieja and a Lychee Fresca. The bartender Raphael was attentive and knowledgeable about drink recommendations which I eventually decided on trying out. It's a great spot for a date solo or paired and to bring friends to.

my fav place to go when I am in NYC. Cuban diner open 24 hours with amazing drinks, servers, and food. no reservations. they will seat you when your whole party is there. I have fallen in love with their food mainly, but the vibes, drinks, and team make me want to introduce everyone to it fan favorites: - lomo saltado - ropa vieja - lechon - gamba al ajillo - cochinillo the staff came up to us to to ask us about the cochinillo bc it was a new item they were looking to serve on the regular menu. Be sure to check out their house specials for any good treat.

24 hour Cuban/Latin American diner with fun vibes. Came here for dinner and ordered a few plates to share. We got the Cubano, Camarones (shrimp) Cienfuegos, and Churrasco (steak). The steak stole the show for all of us, we were very pleasantly surprised by how perfectly it was cooked to order. The dish was super flavorful, and a really good size. Would absolutely order this again and again. The cubano was fine and the shrimp was pretty good, but not my favorite. The shrimp dish was pretty spicy and I had wished came with more shrimp. Food portions were pretty large for the most part, and we ended up leaving a bit of food on the table. Most cocktails were tequila and rum based, I ended up getting a Hemingway royal, but wasn't really feeling it so my boyfriend finished it for me.

Coppelia, a Cuban-inspired diner that is open 24/7, serving satisfying Latin comfort foods. Their menu is predominantly Cuban cuisine, however, you will also find some Mexican, Colombian, and Peruvian food. They also have a nice cocktail menu. It was hard to choose what I wanted to eat, they even have tempting all day breakfast menu. I opted for the Roja Vieja, a flavorful shredded beef dish prepared in a tomato-based sauce. What a hearty meal! And one of their popular dishes as well. It's a huge dish served with rice and black beans. My server also had recommended lomo salteado (beef short ribs) and the churrasco (skirt steak). I also enjoyed the cozy yet lively vibe. Overall, 4 stars.

Rating: 9.5/10 Date Last Visited: 1/25/2026 We ordered the Lomo Saltado ($30), Shrimp and Grits ($28), Mofongo Con Constilla ($30), Churrasco ($29), Steak Frites ($32), Ceviche ($17), and Dulce De Leche Pancakes ($17). Almost every dish was amazing, but the lomo saltado is the star of the show. The combination of the beef short rib, onions, tomato, and fries along with the sauces is perfect. The beef is extremely tender and the dish is super flavorful. It's worth going to Coppelia just to eat the lomo. For brunch, the shrimp and grits is really solid too, but a bit pricey for just four shrimps. The pancake was amazing too. For the dinner entrees, the churrasco and steak frites are also really good. Coppelia does a good job on all their dishes and I'm a huge pan. Overall, I would 100% recommend this place.

Very solid 24/7 diner! We got a ceviche style chips and salsa, the lomo saltado and enchiladas. The lomo saltado was a bit sweet but maybe that's the cuban style, I have only had the Peruvian style. Everything pretty solid! The service was also very solid the waiters were pretty attentive. The ambiance is exactly what you would expect at a classic diner!

I recently ate here on a whim and as an extreme lover of Latin food, was quite excited. Sad to say, I left pretty underwhelmed. I will say - I will definitely be back for their fried pickles. They are delicious, but everything else was just underwhelming. The oxtail empanada sounds absolutely delicious but it's mushy inside, and doesn't taste like oxtail. Also the pico that comes with it just doesn't match the taste I was expecting. I also got a shredded beef arepa and it just didn't have any kind of taste. I barely took four bites before giving up. I took the food to go because I didn't want to waste it, but it's just sitting in my fridge waiting to be chucked. Next time I'll come when I'm not hungry but want to snack.

I went to Coppelia with my boyfriend, and now I get why it's one of his favorite spots in the city!! The staff is genuinely warm and on it - so lovely. The host, the servers, everyone we met was friendly and attentive! I've tried the churrasco on one visit and the mofongo (the one with short rib) on another, and both were incredible. They're known for their Lomo Saltado, and that might honestly be one of the best dishes I've ever had in my life. My boyfriend gets it every single time - it's like a Peruvian/asian fusion dish with braised pork belly. Just know it's a huge bowl!! The drinks were great too. I had the passion fruit strawberry guarapita and loved it, and he got the passionfruit marg which was amazing! We also ordered maduros as a side. Soft, sweet, perfect. AMAZING food and great music -- super lively and lovely. I already want to go back!

