    Beef tartare

I picked this restaurant for a work dinner. Everything was so good better than I could have imagined. The service was excellent! The ambiance actually makes it perfect for date nights or anniversary celebrations specifically. We ordered the American wagyu steak options for entrees. I got the ribeye my friends both got the filet. The steak melts in your mouth so delicious!! For appetizers we ordered the Beef tartare and the pork belly. Finished the meal off with crème brûlée cheesecake and ice cream The drinks were really good as well This place is definitely worth checking out for any and all drinks f your celebrations in life!!!!

This place exceeded my expectations for fine dining! The restaurant was very clean and very nicely decorated! You feel like you're in a modern cabin kinda vibe. Service was excellent! We ordered a bit of everything: Ribeye, Brussels sprouts, some of their specialty desserts...everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend if you're in the Knoxville area!

Our party of four ate at Fire Smoke recently. It was our first visit, and we came away very impressed. Decision to dine here was made sort of last minute, so we didn't have a reservation. We arrived shortly after the restaurant opened and were seated in the bar area. First off, the restaurant is beautifully decorated. It's on the small side and feels very cozy and intimate. Our server was amazing in guiding us through the menu. We all started with cocktails which were so good! For entrees, I had the salmon, and others had the fillet, roasted chicken and the pork chop. It was all delicious!

Ate at Fire + Smoke tonight. You definitely need a reservation and this is an upscale restaurant. The steaks were excellent with a good seasoning, moist, and cooked to order. The steak fries are a little too salty, and left in the oil a little long, but had great flavor and were filling. It was my wife and I on one ticket and our two friends on their own ticket. With dinner, an appetizer, and alcoholic beverages our total with gratuity was about $250. Follow me on Yelp for more to see and do and eat in Knoxville and the East Tennessee area.

Service was amazing, thank you Joe. The food was 10/10! I've never had a better steak than at this steak house... and the pork belly, I could eat that everyday

Date night with my hubby, so wanted to try this newer place. Absolutely awesome! Nice dining area, but not a huge place. The service is great. The food is absolutely delicious! The North Carolina trout was perfectly seasoned and grilled. One of the best fish I've ever eaten, for real. Sides are all delicious, especially the mushrooms and mashed potatoes. We finished with a gluten free torte, yum! Excellent, high quality food, with thought and care put into it. Totally recommend!!! Can't wait to go back!!

A great first-time experience. The front of the restaurant is misleading because of its small strip shopping center location. However, upon entering, it reveals itself as a dark, warm, tasteful, classy, and romantic space. Their wine list is extensive, although not much by the glass is offered. The Wednesday special made ordering a bottle a much better deal, though. We had the Justin Cabernet sauvignon. The menu is very well-rounded with plenty to offer; of course, steak is their specialty, so that's what we ordered. The filet mignon is only offered at eight oz., and the menu prices are very high, so we split our meal. Our server provided outstanding and attentive service throughout. He readily accommodated our split meal by having the salad prepared on two different plates and providing us with an additional plate to split the main course (without having to ask). We had the Fire+Smoke salad, the 8oz filet (medium), and a side of rustic mashed potatoes and crispy brussel sprouts. Their specialty salad was perfect. The steak was amazing. Every last bite was delicious. And the sides were a perfect compliment to the meal. Overall, it's a notable place for a great meal but also very expensive.

They were unusually busy because of college graduations. We had a shrimp appetizer which was recommended by the bartender. It was delicious! It had the right amount of spice for us. Our table was ready right as we finished our appetizer. The hostess was very polite and asked us if we were celebrating anything special.. We were promptly greeted by our server Elisabeth who was wonderful. She told us the specials and inquired if it was our first visit. We ordered the espresso rubbed ribeye w/ a baked potato & Caesar salad. We decided to share a steak and ordered an extra wedge salad. Everything was delicious. The steak was a perfect medium. The butter that is served with the bread is heavenly. I was thrilled with my Caesar salad that had anchovies on top. My wedge salad was amazing. This was one of the best steaks we have ever had. We would highly recommend the restaurant for lunch or dinner. 5 ask for Elisabeth if you want a wonderful dining experience!

They just tasted like fake or kind of gamy. Wasn't a fan of that, but there was definitely plenty of food to choose from and desserts! Our server was super sweet and made sure to refill our drinks and take our dirty plates often Overall, I think the food was good, especially for the price and there's a ton of options. Our drinks sat empty for long stretches, the bread was hard, and my steak wasn't cooked anywhere close to how I ordered it. What surprised me most was that our server never once came back to ask how the food was or if everything was okay, so there wasn't really an opportunity to have anything corrected. It also felt like a missed opportunity that no one even asked whether we were celebrating anything. We were there for my brother's college graduation, and while I wasn't expecting free desserts or a big production, most restaurants at this price point at least ask the question. It would've been a nice touch and made the experience feel a little more personal. For a bill that came to around $250, I expected a much higher level of service and food quality. I don't mind paying for a great meal and experience, but this just didn't deliver enough to justify the price. It was my first visit - my family's third time. We drove over an hour to get there.

I was craving a steak and knew about Brazeiros when they first opened many many years ago. I know there isn't a dress code per se, but I didn't want to cause issues either looking like a bum on a Saturday night. I called them in advance, otherwise I would have time to Texas Roadhouse. The hostess was very nice and told me not to worry. That's exactly what I wanted to hear! I got sat immediately and I went to work. Flipping my coaster to green, I ate non-stop meats (mostly picanha, since that's my favorite). I do like how they have salt shakers and pepper at the table. Granted some of the complaints for Brazilian steakhouses is that it's too salty. Brazeiros wasn't salty enough but having the option to add my salt and pepper to every sliced meat was great. I also like how they have the grilled pineapple, which is something not all churrascarias do. I ate continuously for an hour and a half and then went on my merry way back to Nashville! After last night I'm not sure if we will ever return. We were seated outside at a table that was right in front of the in and out doors. We waited almost 15 minutes before someone came to wait on this. Honestly this would have been longer if my husband hadn't gone in to ask about a server for our table. Mind you, there were plenty of servers walking to help the other tables around us as we were waiting. Finally a server walked up, her name started with an A, and she was very flippant with helping us. I ordered a beer and my husband ordered water and son ordered a soda. We also went on and ordered since we had no idea when she would return for our order. She brought the water and soda but no beer and then we didn't see her (at our table) until our food came out. My beer came out with the food, a good 10 minutes after I ordered it. I know you may be thinking that the bar was backed up but her other table (that arrived after) got their drinks right away and also a 2nd order of drinks before I received my beer. She never came to check on us with our food and spent more time at the table that arrived with her friends. Her attitude and personality was vastly different with our table versus her friend's table. When it came time to get us our check. I saw her roll her eyes and walked towards us. I let it slide instead of calling her out on her actions as I just wanted to leave. We paid our check and left. I have to state my bias upfront - my favorite French chef in the world is chef Ludo and I have gone to several of his restaurants. I rate every French onion soup to his. The way the restaurant prepares the soup is they put the soup and cheese in the bowl and then drown it in some type of liquor like a cognac or brandy. Then they light the top of the soup on fire, which is supposed to present the melted cheese while at the same time burning off the alcohol. The soup I got tasted so much of alcohol. I could not eat it. And it was a little bit skimpy on the cheese.
