Excellent service today from Brandon at the front desk. I needed a color photocopy of an original about 14 x 18 inches, larger than the standard 11 x 17 inch flatbed scanner offered by most copy shops. To copy or scan larger documents, Copymat and many other shops use a drum roller. But my original was a vintage woodblock print, which I didn't want to risk putting through rollers. Brandon suggested scanning two halves separately, and showed me one of his scanners that would not crease the original when the cover is closed. He then used AI-powered software to automatically stitch and color-balance the two images. It worked well, and my color photocopy looks very nice. Sofia is amazing. Sofia was friendly on the phone and super helpful in catching a glaring typo I made on a document...it definitely wasn't expected but a catch I'm very thankful for. That's why I'm writing this review -- to make sure she gets props. But Copymat truly was great. They produced a beautiful one-off 80 page spiral bound booklet for me in less than 24 hours and it turned out amazing. They did this all for about $20 less than Staples or FedEx Office and unlike those two were actually helpful and friendly. This project was custom LEGO Instructions for a gift, and i plan to make more of these gifts and plan to return to Copymat Westwood every time to have them printed and suggest you do to for your needs as I'm confident they'll treat you as well as they did me. read more

Brandon went above and beyond to make sure that all of our signage for a big event at the Hammer Museum was perfect! Here's why I would 1000% recommend Copymat and work with them again: Stellar communications: We exchanged 140+ emails (!) over about six weeks, plus a handful of phone calls, and Brandon was friendly, responsive, organized, and detail-oriented the whole way through. A+ customer service: Brandon (and his kid!) went into the store on a weekend to assemble our step-and-repeat and text me a picture of it so we could make sure it looked great before it was delivered to the museum. I haven't even used the services at Copymat Westwood yet, but I'm giving it 5 stars because they've already shown exemplary customer service with just one quick phone call. I called to ask if they offer hard-back binding services and the gentleman who answered the phone was well-spoken, polite, and told me that although they don't offer that specific service, he would be happy to call a bindery they've worked with in the past and see what they might be able to do for me! What service! And Copymat may not even be technically getting any business from me! The gentleman on the phone took my name and number and told me he'd give me a call back as soon as possible with any information from the bindery on my prospective order. What is going on at this store? Are they new in the course-reader business? Here I sit, nearly two weeks into a ten-week course, and after THREE visits to Copymat they still haven't been able to produce the reader for me (or my similarly disgruntled classmates). Last Wednesday they assured me it would be ready that evening, but the next day there were no copies to be found. Okay, I figured, I'll just wait till Monday, surely they'll have this problem fixed by then. Monday - nope. Tuesday - nope. Now they promise it'll be ready Wednesday. At this point I'm not very optimistic. Hey Copymat, those books are REQUIRED readings for the course I'm spending thousands of dollars to take! I had to come here to buy a course reader for one of my classes. I've only been to the other course reader store, so I had a bit of difficulty finding Copymat. I commute to campus, so I stopped by on my way to school. After driving up and down Weyburn twice, I ended up parking along the street and went to get some coffee at Starbucks; I asked the cashier if she knew where it was. Copymat has, by far, the best service I have received in a very long time. The staff is helpful, friendly, and quick. The prices are extremely affordable. My accounting courses require pretty bulky course readers and usually by week 4 they're busted up so I wanted some kind of protective covering for them. After being told that it would take a few hours at Kinkos, (and would cost $10/course reader) I went across the street to Copymat. They had 3 course readers done at $4/each in about 5 minutes. My experience at Copymat was excellent! Just as the other reviews have raved about this place, it definitely deserves 5 stars. Mark's customer service was outstanding. He knew exactly what he was doing and even said that he would call the manager within the hr to find out about prices I saw online. He was very helpful and told me that he would be able to get the prints out by tomorrow afternoon. How wonderful is that? Furthermore, as compared to other copy places, payment is given after you get the finished product! Mark was kind enough to show me a sample of what my print would look like. What a truly excellent store. I brought my large textbook to be broken down into smaller sections, and I was extremely impressed by the quality of work from Beverly. I was nervous because the textbook is expensive, and I wanted some complicated additions to the different booklets (cover images, copy of the full table of contents and index, etc), and she listened to what I wanted, and really just nailed it and made everything look wonderful, polished, and professional for a very reasonable price. What a hidden gem! Pretty close to a big fedex place, not the easiest to spot, but worth finding. Helpful staff, self-printing as well as inexpensive full service options, good machines and professional results. Also, student and teacher friendly (close to UCLA campus). They do everything a larger printing company would do, but you feel like you're in a comfortable family-run establishment. CopyMat Westwood came through with flying colors! I needed a poster printed to present at a conference out of town. When I had it nearly finished mid-afternoon before the conference, I went to out in-house printer. They cheerfully informed me that if I submitted a file immediately, I could have the poster the next day. Well, the next day I would already be out of town! When the poster was ready to print that afternoon at 4:45, CopyMat Westwood was the closest place I found and so it was my first call. I was politely told essentially the same thing: send in the file and I could have the poster the next morning. When I thanked them and said I would just have to print at the conference the next day, they told me if I sent the file immediately, I could have it by 5:15. Wonderful! It was only when I arrived at 5:10 that I realized that they had officially closed at 5:00. They were working late for a small job from a customer they had never heard from before! They make a great product and have the best customer service of any printer I work with. When there are errors, they work quickly to correct them. Always accommodating, always great to work with, never the attitude we get from some other printers. Everyone was very helpful inside and even when the color printer wasn't working tried to take care of the problem as soon as possible. Prices weren't so bad either.. 5 stars for service efficiency: I needed to get a research paper (about 70 pages) bound and I actually went to Fedex Kinko's across the street first. They told me that they had to do tasks in the order in which they received them, so my book couldn't be bound until 2 hours later. Since I was on a deadline, I left Fedex and came across the streets since I thought "Copymat" implied that it would probably have some of the same services. My paper was bound in less than 5 minutes after I brought it in. Whopping total of $4. I couldn't be happier-- come here instead! read more