I have been coming to Coppelia for over 10 years now if that gives any indication of how this review will go! I usually stick to what I know but on this lunch break decided to go for the fish tacos. Not my favorite thing on the menu let me tell you. First of all I hate when places advertise fish as being crispy and it is nothing of the sort. The fish was more flaky then crispy. It also was a mess to eat. It was constantly dripping and falling apart. And as for the coleslaw, it was more like wilted seasoned cabbage. The yuca fries are always a big hit! So crispy and soft on the inside. Now just because today wasn't a hit don't let it deter you. They have plenty of great dishes. The Cubano sandwich is always a hit you can't go wrong with. The tequenos are essentially like fried mozzarella sticks but so much better. The star of the show for me is their quesadillas!! The creamy spinach and Gouda cheese is soooo good together. It's like eating a spinach artichoke dip wrap which to me is amazing! The corn and cheese empanada is also a show stopper. The creamy ness from the cheese and sweetness from the corn and crispness from the turnover is so delicious. I can go on and on but before I end this review i need to tell you about their drinks. One drink specifically only known as The Gran Paloma. I cannot tell you how many hangovers I've had due to this wonderful drink. Many years ago they use to have the double portion of the drink and I am sad to report they no longer do. 3 of those double portion drinks would have me set! This drink is the perfect amount of sweet, tart and strong. The drink has cazadores blanco, passion fruit, lime juice and topped with grapefruit soda. And the tajin rim gives it that extra zestiness. I can't wait to continue coming for another 10 years!

I was able to get a seat immediately during a weekday night. Service was quick and food came out promptly. Restroom is kept clean! Pulpo y chorizo sandwich was decent with big chunks of octopus. The didn't cheap out. The mac chicharon was okay. I wish the chicharon/ pork meat was more crisp.

This is a great late-night spot if you're super hungry and want plenty of options. The food was surprisingly tasty. I had the oxtail empanada, which was delicious, and I really enjoyed the toppings. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles, and the portion was huge. She ended up taking half home and said the chicken was amazing. We didn't have to wait long for a table even though it was pretty crowded, and the food came out quickly. The inside has a typical diner vibe with a lively atmosphere. I definitely recommend this spot if you're in the city late and craving a hearty meal.

Not stoked about the fact that they have no vegan options. Not even soy milk for your coffee. What if you're lactose intolerant?! All restaurants should have at least some vegan options. Big fail for me. read more

This charming diner is open 24/7 with lots of delicious options. Service moves quickly but I didn't feel rushed. I had the arepas breakfast (a sandwich with eggs and guacamole) which appeared small and I was glad I had some fried yucca (super crispy with a great ají) as well. My sister had the blue corn pancakes (I don't ever think I've seen that on a menu before) and they were hearty in a way that many pancakes aren't. This is a pretty unique, cozy spot and I will definitely be back to try some more foods. read more

Place is ok. Stuff is ok. Food is nothing special. I didn't like the presentation of the food. Also I was so hungry for Cuban food and they didn't have all classic Cuban dishes. Also they didn't have sweet plantains and mamey milk shake - must have things for Cuban place. Design inside is boring. Wouldn't recommend this place. read more

They say "Speed kills!" And speed is exactly what you get at Coppelia. I sat at the bar, placed my order with a super friendly bartender named Walter, and was in and out, super satisfied, in no time. I had their chicken flautas (the first time I ever had flautas) and their lomo saltado and both of them were amazing. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for Hispanic food :) read more

