Thanking the Yelp Community for pointing me in this direction while I was leaving San Antonio and headed for AZ! This littls gem is just a little ways off I-10 but well worth it. It's surrounded and in between little businesses like a metal craft place and computer repair but it's adorable face stands out! It's entrance has little pottery and succulents that are inviting. Once you enter, the decor is tasteful and well thought of. Even their bathrooms are inviting, clean, and decorative. Upon first arriving, I was taken aback when the owner, Norma, immediately asked if I was from The Bulletin to do a review. I told her I was not and then she let me know they had given her a bad review. Our waiter, Keoni, was great! He was equal parts welcoming, friendly, and attentive. I had their Las Migas and my hubby had their Pigs in the Mud. We both enjoyed our dishes. The breakfast potatoes are some of the best we have tasted! Slightly crunchy, and full of flavor! My dish was served with a homemade flour tortilla! I really enjoyed every bite! Coffee was served with warm cream & made a great impression on us (details matter!) At the end of our meal, Norma did apologize for the way she had come across and I was thankful that she had reflected and made it right with her customer (me!) Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal and ended very well. For all of these reasons, I had zero reason to not give them the well-deserved 5-star review! Keep up the great work, Copper Pot! read more

Heard of the amazing food this place dishes out. Arrived Sunday around 11am not to crowed was seated as soon as we walked in. Very cozy spot the decor with lots of copper pots all over. Coffee was good, soda cans not a fan of. Now the food, yes perfect portions and well made. Now when the bill came my pancake special was $28.00 that's insane. Thus my 2 stars. read more

We were vacationing in the area and found great reviews for breakfast at The Copper Pot. We attempted to go on Dec. 26 but it was closed. We got lucky that as we were heading back to Houston on Dec. 27, they had reopened. Seating is limited in the front area. There's a larger area in the back and a patio too. We all loved our breakfast plates. My brother and I shared The Frenchman which included French toast, eggs and a protein of your choice. The French toast was really good. The coffee was good quality and smooth. The staff is very nice. They've been open for one year. Parking is limited up front but there's more in the back. Having brown sugar for the coffee would be a plus. The room where we dined had a Christmas tree with copper pots as ornaments. They offer salsa for your eggs. read more

We spent the weekend in Kerrville and wanted a nice brunch before we left town on Sunday; the Copper Pot was one of a few places open. The short response is the food was full of flavor, and the portion and price was fair. The service was efficient, but a hair off of warm and friendly. The vibe of the space and food is fun and creative with a nod to flavors, sights and sounds from south of the boarder. My husband and I are looking forward coming back on our next Kerrville visit. The Copper Pot looks tiny when you drive up to it tucked in with other less attractive businesses. Most of the parking available is behind the building; access it at the right-hand end (as you face the building). When you walk into the restaurant you see only a few small tables, but there are more at the back. My husband had an omelette with crab and shrimp topped by hollandaise sauce, red salsa and seasoned potatoes on the side. The eggs were fluffy, the crab and shrimp were delightfully present, the hollandaise was creamy and the potatoes were very tasty! I had the Verde Hash which includes eggs your way, seasoned potatoes, your choice of protein, salsa verde, and a tortilla. My over easy eggs were perfectly cooked, the potatoes were super flavorful, the salsa verde was piquant with the right amount of heat, the sausage patty had good seasoning, and everything played together beautifully. My one caveat is that some patience Is required. Food is made to order and from scratch. If time is of the essence you'll need to choose another restaurant. A note to staff, there was a table next to us that had been seated when we arrived. They never received their order and were understandably annoyed. May I suggest that the situation could have been better handled? The servers should have been aware that these guests had waited too long and checked in the kitchen. My guess is the ticket was somehow bypassed. Also, when speaking to the guests, the server should have been more direct in her communication, admitting the kitchen's mistake and apologizing. As it was, she made it seem like these people's perception of being skipped was incorrect, and that's when they - justifiably - decided to leave. read more

THE best chips and queso, burger and fries i've ever had. Keoni provided the best service. We called when we parked and asked about the dog patio and he opened it right up for us. I've driven past this place a 100 times, but never thought to stop. Small building, not much parking and very plain from the outside. What a huge mistake. This is a cozy small restaurant, with great, friendly service and some of the best food in Kerrville/Ingram area. My wife and I decided to have lunch and give it a try, I had the Chalupa Conpuesta and she had the Smash burger. The Chalupa really did have everything, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. all piled high on a home made corn tortilla. The burger was hand made, smashed on the grill, cooked to perfection. The presentation was beautiful. Our server was awesome, greeted at the door with a smile and welcome. Now one of my new favorite places to eat. The chef will periodically yell a number, so I asked what he was doing, the server said he was letting everyone know the cook time for meals. Ours was 20, when we left it was 30. I would highly recommend a meal here, order the chips and salsa and enjoy. read more

Wow! It's the cutest little place! The food was absolutely delicious! The service was fantastic! This was our first time here but we will be regulars. We had the half Sammi combo with the turkey sandwich which was so good! The fries were perfect and the raspberry vinaigrette on my salad was the best! Yes it is worth the hype. We had shrimp tacos which were excellent. It's not the complexity of the dishes -its doing the dishes well. Beans and rice were perfectly seasoned. First timer. Heard good things. Did not know exactly what to expect from a copper pot. It leans Mexican, but it's really non denominational, good solid, well prepared food. Chef owned & it shows! Went for breakfast. The French toast lived up to the hype. As did the Hunter's Hash. So did the homemade salsa! Service was friendly & efficient. You can tell that from top to bottom, the staff cares! Quite refreshing, as there's other good food in town, but this place is well run to boot! $23 p/p for breakfast & coffee won't be getting me there every week, but I will definitely be back & I recommend it highly! read more

What a wonderful gem the hill country has to offer. We found this place on a short trip we took visiting friends in Hunt. We had the Remolacha with grilled Salmon and Beef tacos which were prepared wonderfully. (Beef tenderloin) Our server Keoni was very attentive. Exceptional service! Family owned . Charming sweet place on the road to Ingram with wonderful food! These people really know what they're doing. We came for Sunday brunch and had the blueberry pancake special and "pigs in mud" (biscuits and sausage gravy.) The pancakes were delightfully light and fluffy and *full* of berries. A quaint little restaurant tucked away in Ingram with a home like feel. The front is a small area but plenty of seating in the back, big wood tables make it feel very grounding and magical. The food was good but the portions were very small and should have been bigger for the price you pay and the desserts well I highly advise not getting the Cinnamon Roll it is no Cinnabon more like a mini little sample of of one and I do mean mini like the pastries in Alice in Wonderland expect it's not a dream it's a reality. CP has great food. It's kind of "sophisticated casual" like Carrot Soup (divine!) and beautifully presented sandwiches/burgers and heavenly desserts like Tres Leches cake. The seating seems small when first entering, but they have a much larger dining room in the back. All the seating gives the feeling of intimacy, even if it's crowded. The servers are friendly, fast, professionals and keep your iced tea refilled. Excellent restaurant with reasonable prices. Our family loves it. read more

My wife and I visited the Copper Pot today for the first time after reading rave reviews. Our input is the restaurant is way too overrated (except for the being very pricey part). Our server's inattentiveness quickly became the elephant-in-the-room for us. Cool coffee, mediocre proportions and so-so flavorable menu choices topped everything off and will lead us back to Rio Ranch the next time we decide to trek across town for a Sunday breakfast. read more
