Overall, I think this is a solid place to go. However, I do have to say that our bill for two people ended up being $130 for 2 entrees and 2 drinks. The food was very good, but not excellent. The ambience is very cozy and warm and comfortable. We sat on a couch type bench with pillows. The server was very attentive, but my ginger ale was flat and he did not offer to switch it out and just took it away and charged me for it. I ordered the Bison Ribeye Dip ($26) and the weak link of the meal and the evening was quite a bit of gristle and fat in the sandwich. The flavor was ok, to me it was under seasoned but it was offputting to be hitting chunks of hard gristle as I was chewing. The portion size was generous, but by the time you end up taking all the gristle and fat out, I guess it would be about an average portion. The au jus was just ok. Overall, I feel like the meat and au jus both lacked seasoning. I was grateful that they did substitute a salad because I do not eat potatoes. The Wagyu Braised Short Rib Dinner ($54) was accompanied by a heavy cornbread which was delicious. The flavor was very good. The meat was tender, too tender, and mushy. The accompanying veggies, Brussel sprouts, broccoli, and cabbage, were delicious. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. They do validate parking, which is nice. It's a little bit of walk to get in there and it's a little confusing to find if you don't know your way around but once you're in the restaurant, it has a warm and cozy upscale environment.

Overall: Beautiful atmosphere and food, service was really attentive ---- Duck Mole $34 - confit duck thigh, mole sauce, cilantro, lime rice, salsa macha - I've been craving mole for so long and was really excited to see this on the menu, unfortunately it fell a little short for me - the mole didn't have that deep, rich flavor I was looking for, it was still good but not what I expected - the duck texture was tender and fall off the bone, but the flavor was a bit more acidic than I would have liked - large portion, came with 2 duck thighs but not enough sauce for all of the rice and tortillas (came with 4 tortillas) - also would have liked more than just one slice of lime Bison Ribeye Dip $26: - lots of meat - changed out chips for fries - not enough flavor, to be fair the person who ordered it didn't want the horseradish aioli so that might have impacted the taster - the au jus didn't have enough flavor or salt for me either - the fries were great though Wagyu Braised Short Rib Dinner ($54); - cornbread was delicious, perfect level of sweetness (on the sweeter side if you like that) with green chili and cheddar cheese - meat was tender but I also wanted a little more flavor - brussel sprouts, cabbage, and broccoli were really great though, flavorful and cooked well ---- Notes: - located in the Gaylord Hotel, parking is validated inside the restaurant! - service was really attentive and kept checking in on us - the restaurant and general ambiance was beautiful and very cozy and sophisticated - the atmosphere felt very "high end, luxury cabin" - seems to be different prices between the lunch and dinner menu for some items like the duck mole at lunch is $26 and at dinner is $34 ---- Overall: very beautiful restaurant and aesthetically pleasing food, however the food fell a little short in some aspects of my personal tastes, otherwise was delicious; a nice place to splurge a little

We visited The Copper Table inside the Gaylord Hotel right after doing the ICE event, and it was such a great choice. When we arrived, they gave us the option of ordering from the menu or doing the buffet. The buffet was $30 per person, and kids eat free -- whether the adults get the buffet or not, which is a huge plus! My friend and I weren't very hungry, so we decided to share the bison burger. It normally comes with chips, but you can request fries instead (which we did). The bison burger was absolutely delicious -- juicy, flavorful, and honestly big enough for the both of us. So good! Our waitress -- I believe her name was Shadray -- was amazing. Super friendly, attentive, and just overall fantastic. The staff in general were all really warm and welcoming. We checked out the buffet since my friend's little girl was with us, and it looked incredible. She loved the food and said everything tasted delicious. They had a huge selection: fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, potatoes, an omelet bar, a waffle bar, cereal, oatmeal, chocolate milk, hot chocolate, hot apple cider -- seriously, something for everyone. I also ordered an Old Fashioned with Angel's Envy, and it was fabulous. Perfectly made -- definitely a 10/10. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Great service, great food, and a perfect spot to relax after the ICE event. Would absolutely eat here again!