This is a kinda fancy diner style restaurant, they specialize in Mexican/South American food, open 24h. Be prepared that the place will be packed, even on a weekday evening. I arrived on a Thursday evening, and I had to wait for a seat although I was the only person dining. The ambience is extremely noisy, good for parties to hangout though. I ordered the Mac and cheese with fried pork, yucca fries and a dulce de leche milkshake. The milkshake came out pretty soon, it was quite good, it had a strong flavor of the dulce se leche. My food came out super slow though, and I was not impressed. The yucca fries were oily and stiff, there were at least some that were hard to chew. The Mac and cheese just tasted like store bought Mac and cheese but with some fried pork skin inside. Nothing special, yet all that is surely not diner price. I've come to Coppelia a couple of times in the past couple of months and haven't been disappointed yet! Huge booths, delicious cuban foood, decent portions, open 24/7, what's not to love? Here's a bonus: check in on yelp for a free soda / iced tea. I've had to wait upwards of 30-40 minutes which isn't terrible, but I think it's been well worth the wait each time. Although the restaurant is dark and loud, it still feels intimate and cozy. Very non-pretentious (both the space, and the food), and no frills, which I absolutely love. Enchiladas, arroz con pollo are both delicious but my personal favorite and go-to here is the lomo saltado. Fries in a rice bowl with short ribs? Yes please! Service is decent, sometimes feels a little bit rushed, but overall the servers have been helpful when answering questions about the menu. Definitely a staple in the area! read more

I can't believe I've only found this place now!! Where have I been?! Coppelia is that restaurant where you can go in with whatever mood. They serve breakfast all day for all those breakfast lovers! During the day is when the ambiance is relaxing and, but when the evening comes, that's when this place REALLY pops and I mean IT IS POPPIN'!Music is loud but not annoying (they play Spanish classics!), ambiance is just right, and service is great. And of course, the food was AMAZING. There hasn't been anything I've had so far that was less than amazing. Guacamole is a MUST. Fish tacos are Scrumptious. Frita Cubana is Amazing. (It's a burger with pork belly and everything you could think of for a burger) Arepas are Great. Enchiladas are Good. (Though I only had a bite) Desserts are Delicious. I've tried the tres leche cake and the special that had meringue and key lime. They were both sooo good. I'd recommend this place to anyone but do be cautious that there WILL be lines in the evenings. But the lines are most definitely worth it. I'll be back very soon considering I've been there twice in a span of 3 days. Can't wait to try new items! read more

I got a Cuban sandwich to go. It was average. Nothing to brag home about. I also got the macaroni and cheese side. I think it was good, but you really don't get a lot for the price. If I was in the area, I would give it another try. Either these ratings are over hyped or I got the wrong thing. read more

If I could give zero stars based on tonight, I would. Large table of complete assholes were at table nearby, screaming and yelling LOUDLY...if you want to make an ass of yourselves, rent a private dining room. Manager (term used loosely) did nothing. Guess the table of idiots was more important than all the other diners in the area. Never coming here again. read more

Coppelia's food must be pretty amazing for everyone else to tolerate the service. Unfortunately we can't even rate the food because, after they sat us down they then ignored us completely for 20-30 minutes: ~15 minutes in we got up, went to the counter and asked for water, hoping they'd take the hint to get our orders -- nothing. ~25 minutes in we flagged a busboy and politely asked him to get our server -- nothing. During this whole time, maybe 8 or so staff members walked by our table: we tried making eye contact -- every single person avoided our eye contact like the plague.. Finally, 30 minutes later, we gave up and left. read more

My boyfriend and I come here quite often and have never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for a seat (most days no wait at all). Granted, we often sit at the counter, but when it's just 2 people, the counter is actually pretry great/intimate. We LOVE the yucca fries. Seriously, they are the best in the area. Spicy seafood soup is delicious as is the spicy pork version. If they have either as the soup of the day, I'm ordering. Now that I'm writing this, I realize we haven't had an average meal here yet. I'll keep testing that statement, but would recommend this W14th St. spot to anyone, at any time-- that's dates, friends, visiting parents, whomever! Can't usually say that about 24/7 establishments. read more

Sooooo disappointed! I've been coming to this place for plenty of times. I was telling my bf how good the mac and cheese was. So we ordered take out, which arrived extremely fast. We were so excited till we saw our food..... $11 mac and cheese for 3 bites?! It was in the tiniest container I have ever seen and only HALF full. the oxtail empanadas are also a NO, does not even qualify to be an empanada. read more

