This place is delicious. Their pasta dishes are very creamy. I have tried the pink one (which is usually my go to if Italian restaurants offer it) with angel hair but I remember it needed more seasoning (maybe salt) so the next time I tried the Alfredo with Campanella pasta shape and it was cooked to al dente perfectly and good taste. All their dishes are a good amount of sauce not too little not too much but enough to leave some to dip the bread. If you are a chocolate lover, I recommend trying their chocolate decadence dessert. It's like a brownie but cakey with melted chocolate in the middle kind of like an upgraded version of a Chili's lava cake. They add a berry coulis/compote sauce that the nice smiling man Craig told me they make in house. With fresh whipped cream it seems. It's the best chocolate cake I've found in Dallas so far that I get when I get a craving now. I do think their food is pricey though so 4 stars bc of that. read more

We visited Copper & Vine for the first time but certainly not the last! We sat in the bar where David, the bartender, served us a delicious cabernet from Argentina for happy hour. They had a list of drinks offered for only $5 on their happy hour menu. We then had the most amazing French onion soup and Caesar salad! For our entrees, my wife chose the bolognese large enough for two people to share. I chose the ribeye and frites. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and came with a tasty compound butter I put on my steak and broccolini. We finished our dinner by sharing a piece of olive oil cake and a cup of coffee. The owner, Craig Vaught, stopped by our table to introduce himself and to welcome us. We learned that they offer special events like wine and food tastings as well as a fun bartender class! We can't wait to return with our friends for dinner! This place will definitely be added to our rotation of dinner spots! We even joined their VIP list so that we will get information about all their upcoming events. The food is just not that good. I ordered primavera pasta (linguine add $2.50 for gluten free and had no idea) with chicken $28. Terribly dry chicken with no taste. My girlfriend ordered the meatball appetizer ($18) for 3, rock-hard tasteless meatballs, my friend couldn't eat his food. It's just not good which is too bad. Hopefully, they can improve but based on the 4.5 stars thus far, people must like so maybe it's me....We did get the wedge salad and that was good.