This was their idea of an extra dirty martini :(

This was a pretty awful experience. We sat at 4:30 and the restaurant was very slow. We ordered the truffle fries as an appetizer and thought we may need 2 for the table of 6 adult 4 toddlers. The fries are a HUGE serving, (wish we would have been advised) and they get cold and gross very quickly. Because they don't put ketchup on the table, fries were like warm by the time we got ketchup and 1.8x of the 2x orders got left on the table. Huge waste. We ordered blue cheese olive martinis and just know the BC olives are so so bad. And the vodka they use tastes sweet... it was a horrible drink. The service was beyond slow. We waited until about 510 until she asked us to place our orders, food came at 530 for kids (who were then finished by 540 when ours showed) ... we didn't ask for kids to be served first, and we all were wondering what happened to our meals. When ours came, multiple orders were wrong and Luke warm. It was such a let down. Server didn't know basic questions about gluten free and nut free items which are absolutely necessary. Overall, the food was so so overpriced and our service was awful :(

Stayed at the Gaylord Resort over the weekend, and checked out Copper Table for breakfast. They offer buffet brunch for $30 but also menu options as well. My husband chose the brunch, and I opted for the Eggs Benedict. They were very busy with many families and couples visiting for holiday and events but the service was very timely! I was accidentally served ham instead of salmon on the Eggs Benedict but I didn't mind. It was very kind of the Chef to come out and apologize. I had already started eating the salad so they brought out salmon on the side. One of the better Eggs Benedict I've ever had and the potatoes were perfectly soft and flavorful! Andalysia (Anda) was our hostess and she was so kind and happy! Great energy and service! The restaurant looks small from the lobby but it is very spacious inside! There's a cute little greenery area and then more seating throughout by the Buffett.

Copper Table in the Gaylord Rockies Resort is a Colorado-themed restaurant located on the lower level. The space offers booth seating, tables, a chef's table, and bar seating, so there's something for everyone in terms of atmosphere. We started with the smoked chicken wings, which were really good and had a nice flavor from the peach dry rub. For mains, we tried the Great Range Bison Ribeye Dip Sandwich and the Colorado Mushroom Arrabbiata. Both dishes were interesting, but overall the Colorado-themed food just isn't something I would come back for. For dessert, we had the Colorado Apple-Crumble Cheesecake, which unfortunately was another miss. Honestly, I'd say skip dessert here altogether and head next door to The Fortunate Prospector for their warm Sticky Toffee Pudding instead. It's definitely the better choice.

Inside the Gaylord resort, this breakfast and dinner spot offers a breakfast buffet and an order from menu. We went for the menu ... one omelette and two Rockies breakfast. The eggs were cooked perfectly. I ordered the chicken sausage to which I added maple syrup. The syrup made me wish I had gone for the French toast or waffle ... loved it. Strange to get whole roasted potatoes but I did enjoy them. The prices were surprisingly good for a resort and the amount of food. The in house blueberry spread for the toast was yummy! The service was attentive and helpful.

The hostess who sat me and the server Heather were so nice. The restaurant wasn't busy like the others so I had decided to eat here after the ICE experience. Lovely restaurant and elegant. But he didn't see anything he wanted to eat and thought the prices were too high. They are expensive. So I suggested we eat at another restaurant off site and he agreed. They were nice about us leaving. Confused but no fuss.

    Great Range Bison Ribeye Dip

The service was great and the food is really good. The prices are a bit high for what you get, but I guess it makes sense being a nicer option in the Gaylord and the crowd that it's tailored to. We got the Sweet Corn Elote Skillet as an App and this was really good. Either the chips or the dip itself were very salty but overall a good way to start a meal. I ordered the Great Range Bison Ribeye Dip and was very impressed. Overall the sandwich had really good flavor and the horseradish aioli was not over powering in the least which for me is preferred (i normally would say no horseradish) We got an order of the macarons for everyone to share for dessert and there were smiles all around.

Ate at The Copper Table twice - once for dinner and once for brunch. They have kind of odd hours like closing at noon on weekdays which can be inconvenient. I got the Bison ribeye sandwich with Bison au jus. The meat was very tender and had a unique more gamey taste but in a good way. The cheese was a bit much but was still a great sandwich. The chips felt homemade but a bit salty. The au jus actually was pretty hearty and gave a nice balance to the saltiness from the rest of the meal. I also went for brunch on Saturday. Just an FYI, they have a separate brunch menu and a $30 brunch buffet which I decided to try. There were a lot of options including french toast, sausage, chia pudding, eggs Benedict, breakfast potatoes, lox, and had a Belgian waffle and omelet station. I thought the value was there with all the options and they were all pretty good quality. The honeycomb station was a nice touch too. I enjoyed everything I ate though only downside was there were quite a few fruit flies on some of the fruit at the waffle station. It's a bit pricey but the variety of options makes it worth it. I think this restaurant and others at the Gaylord do a weird thing where they ask customers to write reviews with their names in it so they can earn extra commission. Well, Lenworth provided great service at dinner and Mahlet friendly service at brunch. So, hope that helps.

