We have never had any problems. The front gate is secure with a gate and security guards. Many people here are just part time residents, here for the winter. We call them snowbirds. They are actually receiving a large amount of revenue from a cell tower and they are not updating the clubhouse or the pool area or the accommodations but they are asking for donations in the amount of $5 million to do with the renovation??? To anyone out there, I would not recommend this as a comfortable or affordable park to be part of please. there are so many other amazing opportunities and much more updated than this property.

The staff has been so caring and kind even when my dad's dementia and assorted other issues made him angry a lot in the evenings. Dad passed in October 25 at 89, and I'm positive we had him a few extra years because of the care he received. Some staff even came in on their days off for his memorial. Mom is 90 and staff and residents have helped save her life several times by noticing she wasn't functioning properly due to sepsis, morphine allergies, blood sugar, falls, etc. Thanks to all who pay attention and say something - it really does take a village! Now, have there been issues? Sure. Dad died and a contract PT person didn't know about the DNR, did CPR and brought him back. My sister worked with the facility to come up with a more effective DNR-honoring plan. We did get my dad for another couple of years. Oh, a few days later we took dad out for BBQ. Unbelievable! My sister lives nearby and visits frequently, staying on top of things because there are so many moving parts to elder care. I've tried to tip employees before, and each looked shocked and said oh, no tipping. The facility takes up a collection at year-end and splits it evenly among the employees. This ensures that families can thank staff, in a fair and financially safe manner. Part of the facility is "mostly independent" living (apartment style), part of it is more intensive/more interaction as the resident is less able to care for themselves, and part is behind locked doors for dementia folks who cannot care for themselves. Residents need to advocate for themselves, and family/friends need to visit regularly, pay attention to their loved one's mental, emotional and physical health. We're lucky - my sister is well-organized and lives in the area.

( Avg outside temp) 113 * super loose toilet seat Week 2 and 3 cable not working. 21x staff cafe up. Its operator error, your using the wrong remote. Really, how about both cable boxes did not work. Meeting with directors to suggest a pre check-in and or walk thru. Fell on deaf ears. Week 3 , no " ambassadors " show up to show people mom around. Found out that another service offered by sales did not exist. Week 4. Got a bill 3x agreed upon amount. Excuse 1 the bill is right. Excuse 2. Company is being sold we are managing 2 set of books. Umm ok, what does that have to do with crazy charges. Excuse 3 it's for 2 months . Um ok, where is my sept bill? Answer.. we don't know. Well if you don't know who does. We don't know. Answer 4. We will get back with you. Week 5. Random persons Rx shows up in Apt. Never heard of this person. Call front desk. No person by that name lives here. Call facility nurse concerned that random meds in my mom's apt could have killed her if she was allergic to it. Zero sense of urgency. Offered to dispose of it. I'm more concerned about how it got there . Asked for follow up call... nothing ( I found correct owner of meds in 5 minutes and brought them to her. She lived in a totally different facility and was freaking out that they were missing) Week 6 Missing package. Package delivered to front, Ofer it bring it up, package goes missing, 12 different answers about potential package theories , bottom line , Gone! Week 7. I notice over $1700. Missing from my mom's account. I discover in a facility that does not allow tips, my mom had "Tipped" employees over $1700, 5 and 10 bucks at a time. All this in 7 weeks. 100% my mom's fault for offering and probably insisted they take. 100% unacceptable for a resident they labeled " having some level of dementia and confused". Week 8 give notice. I asked for a brief meeting to let mgmt know the collective reasons we were leaving . Texted at 12 was told 5 or 6 hours later they had to go to the post office. They offered a call the next day, but that was move out day! It is very disappointing that my mom who lived in her home for 35 years, had this as her first assistant living experience! I debated writing this review ! It's too late for my family , but hopefully this will help you ask some extra questions before you put your loved one here. Transitioning twice in 8 weeks had been hard, sad , frustrating and unnecessary if this place would have just done what they said they were going to! Once they got the first chubby check, it went downhill quick!!! In all fairness the director did make some things happen when I made her aware of the issue. Unfortunately messages happen not to reach her, others assigned to call us back did not, the CYA game was played at the mastery level! Future Resident beware!!

An absolutely disgusting facility to treat a human being like that. PT was complaining of neglect and had sores on his body and was not in the best shape clothing wise and hygiene. I can't say enough good things about our experience at Springdale Village Post Subacute Rehabilitation Facility where my sister was recovering and receiving physical therapy from a broken leg. The facility is clean, well-run, and filled with people who clearly care about their patients. I especially want to recognize Robert K., my sister's case manager, who went above and beyond in every possible way. Robert was an absolute blessing during a very difficult time for our family. He worked so hard behind the scenes to make sure everything was in place for my sister's care and discharge plan. He was always professional, organized, and on top of every detail but what truly stood out was his kindness and compassion. Robert is truly amazing at what he does, and it's clear that he genuinely cares about his patients and their families. We are incredibly grateful for the level of support he provided. She is well fed, the facility is always clean, the meals are wonderful, and she is as happy as one can be under her circumstances. Her husband, my uncle, visits regularly, and always knows he will find his wife up and dressed, having a meal, or just finishing one, with clean linens on the bed, a comfortable chair where she feels safe, and people around who care for her and make her feel safe. I am grateful for the peace of mind my uncle has knowing the staff care greatly about and for my aunt which allows him some sense of comfort since they cannot be together in their home. Thank you all for not only caring for my aunt, but for the tenderness with which you care for my uncle as well. He is a wonderful man, and a wonderful husband to my aunt for over 65 years. For three years I cared for my mother as she battled dementia, it was one of the hardest experiences of my life, I struggled to understand her mood swings her refusal to eat, shower, or take medication. I eventually had to accept that I didn't have the skills or knowledge to provide the care she needed, after moving her four times since 2022 I was feeling hopeless until one day in March 2023 I overheard a woman at the grocery store raving about a place of joy she described it as heaven on Earth a place where her father was cared for with love and dedication her words stuck with me and I decided to visit from the moment I walked in I felt something different the owner Chela is incredibly attentive to detail and it's clear that she runs this home with both expertise and a huge heart every time I visit often unannounced I see caregivers who are genuinely happy always smiling and treating the residents with kindness and patience. Most importantly I always see the residents happy. the name says it all this truly is a place of joy, if you're looking for a group home where your loved one will be treated with dignity compassion and expert care this is it.
