My complaint concerns a male associate with a titled head (let's call him Mr. Tilthead then) at this store. Mr. Tilthead does not seem to possess basic communication skills. For instance, he misspelled my Roomba as "ruba" on the shipping label, which was quite imaginative. Furthermore, Mr. Tilthead mistakenly pointed out that I could not reuse an old Keurig box to ship my household items before another associate corrected him. In sum, it sounds like Mr. Tilthead tried to create as much trouble as possible. Most importantly, Mr. Tilthead blatantly gave me outrageously false information. Specifically, he stated that this store would NOT be able to request holding my package for pick-up at a UPS location near the destination; however, both the UPS telephone agent and the local store manager, who I spoke to 24 hours later, confirmed that the "hold for pick-up" option would be available if I requested it at the local store. Thus, there is a contradiction here. I tried to request that option not because I wanted to cause inconvenience for the UPS clerks but because of the prevalent theft at the destination address. Even though I had extremely low expectations on how ordinary people here treat their "jobs" as jobs, I still feel that Mr. Tilthead could have done more research or proposed alternatives, such as requiring a direct signature upon delivery, which could have prevented the UPS driver from simply throwing the package outside the building gate that serves as an open invitation for thieves. I know I will probably receive a superficial response (e.g., "We appreciate your business") as a lip service because I expect nothing more from ordinary workers in the service industry.

The UPS store charges $3.50 to print a UPS label for an Amazon return. This is absolutely absurd

Friendly and fast service. Not too much of a line. I come here for Amazon returns and it is always a breeze. Easy parking right out front.

Ask the Community - The UPS Store

Do they do notaries?

We do have a notary available during regular business hours.

I dropped off a returned parcel here for over a week to amazon knowing that the woman worked here didn't put the label on my parcel before I left, and as of today, there's still no update on tracking at all as if it was never Received. What to do?

But the owners/management have taken this store in a direction that feels unfair, confusing, and completely unresponsive -- and I can't recommend this location at all. I've used this UPS Store as my mailbox / package delivery address for about two years. Before I chose them, I checked other UPS Store locations in the area. This one is more expensive, they're not open on Sundays, and the parking is bad. I still chose them anyway because I needed Sunday access and privacy. After I asked a lot of questions, they finally allowed me to use a fob so I could access my mailbox on Sundays. Once that was set up, everything was going smoothly and I was planning to be a long-term customer -- like 10-20 years. Then out of nowhere, the store started sending me emails constantly (daily) saying I can't receive more than about 4 packages per month (it may be somewhere between 4-8 depending on what they're calling the "limit") and that I'm "over my limit" and will be charged an overage fee for every package over that number. That's ridiculous for a paid mailbox service. Even something basic like ordering a few items (example: a few boxes of stamps) could put you one package over and suddenly you're being charged extra. The biggest issue: I never signed any contract or document agreeing to an overage fee or a monthly package cap. No one explained this at signup, and I was never warned that they could suddenly start charging me additional fees per package like this. It feels like they just made up new rules after the fact and are trying to hold me to them. What made this go from frustrating to unacceptable is the complete lack of response. I've tried to resolve this the normal way: * I went in person * I called * I emailed the manager multiple times * I sent messages repeatedly And I received no response from ownership/management. None. This has only gone this far because I kept trying to communicate like a reasonable customer and it's like talking to a wall. I also paid for mailbox service because I do not want packages delivered to my home. I don't want anyone knowing where I live, and I don't want my items stolen. I always pick my packages up quickly -- same day most of the time -- except recently I had back-to-back surgeries and I literally can't walk normally right now, so I couldn't pick things up as fast as usual. During this period, I had situations where the store said they didn't see my packages, and then later I received a late pickup notice. That is incredibly stressful when you're paying for secure delivery and already dealing with medical recovery. At this point, I'm not just upset about the money -- it's the unfairness and the uncertainty. If a business can change terms midstream and then ignore every attempt to discuss it, it puts customers in a terrible position. I'm now sitting here wondering: if I renew next year, are they going to come up with another new set of "rules" and fees again? And if I leave, I have to change my address on everything -- which is a huge hassle because I already updated this address everywhere specifically because I planned to stay with them long-term. I truly regret choosing this store. The front staff are kind, and that's why it's sad to see it handled like this by the owners. But between the surprise overage-fee emails, the lack of any signed agreement for these fees, the ongoing confusion about packages, and the complete non-response from management, I cannot recommend this location. If you decide to use this UPS Store, get every single policy, limit, and fee in writing upfront -- because they may change things on you later and you may not be able to get anyone to respond.
