    Chicken

Service was great, food was good but nothing special. We had the chicken and was disappointed of how bland it was. I was expecting more items on the menu and most of all a more flavor.

Stopped by on a Saturday night and it wasn't crowded. We ordered the someori gukbap, budaejjigae, and chicken wings and honestly everything was delicious! The someori gukbap had a clear, light broth that was so comforting and warming. The budaejjigae was super hearty a bit spicy with tons of meat and ramen. The chicken wings were extra crispy and came with a sweet spicy sauce. The staff was also incredibly kind and welcoming. This is the perfect spot for the cold weather and to catch up with some friends. I'd 100% come back!

Quick service! AMAZING food! The side dishes were very fresh. Still craving the army stew days later! We couldn't finish the stew with just us two and it tasted just as good when we brought it home for leftovers.

Really good army stew with the best price in the area! Bring a couple of friends. One stew could feed 3 people very comfortably, maybe even 4. The service was a little slow but they looked busy, so it's not an issue. We were happy to sit and enjoy ourselves, I just wouldn't come if you're in a rush or have a time limit. Inside is neat and clean and feels like an authentic Korean bar!

Decent Korean food, but slow service. It took a while for us to be seated, since there were only 1 or 2 servers working on a Saturday night. We ordered the LA Galbi and the seafood tofu stew. We had the option to cook the galbi ourselves or have them cook it in the back. We chose to have them cook it. The galbi was good, but could have used a little more marinade. Banchan wasn't very fresh and the stew was a little bland.

Dad bak is a diamond in the rough! A very surprising restaurant you wouldn't expect. A friendly staff who remembered us right away but second trip and they knew my wife's drink order! Color my impressed with the artistic walls. They give you markers, pens, or pencils to leave your stamp on their walls. The food is amazing! Everything you eat will leave your tastebuds tingling for your next visit. The price is worth for some tasty home Korean cooking. And we recommend the fried chicken!!

    Jjambbong hotpot

When you walk into Dae Bak, you could think any of these things and be justified: "Why is there a beer pong table?" "Was this a Roman bath house?" "Did this used to be an Olive Garden?" "Is this a restaurant or a bar?" "Naw, maybe this was a pool hall.""Why is it so dark in here?" And then, you'll get your hot pot of boiling Korean food, and you'll be like "Whatever this place is, it's aight with me." AND you'll be happy that you found one of the few Korean places in the Denver area that's open late. With K-Pop playing, you'll check out the menu that has a lot of Korean staples like dduk bokki, jjam bbong, kimchi jun, soon dubu, and more. We got the jjam bbong hot pot, which was plenty of food for two people and had a surprising amount of crab in it. The flavor was good, and it was kind of the best kind of meal on a cold day, even if the JB doesn't quite get to the delish level of Yong Gung, it was still good. We wanted to get the dduk bokki, but the price was highway robbery for DB. This isn't a place for a romantic dinner, as you'll have a bunch of Korean dudes drinking and laughing the night away, but that's ok! If you don't need a restaurant to be fancy, and you don't mind eating a full-on dinner in a place that looks like it should only be serving mozzarella sticks and nachos, Dae Bak has a lot to offer that's a nice change of pace when you're looking for a big ole' hot pot of Korea, but you can only get to Aurora.

Another impromptu Dinner evening with my friend, who is willing to drive from Lone Tree just to have her Korean Dinner fix. Since this establishment opened a few weeks ago, I decide to bring my friend here. This establishment used to be some restaurant in which I cannot recall the name or the cuisine that they offer. In terms of the décor its weird. With those Roman Columns and graffiti that you can doodle, if you want... In terms of the Menu, they offer several variety. We ordered and shared the following items : * Ttuk-Bokki ($19.99) * Ai-Tang (Fish Roe Soup) ($14.99) * LA Galbi ($25.99) * Extra Noodles ($2) Since I don't feel like cooking at our table, I ask the kitchen to cook the LA Galbi. For now, its 3 stars... Limited options of bachan given to our table. First and foremost the Ttuk-Bokki is a little on a sweeter side for my palate. In the Ttuk-Bokki there are plenty of rice cakes. They also include the glass noodles at the bottom of the Ttuk-Bokki broth, which was a surprised for my friend, and she likes it a lot. She even ask the staff, if we could have more Glass Noodles, and he obliged. Yes you have to pay extra for those additional Glass Noodles. In the Ttuk-Bokki they include 2 hard boiled eggs. For this Ttuk-Bokki, PORTION is generous, you can feed like 4 people for this dish alone. The Fish Roe are huge and they do not skimp the portion of those. On top of the Fish Roe soup, they put big slices of Tofu. The taste of the soup is doable. Maybe next time, I will ask if they could make this more spicier etc. The LA Galbi is doable. I like it, though its not mind blowing LA Galbi. At least another restaurant I can find LA Galbi in which they don't mind cooking it in their kitchen. Sometimes, I would leave the cooking for the kitchen to do, rather than I do the cooking. In terms of service, they are OK. May return when needed though I cannot deny there are other items in their menu that peek my interest. This recent visit was on a Friday evening sometime at the end of October 2017. By the time we finished our Dinner many more patrons dining in. Plenty left-overs especially for the Ttuk-Bokki. DAE BAK 2648 S Parker Road, UNIT 11 Aurora, CO 80014 Tel : (720)-328-9328

