This restaurant is on the grounds (by the pool) of Hilton Grand Vacations at Sea World. I'm not sure if you have to be staying at the resort to go to the restaurant. Seems pretty open. Food was appetizing not bad but not great. The service was excellent and food was hot and the order (even with modifications) correct. We got the Smash burger and the shipwreck Burger. The smash burger has two quarter pound Pattie's and was pretty thick. The Shipwreck was an interesting combination of a chicken patty and a smashburger. Both were well done and not salty (which is very important to me). There could have been more lettuce (a withered sprig was thrown on) and tomato (one thin tomato slice). I'm on a low carb diet and could not eat the bun but it sure looked good! The fries had options of sweet potato, regular, or tater tots. We all got fries and they ate all of their so it just have been good. It is a place order at the counter and they bring it to your table. It is out by the pool so hot days (like today) are unbearable and the ceiling fans were useless. It seems like a fun area with a bar and lends itself to socialization. Pricing is average to the area and not any higher because it is a resort. If I stay at the resort again, I would eat there again. Would I make a special trip just to eat here, nah. read more

Pretty basic vacation resort food/restaurant. Good food selection, but prices are high due to resort surge. Great location with covered shade and outside. Music is often playing as this is by the pool. Service isn't best but it's not terrible. Sometimes just a lot of other people at the resort. This bustling very busy open air bar and grill serve the Hiltons main pool area. Great setup for lanai/ patio dining and drinking. Of course all glass ware is plastic because it is open to the swimming pools. A perfect place to grab a quick bite. The service is stand in a line and order for it to be delivered to your table. They do have drink service to those lounging around the pool though. Servers and staff were friendly despite being very busy. We were there for lunch after a long travel day and waiting for our room to be ready so this was perfect. We ordered a strawberry daiquiri and a pina colada plus H2O for drinks. They were very good refreshing and being frozen were quite capable of bringing on a good brain freeze if not careful. For food we ordered their crispy sweet and sour prawns on a bed of fried rice noodles. It was very tasty lightly battered deep fried prawns sautéed in a tasty sweet and sour sauce that went perfect with the crispy fried rice noodles. I'd rate this a 4/5 the slight reduction is sauce was a little too sweet for us. Though we don't like too much sweet. Many folks will be very happy. We also ordered two mahi tacos, now these are worth bragging about. First each taco contained a 1 1/2" by 2" by 3 " slab of wonderfully grilled mahi with a little slaw and a nice aioli. These were great tasting and very filling tacos. We have never had that much fish in a taco! The aioli was tasty and the price was great value. A definite 5/5 They served salsa and tortilla chips with the tacos. The salsa was good though a standard premade type the tortilla chips were not as crispy due to the humidity so a medium to poor eating of 2-3 out of 5. I had a recent stay at the Hilton Grand Vacations - Sea World and it was a decent stay. The food selections were a bit limited, but I love that they have a bar/restaurant in the pool area. It's super convenient...though you're going to pay Disney prices. My one day I was able to spend some time at the pool I decided to get some lunch. I ordered the Reef Salad with grilled chicken for $22. It was supposed to be romaine and a spring mix, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, and shredded cheese with an orange, miso, ginger dressing. It came with no avocado, no tomatoes, and no cucumber, but they subbed in walnuts, strawberries and used feta instead of shredded cheese. Good thing I wasn't allergic. I was disappointed in the salad, I mean, it was good, but not what I ordered and there was no explanation. The place is clean, the service is solid, the drinks and food selection are great, and the seating out of the sun is a great perk...but the prices are Disneyesque and I'm still annoyed at my salad. read more

The staff was so nice and accommodating but the food was not good. We waited about 30 minutes for 6 meals. The crab cake sandwich and cheeseburger were ok but the other dishes were bad. Great place to stop by for an evening snack or light dinner. In the winter months outdoor seating warms you up with fire heaters surrounding the tables. We had a dessert and smoothie. It was a great night cap and pleasant way to spend some quiet time. My 15 month old granddaughter loved it. She watched the fire heaters and enjoyed the brownie sunday dessert. Other customers enjoyed being entertained by her as she greeted everyone. Our waitress was pleasant. She gave us the happy hour menu that had drinks and appetizers all for $5. Guess we will stop by again tomorrow to taste them. They have flat screens playing sports for those interested. Top that off with your favorite drink! In the background are the resort pools with sounds of a waterfall. Top that off with some dim lighting and you have a perfect atmosphere to enjoy the evening. read more

It is very pricey for bar take out food. It used to be a wonderful full service sit down restaurant. With a full menu. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Now if you are lucky your food comes in clear plastic containers instead of the doggy bag styrofoam kind we got our cheese less nachos in. $15.00 for stale chip nachos full of lettuce and a teaspoon of cheese. Nachos are cheese. I had to ask for more. The employees are overworked and not happy. It is really sad to see. Our nachos were *made with stale chips and on the very top lots of lettuce, queso and a tiny bit of cheese and flavorless chicken cubes. Our burger & fries tasted better coming from clear plastic container that was sealed. We did a lot of take out from Bonefish Grill across the street because we got so much food it stretched to two meals so we figured we were paying the same amount for wonderful appetizing food a short walk from the hotel. *edited to correct word read more

