I was here sometime ago as a customer and it was very happy experience for me. So I returned with yet another job. There's some very nice people that work here and I was greeted immediately coming through the front door. She was polite and prompt, and took great care of me right for them when I got in there and assured me it would only take a few minutes for them to take care of what I came there to do. And it only took me like five minutes. It was wonderful. And I talked to another customer that felt the same way I did. They also had a very positive experience with this place. They offer a lot in this business center , and it has everything somebody that needs to sort of help for copying and projects. I wanted to laminate some calorie and Health food contents so they were laminated and protected. One of them came out of the machine, which is not too untypical with a little bit of a wave in the plastic and she happily took the item back and ran it through the machine again and it came out nice and smooth and perfect. Gregg and Natalie & co. were generous with their time and attention, and I really enjoyed the process of working with them to actualize my project, which I needed completed on a short deadline. They were able to get it printed that same afternoon, without extra rush charge, and the quality is absolutely fantastic. I couldn't be happier with the result--and the great service and music selection helped matters along. There is some lovely artwork throughout the store that is worth checking out! I also needed (picture attached) transparency vellum paper print-outs cut to a specific size, and they were able to provide these as well, at a reasonable cost. Last week We went into copy Central to make copies and was charged 27 cents per side. Today I went to a different copy store and was charged 10 cents per side. Make sure you ask how much a job will be before you make any copies or you'll pay almost triple the cost of other places. read more

This was an easy local option for printing out your consent form for a vaccine booster shot at the Safeway across the street. Copy Central has an email link you can send your print items to and they confirm verbally with you in store and go ahead and print out your items. The price and wait time both were reasonable, and it was nice to avoid the longer walk to Office Depot. All in all, we would definitely return! read more

Had a very negative experience here. Very grumpy guy told me it would take a week to print up a page of five names (needed to stick onto mailboxes). Seemed extreme but I went for it. They never called to tell me printing was done. When I contacted them and found it was ready, I went in to pick it up. After all of that, they misspelled one of the names although I had written it out correctly. Not going back there. read more

Came here to get some things printed for my wedding and I was extremely happy with the service I received. They helped us over the phone by letting us know what sizes were available. Always walk down here to print anything for UPS as it's $2 fee and .17 cents a page there and only twelve cents here. I was across the street at Bank of America and needed to make copies of a couple papers. I was going to head to FedEx when I noticed Copy Central. These guys are great!!! They don't have copy machines with a USB stick but didn't charge me for computer time to print from their computer. That was super nice. Also, the guy was super helpful. I ended up coming back a couple days later for a few other things and two guys were working, both of which took care of me like family. The prints turned out much nicer than if I was to go to FedEx. And they were super cheap. It's .09 or .12 to copy and print from a computer, respectively. Nice guys. Nice copies. read more

I went in because I needed help -- not a hard project -- just copying some things and folding them. This was something I was willing to pay someone to do, because I did not have the time to do it. I explain how I need help ("I need help, can you help me?"), I explain project to owner, he tells me that all he can do is hand me a stack of papers and I can do it myself. I guess it goes without saying: I was willing to PAY FOR HELP - because I didn't have the time to do it, especially with a 3-year old in tow. The copying is fine, I guess, but I'm not sure I've had worse customer service anywhere. (And in Berkeley/Albany, that's saying something!) They act like you're really putting them out when you ask for help. The woman who works here can be downright rude, and the man just seems indifferent to anyone's presence. I don't get it. I've rarely had ruder customer service than at this Copy Central store on Solano Avenue. The proprietor, a lady who refused to give her name, literally shut the door in my face several minutes before the 7 P.M. posted closing time, then simply repeated "closed, machines shut down." This after I had hobbled (thanks to a recent knee injury) across the street, almost certainly in her full view, to be sure that I arrived before the posted time. I've been here numerous times before but I won't be back in the future. This is a high volume commodity business; good customer service is paramount to success. He cared about the quality, and he made sure I was happy with the result. Great local resource. They do a great service on creating pdf's (rather pay them than Adobe), and recently, I forgot to erase something on a letter they pdf'ed (my error). Emailed them and they redid it, no charge. Recommend highly. I read the other reviews, and can only say sometimes people expect too much for self-service copies, but I have always found them to be helpful in getting you would you need. read more

Very nice experience today as a first-timer today and this will now be my new copy place. The people who work there are extremely friendly and helpful and I very much liked the relaxed atmosphere as well. Copy places can be stressful places, but not this one. I only had simple copying to do, nothing fancy, but I appreciated the spacious tables to spread things out on and organize, and the usual items like paper clips too. Everything was super neat, clean and tidy. I noticed many customers calling in with special orders, and the care, interest and attention with which these orders were handled.
