Copy Doctor is hands down the best print shop around. I've been a customer for 20+ years. Their team is friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. I've used them for copies, self-service printing, professional printing, and binding, and everything has come out perfect every time. No job is too big or too small -- they treat quick copy jobs with the same care as larger print projects. The quality is excellent, turnaround is quick, and they're always willing to help with options or recommendations. TIP: They do have a $5 minimum on copies if they do it for you. If you just need a few copies, do it yourself at the self-service machine to save a few dollars. Have been using them for years. Trusted them to print my save the dates for my wedding and we looked BLUE in the prints. Some of them came creased and every print looked different. Called back almost immediately after picking them up and they told me I could come back to have them reprinted, or refunded, but it had to be during the time that the manager was there (8-3) for his approval. Came back the next day and spoke with the lady in the front (who is very polite). She explained every one of their printers print color differently. She then reprinted one on a different machine and I was happy with that copy so I asked to reprint them. She had to get approval from the manager who then told her I would have to pay to reprint them again because there is "only a slight difference" (us being blue in one and normal color in the other). I asked for my money back instead and told them that I am just going to print them elsewhere as I don't have any hope they will all print the same the second time and definitely not paying for poor quality TWICE! They only offered a 15% refund because it is "just a color issue". If they would have told me this prior instead of agreeing to reprint or refund, I wouldn't have wasted an additional hour of drive time to go back up there for nothing. I was told that it was basically my fault and I should've asked to see the "proof" which was never offered to me. If all of the printers print differently the proof wouldn't have made a difference anyway. NOT ONCE DID THE MANAGER EVER COME OUT AND SPEAK WITH ME. He was relaying info via employee. Most of the time I was there was spent waiting for his approval and answers on things while he was taking other calls or off in the bathroom. I left the save the dates there to be thrown away as they were so awful they were not usable. What I am assuming was a "regular" walked in and I was completely ignored after that. She was very nice to that customer. I was told 2x times that printing addresses on 100-200 envelopes would be $25. I was happily surprised, and came back with someone else where they mentioned AGAIN it would be $25. I go in to collect the envelopes -envelopes I provided- and they tell me it's going to be $50 more. I had already paid the $25 so I was confused. I called over the girl who told me it was $25 & she said the $50 was for the ACTUAL printing on the envelopes. I debated with her on the fact that I had multiple email chains, calls, and in-person conversations where an additional price was never mentioned. She went and hid in the back while another employee came to help. This employee went and talked to Justin, the manager. Justin NEVER came to talk me or try to remedy the situation. Considering I was quoted $25 three times I feel extremely taken advantage of. I ended up paying and leaving because this is for my WEDDING. I'm very disappointed in the customer service, they just want your money. The fact that $25 was quoted to me multiple times then all the sudden it's $75 total?!? Very predatory. Don't go here & if you do, don't start a project without getting written confirmation of the end total. I didn't even think twice about the total because she had told me it 3x. Justin has poor customer service & managerial experience, he wouldn't even come look me in the eye or offer me a discount for HIS employees mistake. First I've used Copy Doctor for many years. What's brought me back over and over? Convenience. This is a local small business and I'm always for that. My mindset is that you get better service and loyalty with small businesses. I wish that where the case with this business. It saddens me how I was treated by the manager. I ordered a banner for a school booster club at the end of the season, and A LOT of life happened, I forgot about it, they called to remind me. I forgot about it unfortunately again. 6 months later - yes you read that right 6 months later school is starting back up I'm preparing to meet with booster club to transition to new members and need to get the banner. I arrived and they've thrown away a banner that was paid for already. Resolution to this was give me 20% off... again booster club that runs off of fundraising and sponsors- no money to start with situation. I nicely spoke with the manager as I felt this was a wrong approach to this situation. If y'all called me to remind me, can you implement calling customers to tell them it's about to be thrown out? I asked who the owner was as I felt like this was not a way to do business and there needs to be at least a disclaimer somewhere. His response literally was "would you read it if it we had one?" "You can talk to the owner but they're not going to do anything" I left flabbergasted as the other employees behind the desk are side eyeing each other and literally had no sense of customer service I especially expect in small businesses. They could careless. It's was so embarrassing even explaining the disappointment of throwing away $200 and the lack of systems meanwhile being very aware of how I'm handling myself in this culture we live in now where we just have to take whatever we get from these businesses and we better not dare disagree. I'm okay with being inconvenienced by traveling a little further to do business with people that appreciate my business. read more