I eat here at least once a week. Whenever I have friends in town, I bring them here. The wait staff is very kind, the food is delicious and well priced. My go too are the cubano sandwich, frita cubana sandwich and the pan con lechon sandwich. All are amazing and will leave you pleased. I'd skip the fries if you're ordering for pick up, because soggy fries are gross. They're not overly crispy to begin with but go great with the chipotle mayo read more

Great place to dine on a budget. For the appetizer I had the quesadilla made with artichoke! Can I say amazing! Beautifully prepared and I swear the cheese just melted in my mouth. For the main course I had the arroz con pollo and yet again I was so pleased. They give you a lot of food for your buck. You will not be disappointed. My only issue is I wish this place was a little bigger. Very small tables and the noise in this place was just a lot for such a small place. Will definitely go back though read more

Few times in my life has a wait staff warned me about my liberal application of hot sauce. Here at Coppelia the warning war warranted, when we asked for the spicy fries with extra sauce. Authentic feel and taste I've rarely found in the United States. Coppelia, also offer great value for the money with appetizers and a meal for two for just $30. read more

O h my God, this place is so so good! Ordered French toast, they gave me real maple syrup, also the coffee Stumptown , he made it fresh to order just for me. Also for the French toast they give you Cageta , it's this really unusual caramel sauce. Tastes better than caramel. The place had a bit of a wait because it was packed when I first walked by. I thought it was a 24 hour diner, but it's a very interesting Cuban, Mexican and American cuisine place. Tonight is my first time here but they really pay attention to detail, the food is made with the finest ingredients, music sort of loud ,(Raygeton ) but very upbeat atmosphere. They have an extensive menu and a big desert menu too. If you are tired of the same old places to eat out please try this place! For me it was so worth it and surprisingly prices are not high at all. Coppelia is a throw back diner with a Latin infused menu of popular restaurant offerings ... I enjoy the healthy options on the menu such as their Havana (Kale) Salad (add shrimp, chicken, etc.) and my fave drink from the bar is the Gran Paloma, which is all that. Since they're open 24hrs its even more enjoyable for breakfast or an early lunch when its not a madhouse like during dinner hours! read more

The food Couldn't get over how delicious the food was here! Top of the order was the nachos which were super fresh. Following not so far behind was the Cuban sandwich which I paired with rice and beans. Truly five stars all the way The service Extremely attentive. Put up with my annoying questions of what to get and what's popular. Great service! The price Extremely affordable not a single item on my check was greater than $10.95 Overall: this shouldn't thought of as a midnight munch spot because it's 24/7. Cool to have a 24/7 diner near Chelsea - food is not stellar quality or anything (I'd be surprised if I ever came across a diner that had amazing food), but for what it's worth, the food that I've ordered was pretty good! I've been here on two separate occasions, and was happy with the food both times. The first time, I came during dinner time, so I got the Lomo Saltado (21.95) which is basically beef short ribs with onions, tomatoes, and rice. I love short ribs so I thought this was really good! On my second visit, I just got Huevos Rancheros for brunch - yummy, but not outstanding. For apps, I tried their empanadas, which were good but not all that. I also asked for cheese croquettes once but our waiter forgot about it - didn't mind it too much since I was already full from brunch. read more

This bar has a fun diner-y vibe, but it's not a good place to linger. We sat at the bar and the bartender wanted us to move along after we were done with our drinks. This is a good little nook to crash in if you're in Chelsea and don't want to traipse very far to find the next bar. There's also a cute donut shop next door if you're in need of a sweet treat after the alcohol! The cocktail that I tried had a great smokey taste! An interesting aftertaste for a berry flavored cocktail, for sure. read more