Came here for breakfast but stayed for the conversations with Mahlet. She provided top notch service and the food was great. I loved my steak and eggs entree.

The Copper Tables is an upscale dining experience inside the Gaylord Resort. The dining room is breathtaking with high ceilings and beautiful decor. The menu features dishes that are Colorado inspired. My daughter and I had dinner there while staying at the resort. Jill was our server and she was friendly, offered suggestions on the menu. She checked on us regularly and made an effort to connect with us. She was a 5 star server. I had one of their signature cocktails - the Pepperoncini Martini. The martini was unique with a slight bite. I loved it. We shared the Sweet Corn Elote Skillet. This starter is impressive with a creamy corn and bean based dip topped with aioli and served with fresh corn chips. We took half of it home because there was so much. The plated is easily sharable. For my main, I ordered the Smoked Trout Nicoise, which was one of the best meals I have in a long time. The smoked trout was fresh with wonderful bits of crispy skin. The great beans and potatoes were delicious, creamy and filling. There was so much going on in the plate - egg, herbs, cracklings. I ate half and took half to go. My daughter had the Bison French Dip with a side salad. The sandwich was huge and she said it as tasty. My granddaughter had the Salmon Kid's meal. The salmon was beautifully prepared and delicious. She enjoyed the fresh fruit. Of the several restaurants that we tried in the Gaylord, this was my favorite. Fabulous food, great service and beautiful decor.

We were staying at the hotel for several days, so we ate here several times; had a breakfast, lunch & a dinner - at least 1 of each. Breakfast was tasty, home cooked potatoes, eggs & fresh bacon - all done well. Lunch on one of the days, we tried their chicken & biscuits, what a pleasant surprise, creamy, full of flavor, ending with a crunchy biscuit with just the right amount of crunch & softness. Dinner one night started with a round of cocktails & wine. For the mains there was the Salmon Al Pastor, a Copper Table Cesar salad with chicken, followed by a High Plains Salad with chicken; all well executed. Except no one left room for dessert, so we didn't get to taste any Services - service overall was on point, at times the restaurant was blown out, yet servers made a point of acknowledging the table, runners brought out water, wait staff started on drink orders. For as busy as it was they were on it, smiling, making contact & keeping things moving, great job! Ambiance is casual, if you get seated in the outdoor seating area, you might get the music from the bar nearby, which can be loud, so if you like it a little quieter ask to sit inside. Took few pics, at times it's just nice to relax into the moment, take in the sounds, smells & company.

I dined here recently for a bougie meal with a few work colleagues. It's an upscale restaurant, an homage to the steakhouses of yesteryear, yet modern and refined. For a Monday night the place was popping! Being with other colleagues, I was comfortable having a few others make the decisions. We landed on oysters as an appetizer and these were great. Being landlocked we always get the eye roll when they say the oysters are fresh...to their credit, they brought us a nice selection of East Coast and West Coast oysters that I found to be quite tasty! One of the best parts of dining at Old Hickory is their bread and butter. Like woah, it shouldn't be this good! Soft rolls and decadent butter, it's tough to beat a tried and true combination like this. Sides are a la carte like most steakhouses, maybe one day they'll change this! We ordered a few for the table. These were lacking in my humble opinion, the potatoes and brussels were just okay. They do provide a nice sized portion, and a single side can feed 2-3 people. Back to the good, a colleague and I shared the 24 oz. Bone In Ribeye. Now we're talking!!! This was cooked to a lovely medium rare, and loaded with flavor. Ribeyes are obviously one of the superior cuts of meat for a reason, this was buttery, rich, and damn delicious. I was stuffed, but we tried two desserts. I only had a bite of each, and these were presented beautifully and both great. I have to give a shoutout to our server, who took great care of us, made wine recommendations, and seemed genuinely happy to be taking care of us. For a steakhouse charging premium prices, I expected a more upscale and elegant dining experience. We had a server that knew the menu and made great recommendations. A great steakhouse experience is about more than just the food. It's also about the setting, presentation, and feeling of occasion.