I came here to have some old notes spiral bound. The brunette lady who helped me (didn't get her name, sorry) was great and really paid attention to detail. The notes were A4-sized and fairly tattered, but she was careful and didn't miss a single page. Also, I brought card stock paper for the covers that were letter-sized, and they switched it to A4 for me. All this great service and the price came out lower than I was quoted. A+! read more

When my boyfriend and I had to go back and edit our own typo in a book we just had printed, he was so helpful as to just reprint the pages that needed it, and rebind the book with the old pages to keep our cost low. Copy mat is a self service print shop and there's only two computers available to use-one windows, one mac. The only reason I chose to print here was because of a review from Rafael A. But I'd never had such bad customer service as I have had here. I came here to have a specialty type of print, name tags, and man did it take forever. There are no inkjets for little jobs like these. The large massive copy/printers are not ideal for these jobs. A few of my name tags got chewed up by the printer. The ONE printer that prints color, takes a LONG time to warm up. It took me... 10 .. 10 WHOLE MINUTES for one page. There were two workers, one chubby mid-aged lady & one younger male. The one male obviously helped out the young blonde girl who came in later after I did. The other chubby mid-aged woman seriously lacks customer service. I told her that I had some color jobs to print and some BWs. She should've immediately turned on the printer for me as I did not have time to waste. The only reason this review has one star is because the owner? maybe? (older male gentleman) came out and helped me and was actually nice to me and apologized for the wait and inconvenience. The other workers just ignored me and left me waiting there. They seriously need to learn how to treat their customers. TIPS: - accepts credit cards (not sure if there's a minimum) - does NOT sell any printing material, should buy some before hand or will have to buy from Fed Ex across the street. read more