I told the manager it was not what I wanted and would need to have it reprinted. Instead of getting me the proper sized presentation the manager argued with me and said I would need to pay for the reprint as well as the original print outs. I needed a project done and after having it for 5 days, they refused to do it since it wouldn't come out perfect. I gave my consent and knew the risks that it might not be perfect. I simply love this place. I needed invitations printed for my son's graduation, but didn't have time to stop in to CopyDr after work. I called, and the gentleman I spoke to outlined exactly what my options were and what it would cost. I emailed them the digital file I had and told them it was no rush, that I was just hoping to get the invites out by the next week. It wasn't even an hour and a half later that they emailed me back and said the invites were printed, cut, and ready to go! I just had my mom pick it up for me so she could give it to me this weekend when she comes to visit. They printed my wedding invitations including inserts, and my wedding programs. Don (owner) and his staff at Copy Doctor provide great customer service & quality work at very reasonable prices! I took a project in today at 1:15pm and Copy Doctor was busier than ants at a picnic! I worked with Don and he stated they could have my project out Monday at 10:30am. It was several copies of an 82 page color document. I needed the document(s) to be bound, 2-sided printed, clear cover, and head-to-toe printed. I was quoted a phenomenal price. The "office" stores couldn't even come close! I went home today pleased that I would have the documents ready on Monday at a great price. I was even happier to get a call at 3pm saying Mr. Washington please come get your documents as they are ready! Don's team is super friendly and remembered my wife and the recent print jobs she had completed there! The quality of print is great. I went to the store in person to get invitations printed. A man told me to email what I needed printed. I emailed him the file. He looked at it and asked how many and on what kind of paper. After I told him and he said "ok I have a few to do first I will email you when they are done." I asked when they would be done and he said "this afternoon." I asked if I paid now or after, he said "after." Called right before 5 because I still hadn't received an email. The man in the phone preceded to tell me that I had to have written instructions either on the email or paper and that they had not done the order because of that. I asked if they could still get it done today. He said very best end of day. I personally didn't like the condescending tone he had with me on the phone. He made it seem like I should have known about this form. I understand that misunderstandings and mistakes happen but good customer service apologizes for the error not make you feel like you, as a customer, should be making sure the employee is doing their job correctly. This printing shop has been good to me up till now. I went there to print 2 posters. I needed it the next morning though, so it was a rush order. Thus, I went in there on a Tuesday around noon and told them what I needed. One poster was on expensive high quality poster paper while the other one was on inexpensive blue print poster paper. That being said, I needed the both of them completely done and correctly printed the next day (Wednesday morning). I gave them my files and the lady specifically told me they would be ready to pick up at the end of the day at 6 p.m. They called me and told me they were ready at the end of the day of Tuesday. I specifically asked the lady on the phone,"Do they look okay and are they printed correctly?" I took her word for it and she said everything looked great. That was a lie, the inexpensive blue print poster had half of the contents missing along with text. On top of that, they told me they would leave my posters outside for me to pick up since they closed already. Good thing they didn't blow away with the wind... I went in there the next day to ask for a full refund on the inexpensive poster that was incorrectly printed. I was told this, "Because you used a dirt cheap printer, we can only discount the price of what you paid for this poster and give you half back." I said, "Then why did y'all not tell me that this was a quality printer and why do you print on basically a bad printer? I didn't pay for a rush order to be done incorrectly. It's y'alls job as a print shop to print correctly and check your own work. I understand it's rushed, but this is unprofessional and not what I paid for." We conversed back and forth and basically he told because it was a rush order, they only had so much time to print. They didn't even bother to check their own work and make sure it was correctly printed. This is what I paid for, a half done job. I deserve a full refund, but what was only given half back. I am beyond disappointed with their lack of customer service and they do not stand by what website states, "we guarantee premium high quality prints." read more