Amazing cuban diner! The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable and the servers are very helpful and nice. I came here to try the churrasco but sadly it was very late at night and they had run out! I was disappointed and ordered some mexican enchiladas and did not expect much from it! Boy!!! Was i wrong!! Great food and very reasonable price! Came here in a group of 4 during the week day, it was very busy and we had to wait for 20 minutes. I was surprised with the menu selection, felt like they pretty much got everything! I ordered salmon and brussel sprouts, my friends order a bunch of meat dishes to share, mostly beef, then a side of mac & cheese. Most items came out great, very tasty. My seared salmon was cooked perfectly as I wanted it rare and it was beautifully cooked. Brussel sprouts was delicious, too. Had a really nice dinner. First of all, I'm peruvian, and I got here pulled by a Cuban food crave, while nothing interesting was open on a Sunday midnight prior to a holiday. The place was packed! The bartender Pablo "The Flash" is an amazing man, who sold me into the Lomo Saltado first, and then into the Pisco Colada! I was like there's no way in hell they fare to the authentic Peruvian cuisine. And I was just blown away. The Lomo was one of the most delicious dishes I've tried. Meat melts in your mouth, and the habanero sauce is a hard kick of fire, but extra flavor. Colada was also fantastic, no surprise really as I watched from the barra how the Flash makes every drink with such a passion. Every time I am in NYC from now on, I'll make sure to get here to try something new. Their menu just looks so interesting. They got a customer for life. read more

This place is right across my in laws building. Passed it so many times and curious about the food. So glad we stopped in! I ordered the chicken la plancha. Sooooo delicious! For a Cuban diner, this place is as authentic as you'll get in NYC. Came here with my boyfriend, (who happens to be Cuban) and the food, music, and decor was all exactly what it should be. Service was very friendly and attentive, food was super cheap, and the place seemed to be filled with a lot of regulars who were ordering their "usual" from the waiters who knew them by name. We tried: Oxtail Empanada - 5 stars ~ Delicious!! This is a must try! Established in 2011.

In the heart of Havana is the ice cream parlor Coppelia, which over the years has become a key gathering spot for locals and tourists. Inspired by its magnetic appeal, Cuban-born partner Beatriz de Armas who cherished her childhood memories of many family visits to the popular destination set out to capture the same spirit to share it with New Yorkers and provide a cozy, all-day-all-night gathering place for family and friends. Together with partners chef Julian Medina, and Louis Skibar, they created NYCs own Coppelia; a Latin diner with a Cuban essence in the heart of Manhattans iconic neighborhoods. Meet the Business Owner: Julian M.

Julian Medina, chef-owner of Toloache, Yerba Buena, and Yerba Buena Perry, has been creating refined Latin cuisine for over fifteen years. After graduating from the French Culinary Institute in 1999, Julian sought to expand his professional cooking experience beyond Mexican and French cuisine by becoming the Executive Chef of SushiSamba, a popular Japanese-South American restaurant in New York City. Julian truly came into his own with the opening of Toloache in August 2007. Julian followed up the success of Toloache with the opening of Yerba Buena, in Manhattan's East Village, in June 2008. Yerba Buena's menu traverses Peru, Cuba, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and Spain, showcasing the chef's well-traveled and seasoned career. Nobody knew who we spoke to on the phone. Nobody appeared interested in finding answers. I repeatedly asked for a manager and got nowhere. It felt like nobody in the building had the authority, training, or desire to solve a problem that their own staff created. Let's review: Your employee tells us the bag is there. We spend nearly $100 on transportation to come get it. We arrive. The bag is gone. And the response is essentially a collection of blank stares and shoulder shrugs. No urgency. No accountability. No explanation. No solution. I've never seen a business so casually waste a customer's time and money. We left feeling completely dismissed and frankly wondering whether anyone at Fraunces Tavern has any idea what customer service is supposed to look like. Hundreds of dollars spent at the establishment. Nearly $100 spent returning because we trusted what we were told. So today my girlfriend and I were hanging out at the bar, waiting for our other half to arrive (they never did, so we ate there, more on that later.) The hostess told us we had to wait there until our party was complete-typical manhattan protocol, nbd. There were a couple of dudes sitting next to us (pretty sure they're the guys with the shitty reviews beneath mine.) They were doing that whole 'yeah my friend is totally coming he is a block away hes in a cab hes on his phone blah blah bullshit' for like an hour -which I only really care about because we got there first and were politely waiting for our friends to arrive (knowing full well their asses were probably still in bed hitting snooze.) Long story short they got pissed because they couldn't bully the poor employees into giving them a table early. (It's nice that they don't let assholes get their way when others actually follow rules.) Anyways, I love this place-24 hours, strong drinks, super clean and great, cheap food. I've probably been here five times in the past year and it's always very consistent. The bartender is really good about keeping your glasses full and knows the menu pretty well, which is great for when you actually wind up ordering at the bar. I got the guac, Fish Tacos and sweet plantains. The guac is super fresh and is unique since its paired with mixed chips instead of the typical tortilla chips. Fish tacos have just the right amount of flavor and are light as opposed to greasy. Sweet plantains come out just right-soft and super ripe with a strong, sweet flavor. A word of caution: their margaritas pack a punch, so be mindful if you indulge. The only downside is the single bathroom, which can get a bit dicey, especially after a few margaritas. I've been to Coppelia multiple times, and it rarely disappoints! This visit was no exception. We started with the Tequeños and Frito Mixto as appetizers, and they were absolutely delicious. The Tequeños were perfectly crispy on the outside with warm, gooey cheese inside. The Frito Mixto was a delightful mix of fried goodness, bursting with flavors and textures. For our mains, we had the Reina Pepiada Arepa and the Chicken Fried Steak. The Reina Pepiada Arepa was phenomenal - a perfect blend of creamy avocado and tender chicken, all wrapped in a warm arepa. It was filling and flavorful, truly a standout dish. While the Chicken Fried Steak wasn't the best I've had here, it was still decent. Considering my previous experiences with their food have always been really good, I can overlook this slight miss. Coppelia consistently delivers on taste and quality, making it one of my favorite spots. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Called Coppellia for a delivery order on Wednesday 3pm for a delivery order and the female manager who answered was obnoxiously RUDE. She wanted us to prepay on a small order and said because of my address that was the case(zero explanation why). I have spent 10k this year in orders and catering from Coppellia and my first time ordering to this address as it is a social club with many different people ordering. I explained to her the situation and asked her why and she was snappy and short with me. "Am i canceling the order or are you paying the check". She will never get another cent of my money to pay her salary. I work in the hospitality business and managers like this are a cancer to your work environment. T if your not happy with the career path, there is many careers outside of hospitality where you can be extra snappy to your customers. MTA, DMV, etc etc. It is acceptable to talk down with no explanation in these fields. I WILL NEVER BE RETURNING or ORDERING because of poor management. read more

