Spent $1000 to install seat covers, that showed shoddy installation. Corbin said that the installation was new and had to wear in. after a period of "wear in" i called to have seat installation discrepancies addressed, but got a pretty fancy dance around the problems, E.G. not real leather, covers probably from e-bay, his would have been $1500 just for the two seats, plus a grand for putting them in. There are wrinkles, the rear is just hanging instead of being connected underneath, and there is nothing wrong with the quality of the seats, he said they were vinyl, the look exactly like the oem seat covers that were on it. the only issue i had with this, is the installation, the covers are of good quality, but were installed by someone that had something better to do, and at a thousand dollars one would think he would have wanted to see the job, rather than starting the blame game. read more

I had a custom interior plut in my 94 Nissan d21 after it was stolen. The work was so good I had Jake & this crew do a full interior on my 76 glasply cuddy cabin boat. This is the only place I will go now. I've had them do a repair on my 03 cadillac cts and they installed aftermarket heated seats. I am taking my 04 honda element in for seat repairs now, he found material that other places said doesn't exist and it looks exactly like the factory material! I had Jake touch up the color on my wife's Lexus leather seats. I thought he would go over ALL the seats, but only took care of the two obvious spots, nothing more. He charged me $500! I wish I had read the yelp reviews first. I can't imagine he will be in business long at this rate. I won't recommend this business. read more

Used for honda element seat covers Do not go to this company they just order seat covers from 2nd party they told me that foam could be replaced , said cost would rise from 1700 to 2250, then told me no new foam, just some to correct-seats but they could clean all foam, clean under seat, and deodorize car, some how price was 2200 a month later they did work complaining of supply chain issues, not convincing first-they charge $40 for credit carduse and do not disclosed, once for deposit and once at end =$80, they did not tell us and i offered to pay cash no deodorizing was done, no refund of money despite my requesting it under-seat not cleaned and airbags not reinstalled, we had-to have it done No extra foam added on passenger side so it slumps and final bill was close to 2500 Sloppy work, deceitful practices read more

I have a friend that took his T-Bucket to this place to get the seats and surround of the "bucket" (door panels, kick panels, and behind the seat) done with Italian Leather and gave the guy the exact materials he wanted used and pictures of what he wanted it to look like, not that it matters since I have remote control cars with better detail. This man charged my friend 18k to do this work and it came out so bad that I would be embarrassed to have this work out in the public. also ruined a bunch of beautiful leather. not a straight line was sewed anywhere the size of the stitching and color was not even close to what was agreed upon and just horrendous work all around. Now Italian leather is pricy but this is a model T roadster. all 10 sq ft of it cost 18k ?? This friend of mine is dying and he's trying to get this car done so he can enjoy it before he goes and this amateur scam artist took advantage of him and told him too bad. So I am writing this because my friend is a good man and did not like what my first idea of a course of action would be. Please have better sense than to use someone like this that cannot even handle two seats correctly and robs his customers. HE DID NOT EVEN OFFER TO FIX THE UGLY, EMBARRASSING, PATHETIC WORK AS ANY HONORABLE MAN WOULD DO. I hope people actually read these and this is coming from someone that has been in this industry since he was born and I've seen bad work like that before but not at the astronomical price this hack charged a dying man. DO NOT GO HERE. Ended up having more damage on my car than anything else. Everything was done the wrong way and now I have to get it all redone. The kids that work there do not respect your stuff and will lose your parts. Corbin is a nice guy, but do not trust him with your classic cars lol. read more

Only 5 minutes east of I-5, slightly north of downtown Marysville, I found a professional, helpful shop that offered every service that I could imagine to improve the interior of my van. They can, and do, everything for the interior of your vehicle. I'm almost 70, been around cars a long time, and I was very impressed with their attention to my needs and to everyone else who pulled in while I waited. I got out of there in a reasonable time and at a very reasonable cost. I think that you'll be impressed, too. read more

After a discussion with Jake Corbin to verify they were capable of doing the work I was requesting, I took my 1 of 142 1970 Challenger R/T SE's there to replace the gator grain vinyl top. They ruined the trim around the windshield, cracked the windshield on both sides in multiple places and ruined the stainless above the door and quarter glass on the passenger side. They also broke the tail off of both roof SE emblems. After having the car for a day or two he suggested I needed to have the top prepped and painted so the new top would adhere properly. I agreed and paid him an additional $600.00. Problem is, after getting the car home I was repairing some rust at the lower part of the windshield frame, I saw he didn't paint the entire top, when I asked him about it he stated "we only painted it where it was in dire need" Aside from these items he neglected to put the factory pad under the vinyl top around the rear window plug and it looks very amateurish and will need to be redone by someone qualified. I offered initially to have him Install new foam and seat covers (I purchase) to compensate for the $ I'm out by the damage caused by them. After getting the car home and fully understanding the amateurish work done by them, I elected to not have anymore work performed by them. I asked for reimbursement for the cost of the stainless, windshield etc. He first told me he turned it into his insurance. After contacting his insurance, I was notified Corbin Custom Upholstery does not have that type of insurance. After notifying him that this isn't covered by insurance, he is now stating that the contract I signed states they are not responsible for damages out of there control or by fire, theft or testing. Not sure how he believes this was out of there control but that's his position. BEWARE, I would not take anything to Corbin Custom Upholstery. They do amateurish work, charge for things not done and will not stand behind there mistakes. read more
