This place has blown me away. Between the filet, green beans, broccoli casserole or my son's kids prime rib this place hits on every bite.I have never experienced a place that has such a great family/chill environment but AMAZING food!! The service was quick and so friendly! We were in and out in 45 min! I will always come back!

This has long been one of my favorite restaurants. When I came in the hostess asked me if I had been there before because I looked familiar. It's been a while, but after I thought about it, I realized that the first time I visited this great restaurant was 40 years ago. They've been open much longer than that. I love the rustic charm. The food is always excellent and the service is down home impeccable. I always try to eat here anytime I'm in the area. Family owned by the same family that opened in the 60s. I almost always get the prime rib but everything is delicious. Highly recommended.

Imagine damn good food meets a very old place at the bottom of the hill (road). Nothing fancy here but the awesome food and awesome service! Hell, we had to use a specific door so not to let the little AC they did have escape. Got the 16oz Prime Rib, medium rare (on the rare side please) and I left with the meat sweats!! Absolutely fantastic. I love traveling for work and love traveling with my family just to discover places like this!!

Born and raised in Tennessee, but live in California now. While traveling home for a personal visit, we stopped into Ye Olde for a steak. This reminded me of why I miss home so much. With a "deep south" atmosphere, very nice people, and juicy steaks...this place is easily my top 3 favorite steakhouses in Knoxville. Will definitely come back whenever I'm in town

Really interesting location right off the highway and a confusing parking lot. You have an initial parking lot that has a really weird layout and then extra parking is in the waaaaaaaay back - you have to drive up and over a hill into a barren lot that seems like it will be used for some future development. The inside of the restaurant is very homey and cool, though. Be ready to pay a pretty penny - but you are getting some good food. I went with the ribeye + shrimp combo, which tasted good. I got potatoes for a side, which I found to be good too. I don't think I'd come back, but you do get some pretty good food here. The steak was tasty, the shrimp was good, and the potatoes were good too.

Great spot. Friendly, attentive service compliments an amazing array of beef. Salads were fresh and homemade dressings were outstanding. My group had an assortment varying from prime rib to sirloin to filet and all were cooked to perfection and tasty. Sides let the beef be the star. Ive never had a bad meal here. I'm already awaiting my next trip!!!

Went to Ye Olde the other day. I had gone years ago and really wanted to support a local icon again. You park above the restaurant, but it would be nice if they could make a nice walkway with handles to come down the hill. You walk in the road, which runs next to the restaurant, in order to get to the entrance. Isn't very safe. The restaurant had curtains near the kitchen areas and storage closets. Glancing down the hall, you could tell it was messy. Our server did a good job and was nice. The iced tea was good. I got the prime rib and wasn't excited to spend $50 for an entree that was mainly fat. The one another member of my party had looked great. The potato was good though. Another person got the hamburger steak medium well with mushrooms and gravy; the meat was well done. I didn't think I was at a steakhouse when we were being served crackers instead of bread...it really cheapened the experience. The bathroom is disappointing and is like a gas station bathroom. I would have thought it would have been remodeled since the fire. However, it had the same gas station sink, the floor sank in on the toilet, and there was toilet water all over the floor. Oh, you have to walk through a filthy curtained storage closet to access the bathroom door, which doesn't close without the lock put on it. I don't know if I want to go back when I can spend the same $ and have a nicer experience.

    Charge extra paying credit card.

All six of us had PrimeRib. All said it was good but not great. At $41.00 for a 16oz I would have expected better. But here is the gripe. Cash price $279.13 and if paying credit card $287.50 an additional $8.37 and I don't like that.

The Aesthetic: Lodge style, romantic steakhouse with an impressive steak, seafood, and dessert menu. The Price: The price is higher for the area, but the food was very high quality. They don't serve beer and liquor, but you can bring your own wine and they will serve it chilled with your dinner for a setup of 2.50 a person. The Parking: The parking situation is stressful since it's located right off of a major busy highway. I wouldn't recommend parking right in front, since it's difficult to pull out. There is a side lot, up a steep hill on the right side of the restaurant that has a large amount of spots. Prepare to walk back up after you're full! My Order: Our group brought wine, and we loved that the server brought it out chilled for us, she was very sweet. I ordered the shrimp cocktail with a loaded baked potato, and my Dad had his favorite Prime Rib. The salmon and filet were also ordered, and everyone devoured their meals! The Prime Rib was so massive, my Dad took half home for dinner the next day! The Conclusion: This is a great steakhouse for a family outing or date night, we will go here again and again.

