Buyer be warned! I recently had the opportunity to visit Copper Penny Flowers. I was immediately enchanted by the little shop and the strong smell of flowers. But that's where my praise ends, unfortunately. I am a firm believer that customer service extends beyond face-to-face interaction and is as much about safeguarding customer information as it is about providing a quality product. In today's digital age, protecting customer data is paramount, and it appears that Copper Penny Flowers may be falling drastically short in this department. This shop has questionable practices that gave me pause. Rather than securely storing customer credit card information as per industry standard encryption, the shop is employing a less secure method, possibly making the sensitive information vulnerable to unauthorized access and error charges. Furthermore, they often (and in my case) stored this information without consent. Months after my purchase, this shop errantly charged my credit card more than $75. I have since reported the incident and taken appropriate steps to protect my account, but I felt it important to share my experience here to alert other potential customers. Although the shop's vibrant flowers and passionate staff deserve a commendation, the potential security risks cannot be overlooked. I hope the owner at Copper Flower Penny takes this feedback seriously and takes immediate steps to rectify their data protection practices and order system - although, after a brief chat with her in person, that seems unlikely. I'd love to continue supporting this local business, as their flowers truly are beautiful, but not at the risk of my financial security. Until they can demonstrate a commitment to secure data practices, I am unable to give them more than one star. Please, exercise caution when making purchases here until they have updated their systems and have revised how staff can make errors charging accounts. Ask the owner if they have done anything to secure your credit and user data. We all deserve peace of mind when shopping, whether it's for roses, ranunculus, or rhododendrons. read more

Jennifer was beyond meticulous and completely captured my romantic, whimsical, sophisticated vision fit for this venue! There were many moving pieces on the day of the wedding, from ceremony set up, deconstruction, cocktail hour, and reception, and Jennifer made sure it all went smoothly. I received so many complements on the flowers and overall ambiance that Copper Penny created. Everything was breathtaking, lush, and beyond my dreams. This florist is sensational! Jennifer, the owner, spent so many hours really listening to what our daughter had in mind. We found her suggestions so creative and so varied, clearly built upon experience with many, many events, and clearly reflecting her understanding of the desired theme. Jennifer visited the venue several times, twice without our daughter even being there, to get the feel of the space and to mentally try out the ideas. In each meeting, as they talked through Jennifer's suggestions and our daughter's floral hopes, the design slowly solidified. And the final result? Astounding!