We went here for Brunch on a Sunday. The place was quite packed and we were seated fairly quickly, but the service seemed a bit too slow and indifferent. We placed our orders and had to wait a really long time, almost 30-40 minutes to get our food. The food once it arrived was alright, not as spectacular as some of the reviews would have you believe. The Avocado Toast was good, but the chicken sandwich was alright and the Huevos Coppelia was like a less tasty eggs Benedict with a small side of home fries. The eggs in the Benedict were over-done and not runny. We also got the corn on the cob which seemed interesting but quite overpowered by the chipotle mayo they put on it. Another bummer was that the Cuban-style spicy green sauce you get in Tina's or Sophie's was nowhere to be found. Perhaps we ordered the wrong stuff. Huevos Rancheros/Huevos Coppelia They have a tendency to overcook the eggs at Coppelia, therefore drying out the entire dish. Both the Huevos Rancheros and Huevos Coppelia suffered a similar fate, as did the omelette we got on the following trip. Maybe it's the Latin way, but we don't like our eggs dry like the desert. Get something else off the all day breakfast menu. Home Made Ricotta Waffles Solid. We enjoyed these light, airy waffles. Nachos One of our favorite things here, we've ordered the nachos every time we've visited. Made with chihuahua cheese, black beans, jalapeño, and chopped beef short ribs, this is fun for the whole table. Empanadas The empanadas are one of the highlights of the menu and definitely warrant investing some stomach real estate towards. Our two favorites are the Oxtail Empanada and the Sweet Corn and Chicken Empanada. read more

Can't believe this place is 24 hours... food was unreal! Amazing Spanish music. Very lively, and the service was super quick. I ordered the arroz con pollo (yellow rice with vegetables, egg, chicken) it was AMAZING! I can't even explain. Such a simple dish yet it was the best I've had, I literally crave it regularly! The guacamole and sweet plantains I got as sides and both were very flavorful. I hate to say the chocolate cake wasn't good though. They did mention that they make all of their desserts there, but it tasted very dry, not fresh, and was freezing cold. Next time I will try something else because they do have a great big selection of desserts! Only other issue is that there is always a long wait, so your waiting awkwardly at the front door that has no space watching everyone eat around you lol. read more

