A well stocked bar and Abby is there best bartender.

Eating at the bar once again; Abby is the best bartender they have here at Copper Cellar. She is always working and never leaves you waiting for service. The bar is comfortable with a television and excellent piped in music. Most nights sports are on over the bar; with occasional bloopers or AFV showing. Food is excellent, bread is always required. And a Jack and coke rounds out the menu.

Always great food and consistent good service. The vibe is a mix of semi casual and formal all in one. Tonight we visited for Easter specials. The crab fingers were great, slightly seasoned with drawn butter. The spinach artichoke dip is always great and served with house fried chips. The chop steak is fresh ground daily in house. It normally comes with bell peppers and onions but I'm not a pepper girly. Their steak fries are baked potato wedges that are flash fried crisp which is better than frozen fries. The steak special was the 28oz bone in ribeye that is also cut fresh daily. It originally comes with balsamic onions and a blue cheese butter, but we opted for no onions and swapped for Worcestershire butter and had it with the spicy spinach Mac and cheese. The dessert was the strawberry shortcake with every component being made from scratch in house too! We also got the house made chocolate cake special to go. Wonderful meal we will be back!

Yesterday after running some errands, we decided to go to Copper Cellar for lunch. My biggest complaint about Copper Cellar is that there's only one ramp on the other side of the parking lot to get on the sidewalk. After we ordered, they brought us freshly baked sourdough bread. I thought the bread had a strong sourdough taste and was incredibly soft. For my meal, I ordered Maryland Crab Cakes and they were served with one side and I decided to go with blue cheese grits. The crab cakes had a beautiful golden brown crust and were incredibly lumpy. I thought the grits were very creamy and had a mild blue cheese flavor. I highly recommend trying the crab cakes with the grits. My mom chose the Seared Ahi Tuna Salad and she loved it. My dad got the chicken salad sandwich with fries and he thought it was good. If you're ever in the area of Copper Cellar, I highly recommend checking them out.

We had an AMAZING time this evening for Valentine's Day! I made a mistake and booked online for the wrong day and they made it work anyway. Made our Valentine's Day! The food was spectacular. The bread was unbeatable. Loved the crab fingers and our steaks were perfect! Our server had vast knowledge of the wine selection and suggested a wine that paired perfectly with our meal. We were treated with the utmost respect and felt like extremely welcomed guests. Can't wait to return!

Food was absolutely delicious, every dish we ordered hit the mark. It was busy on a Saturday night, and for good reason. Our waitress was fantastic, keeping our drinks full and making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. The ambiance is warm and lively, and even sitting at the bar makes for a great experience. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

After a long day of stressors my mom and I decided to stop in at Copper Cellar for a bite. Eden was our waitress who was absolutely amazing! She greeted us immediately with the biggest smile and definitely brought some peace after a long day. We started our meal with French onion soups which were delectable! I then had the blue cheese sirloin and was obsessed with it. It was cooked to perfection and satisfied every craving. I miss the Cumberland Ave location but will forever go to the west locatio

Outstanding Service and Old-School Hospitality!…read more I recently visited Connor's Steakhouse in West Knoxville, and while my steak unfortunately wasn't cooked to order the first time, I was extremely impressed with how the staff handled the situation. Our waiter immediately took care of it and went above and beyond by having an entire new meal prepared for me. Even more impressive, my meal was completely comped, and we were offered a free dessert while we waited for the replacement meal. The manager also personally stepped in multiple times to check on us and make sure everything was taken care of. You could tell that customer satisfaction wasn't just something they talked about -- it was genuinely important to them. Mistakes can happen in any restaurant. What really separates a great restaurant from the rest is how they respond when something goes wrong. Connor's handled it with professionalism, courtesy, and genuine concern. I especially want to compliment the entire team for maintaining that old-school charm of taking care of the customer and making things right. That kind of service is becoming harder to find, and it deserves recognition. Thank you to the waiter, manager, and everyone at Connor's for turning what could have been a disappointing experience into one that actually made me appreciate the restaurant even more. Five stars for the service, professionalism, and commitment to taking care of the customer!