It was about 3:00 and the restaurant was on a 45 minute wait. We decided to sit at the bar and have an appetizer while we waited for our table. They were unusually busy because of college graduations. We had a shrimp appetizer which was recommended by the bartender. It was delicious! It had the right amount of spice for us. Our table was ready right as we finished our appetizer. The hostess was very polite and asked us if we were celebrating anything special.. We were promptly greeted by our server Elisabeth who was wonderful. She told us the specials and inquired if it was our first visit. We ordered the espresso rubbed ribeye w/ a baked potato & Caesar salad. We decided to share a steak and ordered an extra wedge salad. Everything was delicious. The steak was a perfect medium. The butter that is served with the bread is heavenly. I was thrilled with my Caesar salad that had anchovies on top. My wedge salad was amazing. This was one of the best steaks we have ever had. We would highly recommend the restaurant for lunch or dinner. 5 ask for Elisabeth if you want a wonderful dining experience!

Be prepared they almost always have a weight come dinner time. They told us about a 25 minute wait but it really only you landed up like maybe 10 minutes for two people and a baby. It's very busy inside. You'll have to step around people a lot, but I feel like that's common for a buffet. Food was constantly being brought out and was nice and hot. I absolutely love their chicken and dumplings, fried chicken, and their green beans the mac & cheese was extremely watery and not that great and we were super disappointed in the steaks. They just tasted like fake or kind of gamy. Wasn't a fan of that, but there was definitely plenty of food to choose from and desserts! Our server was super sweet and made sure to refill our drinks and take our dirty plates often Overall, I think the food was good, especially for the price and there's a ton of options. It is a bit loud because tables are very close together. But again that just has a lot to do with the fact that it is a buffet place. Overall, I would say that it's like a golden corral on steroids

You walk in and it's instant vacation mode: warm Brazilian music, gauchos in full regalia sharpening swords like gladiators, and that glorious smell of beef, pork, and fire that hits you in the chest. Flip your coaster to green and the onslaught begins; flip it to red only if you're weak or lying to yourself. The picanha is absolute perfection: juicy, rosy, with that salty-charred fat cap that makes grown adults moan out loud. The filet mignon (both plain and bacon-wrapped) melts like Wagyu butter. The garlic beef is aggressively delicious, the lamb chops are minted and smoky, and the house-special Alcatra top sirloin keeps coming until you beg for mercy. Don't you dare sleep on the grilled pineapple; it's caramelized cinnamon-sugar magic that resets your palate for another round. The gourmet bar alone is worth the price of admission: giant wheels of Parmesan, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto roses, smoked salmon, artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, and a feijoada station with all the fixings. The hot sides (crispy polenta, garlic mashed potatoes, blackened plantains) keep rolling out like they're trying to bankrupt you in the best way. Cocktails? The caipirinhas are made with real cachaça and fresh lime that'll make you question every watered-down version you've ever had. The wine list has big South American reds ready to stand up to the meat storm, and the passion-fruit mojito is summer in a glass. Service is pure Southern hospitality with Brazilian swagger; gauchos remember your favorites, keep the good cuts coming, and treat every table like it's a celebration. Even when it's slammed on a Saturday night, everything flows like a well-oiled machine. Yes, it's all-you-can-eat premium protein, but it never feels chain-restaurant or rushed; it feels like you've been invited to a Brazilian family's backyard cookout that happens to have air-conditioning and an endless supply of filet. Birthdays, date nights, post-game feasts, or just "I deserve this today"; every occasion feels bigger here. I walked in hungry and left three hours later in the happiest food coma of my life, already texting friends to clear their weekend. Obrigado, Brazeiros. I have to state my bias upfront - my favorite French chef in the world is chef Ludo and I have gone to several of his restaurants. I rate every French onion soup to his. The way the restaurant prepares the soup is they put the soup and cheese in the bowl and then drown it in some type of liquor like a cognac or brandy. Then they light the top of the soup on fire, which is supposed to present the melted cheese while at the same time burning off the alcohol. The soup I got tasted so much of alcohol. I could not eat it. And it was a little bit skimpy on the cheese.
