We had a nice dinner at Coquette and tried a little bit of everything, oysters, branzino, lamb, egg plant fries, mashed potatoes, and the Potato Croquettes. All solid, but the Brussels sprout salad was easily the star of the night. It was flavorful, and perfectly balanced, it was the one dish that really stood out and the reason I'd come back. If you go, make sure that salad is on your table.

Best brunch in Charlotte, no doubt! Was blown away by the quality, flavor, and artistry of this meal! Seriously one of the best overall meals in my 8 years of living in Charlotte. Overall feel was very similar to the restaurants I've experienced in Paris and the waitstaff was very pleasant and never made us feel rushed (very undervalued in a dining experience). Any dudes out there looking to impress your wife, girlfriend, or your date, this is the best brunch spot you're going to find around.

Lovely decor with a mix of modern and classic French style. The service is top notch. For brunch, we started with a regular croissant and an almond croissant. The fried chicken sandwich is an absolute must. Order the le burger with fried eggs and hollandaise sauce. It becomes more of a fork and knife burger, but it is delicious. The pommes frites are a perfect accompaniment to the sandwiches, as they are crispy, well seasoned and topped with dill. Ask for the garlic aioli, as they do not serve ketchup. We returned for dessert and ordered the beignets with raspberry sauce. Delicious!

We came here for a group dinner. I had the salad with scallops. It is very good. All the dishes are very decadent. Servings are on the larger side. We shared desserts. Space is very nice. Good service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Please come and create your own adventure.

This was a really fun spot to have lunch! I've heard about Coquette of course, but I so rarely come Uptown to dine anymore. This place seems like a great addition to the area. I met a friend for a lunch and yap and I was immediately impressed by this place when I walked in. It's beautiful and so wonderfully appointed!! It wasn't very busy for a Saturday afternoon, which I was happy about. I was seated immediately and ordered the salade aux Choux de bruxelles et Lardons. (Felt fancy just typing that lol). It was recommended by my server and it did not disappoint. This was the perfect blending of greens and had a lovely fried egg in the middle. I really enjoyed my meal, I also ordered bread and butter service. Highly delicious lol. This is a really great spot for a date night or fancy ladies night. I can't wait to go back!

Amazing food Nice restaurant and amazing Server Seems they were short in staff as we had to wait for 15 mins to be seated. Food was amazing Vibe was fantastic. Just and amazing lamb chops. Best ever I have tried. Chicken was good too. Must visit restaurant. They can even customise cocktails. The one he made for us was amazing one. Indoor and outdoor seating. Such a nice place and comfortable seating that it feels amazing. Must try

This spot revived my faith in the restaurant scene in Charlotte. The food was excellent and the service was equal. Jackson did a good job, Kelly the hostess was charming (a rare quality in trendy spots). The food was lovely. Started with the croissant aux escargot. It was different but tasty and the foie gras tarte was complex, and silky. The cassoulet with duck was delicious, nouveau presentation but absolutely delicious. Currently the kitchen is featuring a chocolate soufflé! It was magical!

A perfect girls night dinner before a show at the Knight Theater. The space is gorgeous. We were warmly greeted and seated at a 2 person table and then our server Lanie C greeted us. We enjoyed French 75s and ordered charcuterie. The Brie like cheese is a must. Then I ordered the Brussel sprout salad and my friend ordered...clams. Honestly I don't do shell fish so i dk. Lanie answered all our questions about ingredients and checked in to make sure we were happy with everything. I wish we had time for desserts, but we had to get to the show, so now I just have an excuse to go back!

I can't wait for Coquette's new location--this place was truly outstanding. From start to finish, it was a flawless dining experience. Every dish we ordered was perfectly executed and full of flavor. It's such a rare pleasure to have every course arrive at the table tasting exceptional. We had the escargot, salad, foie gras, and the beef bourguignon--and I'm serious when I say each one was absolutely delicious. Coquette really sets the bar high for the Charlotte dining scene--I haven't had a meal this complete and memorable in the city for as long as I can remember. To top it all off, the espresso martini was phenomenal! I would wholeheartedly recommend Coquette for anyone looking for a truly exceptional meal.