My husband and I visited Fire + Smoke in Knoxville on a whim, looking for somewhere different that…read moreneither of us had tried. We secured a same-day reservation, and it turned into one of the best dining experiences we've had in quite some time. Don't let the unassuming strip-mall location fool you. Inside, the restaurant is intimate, beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Every table appeared occupied, yet it never felt loud or crowded. We could easily carry on a conversation without competing with the room around us. We arrived early and started at the beautiful bar, separated from the dining room by a glass fireplace. My husband ordered an Old Fashioned, his usual benchmark at a new bar. Served over a single large cube, it was properly spirit-forward rather than overly sweet and exactly his preference. I was intrigued by the Campfire Martini but don't particularly enjoy mezcal, so our bartender enthusiastically substituted bourbon. With chocolate liqueur, smoked marshmallow syrup, cream, cocoa and smoked graham cracker, it was rich and chocolate-forward while still allowing the bourbon to shine. My only minor critique was the lemon on the rim, which didn't quite complement the bourbon and chocolate. I suspect it works better with the original mezcal. Our server, Rosa, personally came to the bar to tell us our table was ready. That small touch was the beginning of exceptional service. We often share an entrée, so we chose the 14-ounce Prime New York Strip and asked Rosa for guidance on accompaniments. This is where she really distinguished herself. Rather than simply telling us what was popular or expensive, she could discuss ingredients, preparation, flavors and pairings. Her enthusiasm for the food was genuine, and her recommendations were spot-on. We started with the Caesar, thoughtfully divided into two bowls by the kitchen. Crisp greens, freshly shaved Parmesan, excellent croutons, house-made bacon bits and a rich dressing where you could actually taste the anchovy made this an outstanding Caesar. At Rosa's recommendation, we chose the smoked baked potato. She was absolutely right. Creamy and light with a distinctive smoky character and what tasted like rosemary-forward butter, it was far more interesting than I expected from a baked potato. Then came the Prime New York Strip, ordered medium-rare and cooked perfectly. I'm particularly critical of restaurant steaks because I'm very comfortable preparing them at home. This easily ranks among the top three restaurant steaks I've eaten and may be the best New York strip I've had anywhere. It was seasoned beautifully without masking the quality of the beef. The house-made creamy horseradish was wonderful with both the steak and potato, although neither needed anything added. We were completely full when Rosa mentioned dessert. We agreed to hear the selections only for future reference. That plan didn't survive her description. We ordered the crème brûlée cheesecake, and Rosa suggested substituting bourbon-infused ice cream for the usual lavender. It was an inspired pairing. The cheesecake had a beautifully brûléed top, and the ice cream was vanilla-forward with just enough bourbon to give it character. I'm not a huge fan of graham-cracker crust and thought it slightly overpowered the cheesecake; my husband thought the balance was perfect. Considering how quickly we finished it, he may have won that argument. Rosa deserves special recognition. She was one of the most knowledgeable and genuinely helpful servers we've encountered in quite some time. She was attentive without hovering and never made us feel hurried despite a full restaurant. My husband actually commented that she should be training other servers. Too often, asking a server for a recommendation gets you what's most popular or expensive. Rosa could explain WHY she recommended something. She understood flavors and pairings and genuinely seemed excited about the kitchen's work. That made a tremendous difference in our experience. The menu changes seasonally, so a few things we'd seen in older reviews weren't currently available, including a bread service my husband hoped to try. Rather than a true negative, it gives us another reason to return. Fire + Smoke feels upscale without being stuffy. We happened to be in shorts and felt completely comfortable, yet it would be equally appropriate for a special occasion. Beautiful atmosphere, excellent cocktails, thoughtfully prepared food and exceptional service. The steak alone would bring me back. The smoked potato would bring me back. But Rosa and the attention to detail turned a wonderful dinner into a memorable dining experience. We went looking for somewhere different. We found somewhere we're already looking forward to visiting again.

The hot honey chicken sandwich tasted fine, the chicken was extremely thin but at least they had two small chicken patties on there. The bacon had a nice sweetness with the honey and crisp to it. Overall the flavor was fine but didn't stand out compared to similar offerings from average chain restaurants. The cheeseburger was the definition of average. Barely seasoned patty and that's about all I remember. I could not taste the cider in the highly touted "cider slaw", and was hardly a cut above KFC slaw. Firebirds burned me out charging steakhouse prices for mid-tier chain quality. I have to hope it was just a bad day for them but will be hard pressed to return.

I know there isn't a dress code per se, but I didn't want to cause issues either looking like a bum on a Saturday night. I called them in advance, otherwise I would have time to Texas Roadhouse. The hostess was very nice and told me not to worry. That's exactly what I wanted to hear! I got sat immediately and I went to work. Flipping my coaster to green, I ate non-stop meats (mostly picanha, since that's my favorite). I do like how they have salt shakers and pepper at the table. Granted some of the complaints for Brazilian steakhouses is that it's too salty. Brazeiros wasn't salty enough but having the option to add my salt and pepper to every sliced meat was great. I also like how they have the grilled pineapple, which is something not all churrascarias do. I ate continuously for an hour and a half and then went on my merry way back to Nashville! We were greeted promptly and taken to our table. Within maybe a couple minutes our waiter Katie came by to check on us and get our beverage order. My wife ordered the won-ton tuna appetizer as her meal and I surprised myself by ordering the meatloaf special with green beans and onion rings. I know the meatloaf come with some onion straws. But I had a taste for actual onion rings and appetizer order plus the meatloaf dinner was going to be way too much. Meals arrive fairly quickly and I realize that there is a lot of meatloaf with a nice size bowl of green beans and my onion rings. Meatloaf was very tasty and still very warm. Green beans were perfectly seasoned and also very warm. Glad I didn't order the cheddar mashed potatoes as no way is all of this getting eaten tonight. However, the onion rings were HUGE and very good. You know how sometimes you order onion rings and either the onion pulls completely out or the batter falls apart? Well not these. They were very good and I am glad I substituted for them. My wife's tuna looked great and the won-tons were very crispy. The tuna was a little too peppery for her taste, but she was able to take a bunch of the pepper off. Overall, this is a great restaurant with moderate pricing that lets you leave full and not broke!