Tried to give business to the local guys. Went to have some artwork copied. The woman helping me seemed very put out. Not sure if she was pregnant or had a backache or was just a miserable person but it was a very uncomfortable experience. The prints came out looking nothing like the actual photos. Prints had heavy yellow and red tones with blue very muted. They waited until after I paid to tell me that I might want to try another shop for photo copies. Thanks. I sent copy doctor a document to print and now only did the document I wanted look absolutely terrible and grainy but for some reason a generic keynote presentation was sent to them and they printed it! The funny thing was most of the slides were blank or said "place text here". Why they didn't call me or ask me if I wanted a 30 page thick stock blank keynote presentation is beyond me but after all that they made me pay for it. I left the shop without any documents and a very bad taste in my mouth. Aside from the terrible work they did there service was absolutely terrible. They made me seem like I was bothering them from the moment I walked in the door. I have been using them for years and I promise I will NEVER go back there again. read more

I don't have a huge need for a copy shop personally, but I needed some programs printed and I didn't want to use my personal printer since I was almost out of ink. I decided to give Copy Dr. a try because they're a local business and I drive past them frequently. This was my first time there, and immediately upon walking in there was someone there to help me. I thought that was great! When I told her I need to make 2-sided color copies she showed me her paper samples and started to print them. When I went to pay for them and she told me the price I was floored! I told her it would have been nice to know the price before she printed, and as she was processing my credit card she says, Yeah, I probably should have let you know that before I printed. I should have just bought myself a new printer cartridge and done them myself for the price these cost to print. My mistake for not asking about pricing. Here's how Copy Dr could improve with future customers: display pricing more obviously. As a new customer, how was I supposed to know where the pricing was? It was all behind me and out of sight when standing at the front counter. Please provide all your options, not just your pricier, more profitable options when going over print options with customers. If I have printing needs again I will not be returning to Copy Dr. based off of this poor first impression. read more

Went here to have signs printed for my classroom. I sent a design by email after confirming this was ok along with an agreement that it could be a png file. 5 color, double sided signs printed on 12x18 card stock paper was around $11 with the teacher discount they kindly offered that week. AWESOME DEAL and they looked great. So great that another group at my school asked me to make their team some signs like mine. I went back the next week and printed 6 signs almost exactly the same (with less color actually) and the price was $19+ dollars. $8 for one more sign???? I was told that there was an extra fee because I didn't attach my image correctly to my email and an extra step had to be done on their part to download it and it was even more because it was done when I walked in. That's exactly how I ordered the first set but no fees were added then. Disappointed because I had already quoted my friends a price based on what I paid the previous week and now I feel bad so I'm going to eat the extra cost. read more

I was in Copy Dr earlier this week and I am very dissatisfied with the customer service that I recieved. I walked up to the front desk and asked the employee standing at the front counter about an order I would like to place. She seemed very annoyed by question. I went off to the computer there to complete my order. When it was time to print my order I walked back to the front desk for assistance, as i was told to. Terrible customer service. On my recent visit, two employees were working when I went into the store, but neither of them could assist me in printing a pdf to a double sided page. The male employee told me he had 40 orders to fulfill before noon (I was there at 7:05 am). I offered to do the printing myself if I could have a few minutes of his time to assist me with setting up the image on the computer; he reluctantly agreed and stated, "A lot of people are getting screwed by me helping you!" That's when I took my flash drive, and I left. Unbelievable how rude these employees are! If you don't have any employees who can help a walk-in customer, then why have the doors open at all.