An honest review about Coquette... I really wanted to LOVE this spot, but it was only JUST OK! We made a reservation for Sunday brunch. Some of the tables that seat 2 people are very close to one another, and with our luck we were seated at one where we felt like we were dining with the other couple next to us...wasn't very comfortable. If the tables were spread apart a bit more then that would be nice. The restaurant itself is BEAUTIFULLY decorated though! Our waitress was not friendly at all. I mean ZERO personality, which is a shame for a spot like this. She made sure to tell us she was also looking after the bar as well. She took our drink order and then our food order, and we didn't see her again until the check came. When we asked her about pastries while ordering, it seemed like they were out of items like eclairs and croissants (on Easter Sunday, right when they opened at 11am, which was very odd). What French bistro is out of CROISSANTS??!! The French press coffee and fries were the 2 best menu items I had. The salads were all great too. The quiche was just ok, Cafe Monte definitely is the winner on that one so I would go there instead. Omelet was ok as well, nothing special and very plain. The duck fat fried chicken had this curry flavor to it which was odd but we ate it. Overall, this is a one and done for us. I would just come back for an order of fries and glass of wine if I was with a group that really wanted to go eat there (and that's a BIG maybe). La Belle Helene's Easter brunch was sooo much better last year, and Cafe Monte will still be out GO TO for a French breakfast / brunch!

Ignored for almost 20 minutes. We would have ordered another round but no one even asked.

Food was pretty dry and for kids and adults who order meaty items, they do not serve ketchup because "it isn't French"

Is there a parking lot or garage next door? Is parking free or validated?

You can park in the 400 S Tryon parking garage behind the bldg. The entrance to it faces the Mellow Mushroom. It's discounted with a scan sticker, but not free. There's also trying your luck with street parking if you plan on being in the city…

They've been here 2.5 years and from my first experience , they are absolutely crushing it. Dim lighting, beautiful bar design in a smaller space, and 90's-2000's hip hop was the perfect mix for a chill Friday night. Niaget took care of us at the bar (please forgive me if I got the spelling wrong!) and she is clearly a well trained mixologist. Cocktail menu is unique and the ingredients might seem a little far out, but trust the process. The drink pictured below was a bourbon-based (Old Forrester) custom cocktail that Niaget threw together. Hints of pineapple & mint mixed with my favorite brand bourbon made this an honest treat. I will be tossing this cocktail bar onto my favorites list and can't wait to go back.

I'm talking top tier, Veuve Clicquot Brut service...with a little spice...Best! He was so accommodating and keep us laughing the entire time. He went out of his way to make my day special! We started with beignets, oysters on the half shell and cocktails. Espresso Martinis, a Dirty Martini, and a specialty cocktail made to order. It may sound like a weird combination, but it all paired well together. I was in the mood for beef. So, I ordered the Wagyu Brunch Burger- 1/2 lb Wagyu, Over-Easy Egg, Grilled Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, Hollandaise, Avocado Spread, Brioche Bun, Garlic and Herb Fries. The fam had the Veggie Ranchero omelet- Seasonal Beans, Grilled Corn, Pico de Gallo, Poblano, Cheddar, Avocado, Tortilla Strips, Ranchero, Chipotle-Lime Crema, and a Hashbrown Casserole. Fingerling Breakfast potatoes, with a side of bacon and eggs, and another Hashbrown Casserole. Everything was cooked to perfection. I had such a great time and can't wait to return. I even made a recommendation to a friend who dined there Labor Day weekend and enjoyed her experience. I'll be back soon for sure!

He recommended the chargrilled oysters as well as the crab cakes which did not disappoint. I prefer handcrafted cocktails and this is exactly what you're going to experience at Crunkleton. If that's not enough, we devoured a third of our tomahawk steak, the strawberry salad and my favorite item of the night were the mixed vegetables that accompanied the steak. Yassss! I loved the veggies. Looking for foodie vibes, grab your friends and enjoy a night at the Crunkleton. Pro-Tip: parking is validated; arrive early to avoid crowds