Great late night hang out spot with delicious Korean bar food. My friend introduced me to this bar and grill, and I was delightfully surprised by how crispy and tangy their sauces, fried chicken was. Our food came with sides of pickled goodies that made the entrees taste even better. The service is fast, and the food came out in a timely manner. The fried chicken is freshly fried, so you don't have to worry about stale chicken. Check them out if you're looking for a late night excursion!

The Bulgogi was amazing! I came with my partner around 4pm on a Saturday and we were the only people there. Most of the menu was in Korean with some items also in English but the waitress explained everything on the menu and told us a lot of items off the menu as well. We tried to order two bulgogi plates and a soup but the waitress told us that was too much food so we both got the bulgogi plate. He waitress' recommendation was a good one as the bulgogi plate was huge! I'm a big guy and I eat a lot and I couldn't finish the plate of bulgogi, rice, and cabbage salad. The meal also came with several appetizers including kimchi, radish, and spicy bean sprouts. My partner has a nut allergy and they were careful to let us know what had or didn't have nuts. Everyone was very friendly and the food was wonderful. I will be coming back soon!

Awful... like tough boiled lean beef with soy sauce.

They ddukbokki took awhile to come out but once we got it, we enjoyed how it tasted like classic spicy rice cake with fish cake in it. It only had half of a boiled egg, but it was still good paired with the spicy and sweet sauce. They had lots of seating indoors. Definitely will be coming back to try more items.

At least for lunch combo, the thoughtful assortment of main dish and side dishes as well as soup of the day are very satisfactory. Their food is little bit more on a savory side compared to other Korean restaurants who use too many spices. Before I met Baekga, i was pretty disappointed in local franchises of Korean eateries in Colorado, but Baekga not only they have very calm and toned down atmosphere for pleasant meals, it is the venue I would actually bring my visitors to. The location is little far for me to explore their dinner menus but I would love to when I am nearby next time. Champagne kimchi was inspiring. I never had any kind of Kimchi taste like this. I really praise for the creativity. It would be a good pair with a variety of food such as charcuterie board, katsu, sausage dish, barbecue, and simple with wine! I personally liked Dakgangjeong, Beef radish soup (soup of the day), and champagne kimchi from my visit. Frankly, this venue maybe a polarizing Korean restaurant especially for Korean natives, but I personally think this venue deserves more recognition compared to other local Korean franchise in Denver/Aurora who just serve the food items but not the sincerity and/or creativity.

The meat is some of the best I've had in CO. It was very tender and fell off the bone very easily. The La galbi was so good and flavorful. When it's mixed with the onions and veggies and rice, everything tastes really good combined. I would skip on the pancakes because they were a little burnt. We saw a different one come out and it was also burnt. Otherwise, eat around because it's quite flavorful.

The interior was immediately green flags - l loved the decor and wood tones. It felt like I was in Korea! The menu is your typical pocha fare - soups, Korean pancakes, army stew, KBBQ meats. We ordered the jalapeño soy chicken wings, volcano pork, and the kimchi fried rice. My favorite was the chicken wings, really crunchy with good flavor and the wings were decently sized. The volcano pork came over a fire burner and cooked at our table. It was definitely pretty spicy but paired really well with the kimchi fried rice, which I thought could be spicier. The pork quality was ok but I really liked the flavors and the bean sprouts in the pot. I particularly love that K Pocha has zero sugar soju on the menu no sugar = no hangovers!)