The Coral Reef Bar & Grill is what you'd expect for your typical pool bar. Unfortunately, it's the only restaurant in the hotel, but the food really isn't too bad. However, the reason I'm giving 3 stars is due to the service. Although Christian the bar tender was awesome, most of the other waiters we had (both by the pool and for breakfast) were never around, and we'd often times have to stop another waiter to find ours. They have a solid breakfast, with plenty of options for everyone. I got an egg white omelet with their delicious breakfast potatoes and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste, especially for a pool bar. We also tried their garlic parm fries which were AMAZING, but a steep price at $8 just for one order. However, they came out in a giant skillet so we got a lot of fries, but it's still FRIES. I personally would skip the buckets they promote. For $15, they're fairly small and don't taste very good in my opinion. All in all, not too bad to grab breakfast, lunch, or drinks, but service brings the rating way down for me. read more

This is your typical resort pool area outdoor bar/restaurant; the drinks are good but the food is really subpar. You would never really find yourself coming here if you were not staying here. Also, be ready for the typical high hotel bar/restaurant prices. I did like that you could order side Caesars or fruit cups with the sandwiches or burgers instead of fries. The Caesar was fresh and simple. The dressing was good enough that I ordered extra to eat with my dry Mahi Wrap. The wrap was also supposed to come with avocado slices. However, only discovered a smidgen of avocado on my last bite. My men seemed happier than me with their food. The boys both had Pulled Pork Sliders ( one order with cole slaw on top and one without). Of course 11 year old thought the pork was too spicy ( I don't know why he bothers!), but 10 year old really liked them. I tried the pork and thought it was way too ooey gooey sickeningly sweet. Husband did have a delicious sandwich, if a bit sinful. The Seafood Club was a huge crab cake topped with sautéed shrimp and bacon on a brioche. I thought the crab cake was a little too sweet for my taste but the combination of it all was pretty yummy. I don't know if it was good enough to waste so many calories on though! Being a pool bar, service was a little leisurely, but our server was very sweet. The bartender was kind enough to remake my son's virgin strawberry piña colada when his first one was did not please him. Warm Prime rib, no Au jus had to ask for horseradish warm mashed potatoes not hot. I ask for shrimp cocktail for my dinner. Had to wait a considerable amount of time for mine after hubby was served. He did share his prime rib with me I was hungry. Very fatty. But tasted good. Shrimp served delightfully and nice size. A great choice if you are staying in the Hilton Grand Vacation Club! I ordered the Reef Burger and it was nice. The beef was good (upon hindsight I probably should have ordered medium rather than medium-well). The chips are especiallt tasty. I tried to not eat chips most of the time as a way to control my weight. But these chips were so tasty that I almost ate all of them! :) Just added: When I browsed the reviews below, I felt lucky for the service that I received. I was served by one of the staffs who has been there for more than a decade. I was taken to my seat immediately, given enough time to think through what I wanted to order, and offered suggestions regarding food choice. The wait time was like 10-15 minutes. It was around 8:30 pm so I was a bit hungry, but the food quality is totally worth it. Throughout the meal I was asked if everything was ok more than five times, and my glass was refilled. The selling point for this place is the location - right on property at the Hilton Grand Vacations resort, so if you don't want to leave the property... you've got a nice little place to eat (um, and drink and drink) poolside. The other selling point: the drinks. Their frozen cocktails are pretty damn good. And I've tried most of them, so I can highly recommend the frozen mojitos and the piña coladas. The margaritas are good, too - a little sweet, but no complaints. The food is decent - I've had the burger (good, but not great), the sweet potato fries (which are cut like steak fries) and various apps like the buffalo tenders (get the blue cheese!) and the chicken nachos (skip the cilantro-lime sour cream). The service can take awhile (servers are REALLY nice, just seem a bit stretched) and it gets loud. But if you like loud AND music (I do) there's generally a DJ spinning tunes all day and well into the night. (There's also a trivia contest during the day that everyone in the restaurant seems to be playing whenever we're in here.) There are plenty of local places to eat in Orlando (especially if you're not into chains) - but if you're looking for something easy on-property, this works. read more

Food is mediocre and service is terribly slooooooow. Last night we came by at 10pm during their late night happy hour. It was not very busy at all. I ordered a 2nd beer and it took so long I had to go to the bar and get it myself. Bartender wasn't busy with other customers so it wasn't like it was backed up. Fast forward to breakfast......medium sized crowd but plenty of open tables. Ordered an omelet, brisket hash couple coffees and OJ. Coffee came one at a time and I had to stop one of the servers from just walking by to get a second cup. It was probably about 45 min to get our food with not being packed or short on staff. When the food finally came out, we asked for some ketchup. Waitress walked by our table at least 4 times and our food was about 1/2 gone before I walked up got the wait station and asked for ketchup myself. Toast was more like stale bread and only one piece. Omelet was decent but the hash was cubed meat, not a hash. All in all a very disappointing place to eat considering it's the only option at a "vacation destination hotel".......don't even ask about the check in process and lost reservations . read more