Food is great, service is good. However, make sure you check your bill (particularly the drinks) before you pay. My partner gave me his credit card before he went to the restroom, so I could pay and save time. The waiter saw this and I'm guessing he assumed I would give him the card without checking the bill. But I did. They charged us $65 for a pitcher of sangria when it was listed on the menu for $50. I went straight to the manger and was told they changed the menu "just yesterday" but the waiter never mentioned there was a price change when we ordered. I told them they needed to honor what was on the menu and then they changed the bill. But this experience left us with a very bad feeling. After years of patronizing this establishment, I will not be returning again. Very disappointing. read more

The waiter name in the blue is RENE H and the Manager (beard) didn't want to tell me his name . These people were so rude to me and call me the N-word and told me to go back to my country. The guy in the blue touch my butt when I was walking Towards the bar. The manager in the nasty beard Told me that I deserved it. The food was very cold and very nasty. I asked him to give me separate checks from the beginning I walked inside the "restaurant" And they told me it was OK. Once it was ready for the bills to be paid; they gave us same check and told us they never was aware that we wanted it to be separate. The menu was an interesting mix of Cuban, Southwestern and Latin American dishes. We wanted breakfast so two of us had omelets with various additions-bacon, cheese, spinach,tomatoes and mushrooms. They were served with a side of chimichurri seasoned home fries and toasted Cuban bread. The other in our party had blue corn pancakes with berries and agave nectar. We all had cafe con Leche and were pleased with our selections. They also had snacks, sandwiches such as Cuban, grilled chicken, grilled cheese with bacon,BLT, and burgers to name a few. I tried giving this place multiple chances but every. Single. Time. I came here I left with very intense stomach pains... enough to have me lie flat on my chest the entire night and same for my husband. The last time we even got food poisoning which really sucks because we love the ambiance here. I don't know if they maybe reuse their oil or whatever else food safety concerns need to be checked... I will say that their security is always very nice and even on busy nights the service at the bar (which is usually where we always sit) is great We have never had issues eating any place else especially at late night spots. read more

I have eaten here 3 times in the past 10 days. Every time the food has been great and the service has been good. I highly recommend trying the Hash de costilla, the oxtail empanadas and the cafe con leche. Also do ask for the hot sauce because it is Amazing too. I love that this place is open 24/7. I came here with my boyfriend one day... A friend had suggested trying Cuban food. Ordered the ceviche, and a grilled cheese sandwich. Kinda weird to see grilled cheese sandwiches at an ethnic restaurant, but it has jalapeños inside it, which made it all the better. Quite possibly the best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had in my life! They also have a cell phone charging station, but they charge you $1. Which is worth it, I guess. My friend and I visited Coppelia last night and had a complete blast with Karen! She offered us stellar service from the moment we entered the restaurant, and engaged in such fun conversation. I'm always dubious about 24/7 eateries but I had nothing to worry about with Coppelia! Their mac n cheese was delicious! A little spicy, a little crunchy, lovely and creamy, yum! I had the pork chuleta with spicy kale and peaches and I would go back tomorrow for the spicy kale, the pork was just the slightest bit dry but still good. We had the seasonal cocktail 'Honey Bee' and they were really nicely mixed. We sat at the bar and the service was great and I can't wait to go back! read more

Were there this past Sunday. restaurant looks good food looked good too. There was four of us for brunch we got a table fast....:) but waited more than 1hr and no food ,so we walked out. people after us got their food much faster !!!! no one came to say what is going on.....when we asked to see a the manager no one came, so we left. ran into the manger in 14st and told him what happened no reaction not Even come back and i charge you 1/2 off ........nothing. so bad...:( read more

The hostess who looks like a rat had an attitude since we stepped in. She shuffled other people around us and wouldn't work with us, when we just simply asked for a bar stop she sat someone who can in after us and then wouldn't even cooperate giving us a booth. I went for lunch and had the cubano. They had a special that offered a soup or salad, so I had the soup. The soup of the day was a spicy fish soup and it was to die for! It was tasty with generous chunks of delicious fish (might be salmon). The cubano sandwich was as reputed to be -- scrumptious with a perfect combination of meat and cheese. The cost of the lunch was amazingly inexpensive for a convenient location in Manhattan. read more