Staying at the Grand Vacations for business and after a long day, I decided to stay on the property and check out Coral Reef. I was very happy with my visit. It wasn't too busy at almost 7:00 p.m. You'll hear a lot of activity from the pool, but you should obviously expect this since the restaurant is poolside. This not where you go for a quiet dining experience. I ordered a margarita and the crab cakes and salad appetizer (which made for a nice, light dinner). My server, Jarmila, was super friendly and attentive. The staff was prompt in cleaning tables and keeping things running smoothly. It's family friendly and business traveler friendly. Last night we had cocktails here, met a couple from Wisconsin on our right & twin sisters from Germany. Our drinks matched our conversations, they were great. He was introduced to Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire which he washed down with ice cold Stella draft. I drank golden margaritas on the rocks with salt (Herradura Tequila, Grand Marnier, OJ & Fat Tuesday sour mix), plus I nursed a chilled shot of Petron. All our drinks were expertly poured! read more

This is all about poolside conveyance. They do a decent job on service most times. Pros: Decent food, especially for a poolside resort mostly serving kids and families. I liked the crab cakes with salad, not a sprig or two of lettuce but a mini version of their kale salad, a bit overdressed but tasty. Enough for 2 or 3 as a snack. Great service off peak. Cons: Young and somewhat unsupervised wait staff on some shifts makes getting the orders out in decent time and together tough. We went with family (9) and kitchen dishes came out with 5 minutes of each other but the pizza, for the youngest came out after all others were finished eating. The waitress apologized and in said it happens all the time because it comes from upstairs? where ever that is, but that means it can be announced at order or put in 5 minutes early with rush. The restaurant manager said the same thing and took it off the bill. I did not taste it but the 6 year old said it was good. All in all a lovely setting, few games and screaming 5 year olds, but that is where this and and off peak it is nice and most servers were working hard to make folks comfortable in the heat and fun. read more

Enjoyed our meal!! We got coconut shrimp as an app. It was crispy and crunchy and enjoyable. Good way to start off our meal. We both got the tacos ( steak and mahi) and they were very good. Mixed drinks were pricey, $12 in a plastic cup and a bit weak. It was a very chilly night but they provided heaters and it helped us stay warm. I was pleasantly surprised with the food, I am usually not a fan of eating at a hotel restaurants. Service was good. Would recommend this place if you are staying at the resort. read more

First time staying at Hilton grand vacations and I must admit food was good and service was fast. I am very impressed. Was the only restaurant on property but was very convenient and good. My husband and I had the Reef burger. I am a burger eater I tell you and that was a delicious juicy burger. Well cooked sides were fresh and fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned well. Also had a few drinks at the bar. Prices aren't too bad. Especially for children. Very reasonable prices better then I imagined as a matter of fact. Worth trying especially if you are on property and dont feel like going anywhere. Its located right by a pool so that made it even better. Felt like we were having drinks on the beach or something lol. Thank you to our bartender and the whole Reef staff. You guys are amazing. read more

So after I was finally seated. I ordered the steak medium rare it came overcooked so I sent it back. When it returned it tasted like it was frozen although it was cooked correctly. Bitter flavor which they tried drown with steak sauce. They did take it off the bill but now I have to leave and go somewhere else. This is not fine dining. My family and I have been coming to HGV @ Seaworld for years -- this must be our fourth visit -- so although the last time I ate at the Coral Reef Bar & Grill was a while ago, all I could remember was a mediocre, typical pool bar with similarly mediocre food and service. So, especially after reading the Yelp reviews, my expectations were low. However, we had the BEST meal here a couple nights ago. I got the blackened chicken pita, and others got the burger and salad. The chicken was cooked perfectly, was juicy and the rest of the sides were fresh and delicious. I also ordered a fruit cup on the side and it was amazing - fresh, ripe and more variety than your typical fruit cup with oranges, pineapples, strawberries, and more. The service was good overall, better than my expectations, except it did take a while to get our drinks. Overall, if you are staying at HGV, do not skip out on eating here! read more

While staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, we must have eaten here at least four different times..the service was always excellent, the food was hit/miss, it depends on what you order, the BLT sandwich is delish, they use a special brie mayo, which was great..the fries are subpar, the breakfast was okay, they charged everything ala carte, so the bill for four of us, having light breakfasts came to $68/with tip, that was pricey.. The Bermuda happy hour, the drinks are a bit watered down, so don't fall for the happy hour thing, just order your regular drink, the prices are not outrageous for pool/bar drinks here...My issue was when we ordered pizza for the room, due to the fact that we had hot wings, they added a fifteen percent service charge to the bill?! So for two pizza's and wing's, it was $58..Maybe that's normal for some , but not for me. read more
